My hypothesis is that the manager & owner do not care about the poor reviews because they're afforded the luxury of being on such a busy intersection, AND walking distance from the high school. I would visit my hometown Muskego McDonald's from time to time over the years since it opened. However, one day a woman customer was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me! I got out of my car, and the woman gave me the meanest, most disgusted look from a distance away! I felt extremely uncomfortable and quickly drove off. I had a crazy day at work with no time to eat anything and was on my way to a supplier meeting. I saw this McD's and thought "self, you are a delicate flower and if you don't put something in your food hole before this 3 hour meeting about expansion joints you will literally perish", so I stopped. It was a young African American girl who talks so fast and mumbles through the speaker that you literally can't understand her. Then gets rude and disrespectful when you ask her to repeat herself. So, I went there last Sunday, and of course went through the drive thru because of this "pandemic" and by the way, I'm a hardcore vegan, so I ordered a vegan hamburger, only for them to say they didn't have any vegan hamburgers, which I knew was false, because the last time I went there, the man who took my order and gave me my food assured me it was meatless, though it tasted very realistic, a lot like real meat as I remember it from 20 years ago. So anyway, then I'm like, fine, can I have a salad, and the employee has the nerve to tell me no - that they "don't have lettuce" because of some bogus "recall", and so I'm like, fine, I'll try once more, I'll just get a cone or something, and make myself some quinoa with linseed oil and lentils when I get home, so I order myself a small cone, and, lo and behold, they say that their ice cream machine isn't working, which is the worst excuse I've ever heard. They almost mentioned that they believed they had left their refrigerator running, and had to get back to it, which I admit didn't sound good. But so I came all this way, 8 blocks from my house, to not be able to get anything, and so I back up out of the drive thru, avoiding the cars honking at me, but it's like where can I go??? I get that this is a McDonald's but every time we come here with our daughter the play are is disgusting! I was there for 2 hours this time while my daughter played and I worked on my laptop. Now once did an employee come in there to wipe down the tables and the garbage was so full I had to empty my tray it inside the restaurant. Muskego PL .. In recent times, McDonald's has been undergoing something of a renaissance into trying to become some odd upscale Starbucks-a-like, and in doing so, as a parent, I've been disappointed to see a number of nice playlands disappear. McDonald's seems to have forgotten that they have the playland market cornered... so anyways, I've decided to review some and share some hints for other parents. A few years ago, I would have said that this was a virtual twin of the McDonald's on Hwy 100 and National, except that they knocked that one down and replaced it with a lame playland. This one used to actually have a ball pit, but they ripped that out and replaced it with some video games that are in various states of disrepair. Two levels of tubes and a nice slide, and a fair amount of seating space. There's also a block table, though there were no blocks the last time we were there. A restroom in the playland is a great thing for those of us who have more than one kid. It's nice to be able to let one kid go use the facilities without having to pack up the other kids to keep an eye on things. Giving it 4 out of 5 "for a McDonald's". read more

I went through the drive thru on Sunday 4/26/20 and the heavyset woman wearing glasses (She was not wearing her name tag) but looked like a manager, was one of the most obnoxiously rude person I have ever encountered. No hello, no thank you, and she looked pissed off that she had to be at work. I was the fifth person in my line and heard her being rude to others at well. I downloaded Yelp just to say that I had the best fries ever. Cooked to crispy perfection where it was soft on the inside but you get the satisfying crunch getting into it. These crispy fries were complimented with the perfect amount of salt. Not to much salt to the point where my mouth would dry up nor to little where I couldn't taste it. This was the perfect middle ground. These fries were the greatest find since Mesopotamia and you can bet your bottom dollar I'm coming back. read more

I hoped the remodeling at this location would provide an improvement in food service, quality, and cleanliness, but I was wrong! This convenient location, close to my home, does not live up to what I know from being a past McDonald's employee has been it goals: Fast service, cleanliness, well prepared food, and friendly workers. Unfortunately, in over a year of patronizing it, I can no longer accept the constant slow drive thru service, cold food, out of menu items, and dirty interior, unclean and uncleared tables, and what seems to be poor management concerns to make it better. I went inside to the counter and I was totally floored because while I was standing in line flies were attacking me and the guy next to me. I placed my order and as I was looking in the back by the ventilation hood I saw tons of flies. I looked a little closer to notice that flies were flying all over the place including the prep area although I couldn't see the table I could tell a bunch of lies were back there it was then that I canceled my order and walked out. I also noted that there was a bag of trash untied sitting next to the counter I get the whole fact that it was closing time but I certainly wasn't going to eat any food coming from this place. I visited this mcdonald's 20 minuets before closing, assuming i would still be served. When I arrived there, doors were locked. I walked to the drive thru speaker to talk to an employee because they would not let us in. They claimed they were understaffed, although they had at least 5 people working. This frustrates me because it wasn't supposed to be closed. They should staff their restaurant on weekends when there are more people are around. read more

This is one of the filthiest McDonalds I've been to. Floors are dirty and need sweeping. Soda machine is gross. It also needs a deep cleaning. When you look close like on the sides of soda machine are in corners, you can tell how neglected it is. No sign of a manager. Employees (there are a lot of them) take breaks in dinning area and play games on their phones and are very loud. Must be a corporate store, as there is no pride of ownership. End of rant. read more

Had some of the worst experiences here. I live in Muskego and have to go 15-20 minutes away for a decent mcdonalds. Food tastes like crap, manager kicked me out for defending myself because one of her "friends" yelled at me for no reason when I was there to buy food for my little brother, they always mess up my order, workers always have an attitude there, it always takes them forever, can't handle large crowds, food is always cold. Of course, the Coca-Cola was excellent per usual, but the fries were not up to my standards. They were room-temperature, and very stale.
