Overall the restaurant is not bad. Service is prompt. The staff is not welcoming. Check your bag for your orders, because we had to go back to the counter for missing items. If you are at drive thru double check, because you don't want to drive back. Restrooms are filthy, there are molds on the ceilings. I was coming down from New York to go on vacation and we were hungry and decided to go the mcdonalds. When we started to place the order the lady was struggling to understand the order. We then proceeded to have to wait almost 10 minutes just to go up to the second window after paying. The order was nothing too complex and they were struggling to get it right. I had to explain what the drinks were and the fact that they were not supposed to have ice and they still put it in. They didnt put one of the double quarter pounders in the bag and when I told them they were getting very defensive and gave an attitude, like sorry retard I didnt mess up the order. I've been going to this Mcdonalds for years, and I will admit its not NEAR as bad as other Mcdonalds' I've been to. But there IS room for improvement. Its bathrooms are VERY clean, even cleaner than Walmart's, and the staff are mostly friendly. They never get my orders wrong, and the food is always fresh. However, I will say its on the slow side. ESPECIALLY inside. They never have more than one employee at the cash register inside recently, and so you end up waiting longer inside than you would behind 10 cars in the drive thru. Oddly, the drive thru is MOSTLY on the speedy side, but my main problem/complaint is the lot size of the Mcdonalds. It's EXTREMELY small and cramped, which is strange because the plaza has such a HUGE parking lot, with tons of space, and NO stores in that area. There's an Ollie's across but that has its own parking lot. Because the lot of this Mcdonalds is so small, the drive thru set up can be confusing, and cause alot of arguing and road rage. They really should expand its size after all these years, put in a Play Place while they're at it. But honestly, it could be alot worse. I've had more positive experiences here than negative so that's saying something. read more

Ok ... so I'm not much of a fast food person even though at times I hit up Wendy's for an easy roadside snack. Today we left peach festival and my friend had to go when she had to go haha! So we stopped at McDonald's. I usually just get oatmeal and that was years ago but today I saw they had the emoticon toys in the happy meal! I love monkeys and I will always embrace the child inside. (It helps being great with kids too btw) so I got a happy meal! I ate healthy on vacation because we made most of our food and hiked up and down the mountain. So why not.. let's see what a burger is like now! Everyone got something different to try the nuggets to sandwiches to burgers. We even got one for the dog! I love that we can get yogurt and I have my fries away. I saved a few and they were nice and crunchy! The bathrooms were so clean and the tables had center pieces! I was very impressed! I also liked the seasoning and hot sauce tray with other condiments. This location by far changed my view. They even had a small kids table even though they didn't have the playground. read more

Must be a slow day for me, I'm reviewing a roadside McDonald's. The place was swamped when we got in, since a brewing blizzard had forced everyone off the road, and it was this or Subway. Since my self-loathing hadn't peaked enough for Subway, here I was. The place was actually really clean, which surprised me given all the snow and slush outside. Everyone was really putting their backs into keeping this place running smoothly. Placing the order was easy, and while it wasn't very fast (again, they were swamped, so I don't mind) it all came out hot and honestly pretty fresh. Don't get me wrong, it's still a McDonald's, so nothing tasted great, but as far as McNuggets go, I wish they were all like the ones here. 4/5, would be forced off-road again. read more

I downloaded this app just to write this review. I too am essential worker and personally don't feel bad that they are coming to work to get paid. They somehow didn't hear that I wanted sprite. Maybe they are hard of hearing? But this is not an excuse for the problem solving skills that they lack when I asked them to fix it. She gave me a nasty look, it's also questionable if she spit in my sprite. I just hope they realize that i am a good customer and just ordered $60 of food and all I wanted was my sprite. This McDonald's is pretty good! I am visiting the Poconos for a few days, and I wanted to eat out one day. That day was today hahaha. I walked in and I was impressed. The environment of the restaurant was very relaxed and everything was pretty clean. I placed my order on the kiosk, which worked very well and I payed at the counter. I got a large shamrock shake in my order which I put a special request on. I wanted some Oreos in my shamrock shake, but the cashier never asked me what my special request was. They also only had one cashier working the register. This isn't a problem, but the wait could've been a bit shorter. Overall, the employees seem nice. As I was dumping my tray in the trash, the person working the lobby assisted me with dumping it out and wished me a good day. Would definitely come here again when I'm in the poconos! read more

Lost 1 star for the counter worker with the attitude, and another star because the doorway to the parking lot puts you right out into the drive-thru alley, so there's a good chance you will get hit by a car when leaving the restaurant... but on the bright side your belly will be full. read more

I've been thru the drivethru a few times now. This place is horrible... The employees are rude and don't even greet you or thank you for being a customer! The WORST customer service ever. My chicken was raw and my French fries were hard like a rock and dark brown. When we brought the issue to the store they didn't even apologize and say they'll fix the issue, they just took the wrap and fries and went to the back to talk to their other co workers who were then giving dirty looks. Night Shift is The Absolute worst . I waited for my food for more then 20 minutes , there was only one other car in the drive through with me , the food tasted so old and not fresh. my fries were cold and drenched in oil along with my nuggets , my chicken wrapped tasted like fish as if it was fried in the same oil as the fish , the nuggets tasted like old oil grease and my burgers looked like they were rushed and tossed into the bag , sloppy and out of the wrapper . My most recent visit was two days ago and I ordered via mobile ordering & waited in the drive thru for roughly 30-40 minutes. I was already irritated because when I attempted to leave after waiting awhile I was unable to due to cars in front & behind me & cones blocking the right side of the cars. I pull up to the window & tell the girl I have a mobile order, she was very loud but very friendly. I get to the second window and my food was correct but the amount they charged me was more than it was on the app. I addressed the issue with the girl at the window and she said "oh well there's nothing I can do about it, your card has already been charged and we can't fix that" so now I'm getting even angrier and I ask who I should call for a full refund & that keep the food & I would go else where. The girl starts an attitude and tells me that I can't get a refund from anywhere and that this has happened to multiple people! So I ask for a manager and a man comes over , he was quite rude to me and gave me an attitude as well. I asked for my money back and he said he couldn't do that but what he could do was give me a free French fry. I was beyond pissed because they messed up and I had to (literally) pay for it. read more
