A quick and easy stop this afternoon for lunch time, it was a simple process to park, order on the app, pick it up inside and be on our way. A Filet-O-Fish for Mrs. K, a chicken snack wrap for me, one large fries that we shared. The sandwiches were cooked properly, assembled right and wrapped properly. As seems to be customary, the fries were underdone and not hot. This seems to be a consistent McDonald's problem. The parking lot was clean and free of litter. Today (12/21/25) I went to McDonald's at around 1:20pm. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, a med fry, and a lg drink. I was given my drink at the window and told to go to one of the drive thru stalls to wait for the rest of my order. I got my food a few mins later and drove home. I live 2 miles from McDonald's max. I got home to enjoy my food and my FRIES WERE COLD. Only one sandwich was above room temperature. The other sandwich was lukewarm. I've lived in the area for 3 years and consistently get bad service at this location. Over the last 3 years I have gotten one apple pie that was warm, the rest have been cold. One time I had to wait in the drive thru 30 mins from the time I ordered my food to the time I received it. The employees always cheat you on your sodas. They consistently fill them just past 3/4 full. Over the last 2 weeks, I've eaten at four other locations and my food was good, hot, and ready quickly. I don't know who is to blame for the consistent bad service at the Mountain Grove location. However, for it to continue for years on end, it has to be management. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. Best avoid this location until they clean up their management and staffing --dishonest, argumentative, generally annoying. Too many have the customer is wrong attitude and you will take what we enter, not what you want. read more

So slow and orders are wrong at least 75 % of the time. Younger workers are rude and too busy fooling around.

This McDonalds location is fairly accurate when it comes to order accuracy every time I have been. They are super slow and many times some food will be super hot, while the rest can be old and barely warm. read more

I've went TWO nights in a row to get holiday pies. The first night we were told that it would be a couple minutes pulled us forward (which we were okay with) after probably 20 minutes goes buy i go inside and they tell me they gave our pies to someone else. Tonight we pre ordered so we wouldn't have to wait and as soon as we pull up a worker comes out and says they only have three of what we ordered and asked if we would sample for an apple pie which we agreed. This could be a great McDonald's, and have more regular locals if the coffee wasn't watered down. McDonald's is famous for there coffee,but out of all the ones I've been to across the U.S.A., this ones different. Also you can't get your own drinks and condiments. Nice and clean, even the bathrooms. They have a redbox. Double drive through with quick service. We just go fries and used the restroom. Fries were exactly like all the other McDonald's. They were good. I only dock the one star because McDonald's is almost exactly the same everywhere and just does not have that "special" factor. read more

This is the first time in over 50 years of eating at McDonald's that I've twice in the same day! Breakfast was a "Triple Stack Biscuit" and lunch was a fresh to order "Quarter Pounder with Cheese". This is absolutely one of the best McD's ever! The personnel are fast, efficient, friendly and food was hot and perfect to order! The interior is immaculate, there is plenty of parking and is easily accessible from the highway! read more

they keep either messing up our meals, or they keep getting the orders wrong, so i am giving just 2 stars until they get better employees, or hire other people besides high schooler's and teens. i ordered the buy 1 get 1 for 1.00 the other day, and they didn't even give me my 2 double quarter pounder's with cheese, so i had to waste my gas and go back up there and wait for them to remake my orders that was missing, and they even forgot my sauces for my nuggets, which is another reason for 2 stars.... and just the other day i ordered 2 kids meals which they also had gotten wrong, i ordered one with extra fries and one with apple slices, and it was suppose to be 1 with nuggets and the other with a cheeseburger, well at the pay window i paid, pulled into parking to check my order, and sure enough they were 2 happy meals with cheeseburgers and fries and no apple slices, i may have to look into another place to order food rom now on until changes are made. read more

This is apparently the place to go on a Saturday morning in Mountain Grove. They were busy non stop all morning. There is lots of room to sit hear and the bathrooms are spacious. They give you plenty of room to kick back and let it go under the golden arches. The staff seemed friendly and the location was clean. Still its McDonald's. The only negative thing was trying to get back out on to the main road. read more

Really a great McDonald's. We were discouraged at first because a lot of the new McDonald's or the ones being renovated aren't kid friendly and do not even have changing tables in the women's bathroom. We have 2 year old triplets and it is a must. Especially when traveling across country. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Even brought us our food since our hands are full. Both bathrooms had changing tables which was a blessing as both me and my husband could split the duty of changing them up. Not only that but both had changing table pads stocked and a trashcan nearby. The only draw back was that they were in the handicap stall when we prefer them not because often times its occupied. However, this time we had no problems with that. We really appreciated this particular resturant. read more

This was the best McDonalds I have been to, We were just stopping for a quick bite and go and they had this thing called CYT (Create Your Taste) where you make your own burger on a screen. They don't have any mcdonalds where I am from that do this so we tried it and that burger was the best fast food burger I have had. The staff was also super friendly and they even served the meals to us at our table, it was a whole new experience at a mcdonalds that we had never had before. read more

Stop here a lot when traveling back and forth from Springfield, MO to Florida - usually for breakfast. Never had a problem until May 30, 2013. It's 9 p.m. and we've been driving 18.5 hours when I decide I need to stop for some fries. I am standing behind another couple who orders a full meal, then I order my fries. While I'm waiting I can see the fry station perfectly. The girl who took the order puts some fries into a container and up on their fry stand. Some new fries finish, she takes them out, puts them into 2 containers, then gives the new fries to the people who ordered ahead of me. Then she tries to give me the old fries. I told her I wanted some fresh fries because I saw her put them in a container, then put them aside and give the new fries to the other people. She says ok, and starts new fries. Remember, I am still standing where I can see the fry station perfectly. A manager comes over and asks her why those fries are sitting there and she tells the manager they are old. The manager whispers something to the girl and throws the old fries back into the area they salt them, then the new fries get thrown on top of them. I just took my fries, and left, but I don't imagine I'll be back except to use the bathroom. And, I have told several people I know who travel a lot to Memphis and Kentucky for business and pleasure who also stop there my experience. I'm sure this happens at other McDonalds, but did you have to do it in front of someone who can see everything that is going on? Like I said, will not be back except for the bathroom - not even for breakfast. I can stop in Thayer or Poplar Bluff if I really want McDonalds. read more

My order was wrong, and what I did get was cold. When I complained to a manager, she was rude. Then another manager came over and was even worse telling me that I didn't place the order correctly. When she walked away, the crew member told me the managers were sisters that I was dealing with. She also told me there was a crew trainer that was their cousin who had been involved with an underage employee and all of the adult management knew about it and did nothing. How is that impartial to the customer or morally correct? They gave me the rest of my order, which was still incorrect and I left. I didn't want to continue being treated poorly. Then I called the store and tried to talk to the Store Manager. She was even worse. She yelled at me. I will tell everyone I know about my experience. read more
