Youngest said, "I want a burger today." Here we are in Vancouver, BC, Canada, no clue where to go. Not about to go ANYWHERE we can get at home... So, time to Yelp. This place looks good, let's go there. Well, the map directions don't work... sort of. It put us near it, but, it is in the mall. That info would have really helped. It's a Korean BBQ/Burger stand in a mall. We had about 5 different burgers. Not a bad one in the bunch. The garlic fries MUST be eaten. No exceptions. Not much to say here. If you're in the Vancouver/Coquitlam area, go here. Period. It's great! PS. Wifey agrees!

Chris, our server treated us like a couple of good old friends during our dinner. Two words to describe her would be genuinely friendly and down to earth. I ordered the #1 works gluten free hamburger where lettuce replaces the bun but you still get all the other goods. Cheddar, Mozzarella, Bacon & Mushrooms with Dill Pickles. Hubby ordered the bbq, bacon cheddar and mushroom burger. Both were fresh, slightly greasy. The good kind of greasy that tells you you're eating an outdoor-grilled burger. ;) The fries were plentiful and tasty while the wine cleared my palate for the next bite. A good burger, a bit of vino and a sunset are my mix for a great evening!

We have been a few times and starting to make it our go to place. The server is very friendly and fast. The food is soo good! It actually feels real rather than like every other Sysco restaurant if you know what I mean. My favorite burger is the thai burger with peanut butter ~ sounds strange but sooo good. The yam wedges are the best. My husband got the chicken special which was great as well. We treated ourselves to milk shakes - apple pie and lemon poppy seed and they were great! The apple pie is packed with flavor and actually tastes like an apple pie slice. I loved my lemon poppy special though. Very refreshing.

I lucked out though and managed to secure a couple of seats for my friend and I. In my humble opinion, I think we got the best seats in the house. We were right by the window which gave us a nice view of the outdoors and while it wasn't super far away from the other tables in the restaurant, I think it was slightly more private by the window than anywhere else in the restaurant. My friend ordered a coffee. I ordered an iced Choco Matcha and we shared an Acai bowl. Our server brought us two extra cups for sharing our Acai bowl. That wasn't something we had requested so I think that was a very thoughtful gesture. Five stars for the service! I found the Acai to be much runnier than what I've encountered in other shops. It's usually more solid and easier to scoop. This Acai bowll also seemed less sweet than other Acai bowls I have had. That didn't make it any less enjoyable though and that probably also means that it was healthier. Healthy while still being enjoyable is a win-win in my books. The Choco Matcha Latte was good as well. I appreciated how accommodating the restaurant was with bringing us cups to share, and splitting the bill for us. We did sense towards the end that they kinda wanted us out of there so that other people could sit in the restaurant. We'd been there for awhile though so this was very understandable and I wouldn't say that they rushed us or pressured us to leave. They had trays of freshly baked goods for sale, closer to the cashier. I might go in sometime just to take a look at some of their baked goods and hopefully take something home with me! They basically want you to order right after you seated and pay the bill as soon as you have your last bite still in your mouth. Nobody bothered to fill my water even they passed me many many times. The only time the waitress (all koreans, but speak English) talked to me was when I ordered, and when I literally just finished my food telling me to pay at the counter. If you do not want customers to hang out, maybe think about turning into a take-out only place. Then nobody would think "as soon as I finished my food, I'm not welcome here."
