1-Star Review Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I've been a loyal McDonald's customer for over seven years, stopping by every morning without fail. But after a recent visit, I feel compelled to share a truly disappointing experience. I spent $12.99 on a breakfast meal, only to be handed a bagel that was so burnt, it looked more like a hamburger patty than something edible. It was completely inedible and clearly should have never been served to a paying customer. What made things worse? I reached out to McDonald's corporate AND filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau--and never received a single response. After years of trust and support, this lack of accountability is deeply frustrating. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect basic quality and the courtesy of a reply when a customer raises a valid concern. This experience has seriously made me rethink supporting this location--and possibly the brand as a whole. Do better, McDonald's. Ok so I know it's McDonald's but I haven't had McDonald's in ages ... I could count on my hand how many times I've had it in the past 25 years. But it was late and I was hung and I had a really good day and wanted a guilt free Mickey dee meal One thing anyone wants when they come to McDonald's is fresh lot made hot fries. That's the number one rule . And this place nailed for me The Big Mac was good too This meal smelled reminiscent of childhood and made me not regret having it at all. was here today and they didn't even give me my other told me to come inside and i go in they just not even helping the inside people they just helping drive thru. I placed a mobile order 10 mins before coming and they didn't even give me my order she told me to call McDonald's just got a refund instead of helping me and the other people in line with there orders. Simply sad. I now avoid this McDonald's. It has caused me health related issues on multiple occasions. I am a Diabetic and have ordered Diet Coke and constantly receive regular Coke. Zero stars! Worst service, never gets my order right! Had to correct them on several visits. Lady in drive thru clearly does not understand English well or mathematics. Last visit ordered 4 sandwiches plus got 3. I told them never leaving the window I'm missing a sandwich. Don't go to this McDonald's. I was just here recently. The drive thru cashier gave my order to the customer before me. When i asked her if i could have a fresh order sje did not answer me. Manager arrived at the drive thru window and told me that they threw the order away that thet accidentally gave to the wrong customer and asked me to buy. Of'course i did eat the food. I paid for my order to getting to the 2nd drive thru window. I reported the issue to corporate on 5/14/2021 I was told someone would reach out to me within 24 hours. Still waiting!!! I can't believe how terrible this place is. Regularly forgetting food items at drive through so I have to go in to get the missing items, which defeats the purpose. This most recent time they forgot 1 breakfast sandwich and I got the biggest attitude as if I was mistaken or trying to steal a 2 dollar sandwich! at the speaker I ordered a DOUBLE qp and Diet Coke. first time through the drive through noticed it wasn't a Diet Coke which brought me to check the receipt realizing the girl at the window completely entered my whole order wrong. after 3 trips through the drive through and THREE sodas, they finally got my order right. oh, and I had to pay $2 extra for them to fix the mistake. They didn't even give me an updated receipt for the extra points I should have in my app for spending more money. the man who has long women's nails is the one who i dealt with after the girl who is constantly on the window messing everything up every night she works had us back for the THIRD time with shit not right. my husband special orders his food with extra pickles and drink with no ice and absolutely no mistakes whatsoever for his food. Beware of this McDonald's. 99% of the time that I go there my order is not right. It's gotten so bad that I decided to resort to giving a yelp review, especially when I realized it's not an isolated incident. Let me start off by saying that I love the location of this store. My family and I live in Wall and it's on the way home. It's not enough to keep me though. 99% of the time my order is wrong. I always order a 20 piece nugget with 2 cheese burger's. For some reason they feel that I should have a cheese burger, fry and the 20 piece. That order was from 2 day's ago (That's not what I ordered) Last night I ordered 2 cheese burger's and a 20 piece. This time I checked my order, but of course there was something wrong, not enough sauce. I've had previous orders with no sauce but the sauce was on my receipt. Then I realize that my daughter in-law had the same issue. Happy meals for my grandson, with no fries(the fries are his favorite) She's also had juice boxes with no straw's. My cheese burger's are extremely sloppy and they don't care. Why you might ask, it's because I've called 3 times about issue's and they truly don't care. Do yourself a favor and don't even try going there. You won't be happy. If I cam give it zero star's I would. read more

Placed a mobile order for an unsweetened ice tea to pick up in the drive through. Got it and as I was driving away, opened it to squeeze my lemons, no lemons. Tasted it, no sweetener either. Pulled into the lot and brought it inside. The girl at the drive through said, oh we don't have lemons. I said, well why wouldn't you tell me that? I also asked, did you put Splenda in it? She said yeah, I said, no, no you didn't. The only reason I'm giving this place two instead of one star is because the manager went into the back and cut a lemon. Like wtf, is that that hard? These kids working in this location are dumber than rocks. And will lie to cover their mistakes. To the girl in the drive through, you better get your sh** together otherwise you're going to be working at McDonald's your whole life. And you can't even do that right. Pathetic. And this is why I don't feel minimum wage workers deserve such a huge increase in minimum wage. read more

Typical McDonald's. I walked up to the counter and said: "I'll have a SMALL #1 combo, please" (Yes, there was actually an emphasis on the "SMALL" when I said it.) My experience at this McDonalds started as usual. The Girl on the speaker while taking my order was engaged in a conversation with a friend that interrupted my order and I had to repeat it several times. That is the standard there. How ever, my order was right on the receipt. The order it's self was wacky. I ordered 2 for $5 Big Mac's and a 10 piece nugget and chicken sandwich also 2 for $5. That is exactly what I got.. here's the wacky part. There where 13 nuggets in the 10 piece, the chicken sandwich was smothered in Mustard and about 20 pickle slices and one of the Big Macs consisted of bread, meat and onions.. no sauce, no lettuce, nothing else... why only one? Was this intentional or just a lack of attention? The Girl in the pick up window pushed the bag of food out so quick she jammed our fingers and then slammed the window closed. I went to this McDonald's and ordered a milkshake. I went to the window and paid. The lady at the window told me to hold on. After a few minutes she came back with everything besides the shake and told me the machine isn't working because it is past 12am. Then she was about to the close window and I asked her to give me my money back for the shake. She was hesitant about giving me my money back but I got it back...also the fries and Mc chicken were both cold. read more

I have never been more disappointed in a chain restaurant in my life. My friend and I were driving home from a concert in Philadelphia around 1:30 am. We hadn't eaten since 4:30 when we arrived at the concert and we had been on our feet all night, since then. We were STARVING. And knowing from previous experiences that McDonald's is always a reliable and available 24/7 (at most locations), we decided to stop at the nearest one to grab some food. We checked online on not 1, but 2 sources to see if the one on Route 66 in Neptune would be open, and both sites we checked said 24/7. We arrived at this location and the lights were on inside the restaurant. We looped around and the drive-thru screen was off so we looped around to see if we could walk in the restaurant. There were 2 employees sitting inside not paying attention to us at all or motioning us away. They began to play with the lights to try and darken the restaurant and sway us away. We went back up to the drive-thru where they turned on the screen but shut off all the lights and as we were leaving the 2 employees made motions at us to go away. Very rude and disappointing as I have been a loyal customer of McDonalds for as long as I can remember. I will not be going back to this location read more

I'm giving it 2 stars for one reason only. I've never had a bad experince at this McDonald's before until very recently. I went to McDonald's, and they did not give me a drink I ordered. My dad asked for it at the window and had his $2 ready to pay. Our reply: Back of the line. It would only take the lady 20 seconds or less to take the money, give us the drink we wanted, and say sorry. My dad asked to see the manager, but apparently the lady was the manager. My dad called the number for the McDonald's afterwords and complained. I'm probably never going back to that McDonald's. read more

Going through the drive through this morning was once again terrible. After waiting in front of speaker for far too long I said "hello". I ordered an egg mcmuffin and pulled up. I handed the cashier a $5 dollar bill. She promptly took it, but i did not receive change. She then began to call for help for what seem to be another order. She kept screaming that she "couldnt find the oatmeal button" and was asking someone for help. After waiting again, far too long, i told her to keep it and pulled up in the empty lane to the next window for my sandwich. The employee says to me, "sausage mcmuffin", i say "no, regular mcmuffin." She then switches bags and tells me to have a nice day. As i drive off i check the bag and see i was given a sausage mcmuffin. I turn around and head to the store. I tell the clerk that i was given the wrong sandwich and asked for a regular mcmuffin. I told the manager that the drive through was terrible, and she said she would address it. I quickly took tbag and headed to my car and drove off. I should've checked the bag while i was in the store, but being in a rush, I didn't. I was again given a sausage mcmuffin. I will not be going to this mcdonalds ever again. read more
