Every time that I order a sauce there they charge us and almost never give it to us. Then when I go back in to ask for it they give me attitude and hastily hand it to me. They are also uncleanly and nasty. read more

Things seemed out of sorts here in regards to the staff. They all seemed in disarray insofar as taking orders and getting the food. The manager was no help as she was shouting across the entire restaurant having a conversation with another customer. Thankfully it didn't effect the food and we enjoyed our egg McMuffins, but we'd probably think twice about coming back. read more

New owners? Same garbage!!! It's always something with this place. Whether it's cold food, waiting forever at the drive-thru, food that looks like it was stepped on, or food missing stuff like cheese, ketchup and/or pickles, it's always something! Ughh. Never have I hated eating at McDonald's so much. I was in town for a wedding so my wife and I stopped here for breakfast. Apparently they have just remodeled as the sign outside said "Lobby now open." When we walked in, three employees including a manager said hello but didn't offer to take my order. Upon seeing my quizzical response, she walked over to a large touch screen in the middle of the lobby and explained that this was where customers placed their orders, sort of like Sheetz. She actually did it for us, which is good because there was no way to order what I wanted with the computer program they had (sausage McMuffin with folded egg instead of round egg). I was a McDonald's manager in a previous life so I know exactly how the computer ordering screens work. Asking customers to do it is a stupid idea. They are much slower than trained employees and that is a big problem during heavy volume times. Mistakes are difficult to correct, leading to starting over or orders submitted with mistakes. The menus aren't obvious to new people. What is being ignored is that the prices are staying the same (or perhaps going up) but the customer is now doing the work that the employees used to do! The manager here was very helpful but the experience was annoying. I hope this isn't the future of McDonalds. read more

The worst location in the franchise. Slow service last night waited 45 mins for our food. When we went to ask about it wasn't even started. Talking with other customers who were also waiting they had been waiting for 30+ mins as well. In our time waiting multiple driver thru customers were coming in with orders that were wrong. We got our money back and left. read more

Horrible! Got Covid? When you pull up to the drive thru there is a sign that says you must wear a mask. As I pulled up the the pay window the young kid did have a mask on.....his chin, and of course no gloves! When I got to the food pickup window the young girl did NOT have a mask on and was NOT wearing gloves! Watching her stick her uncovered hands IN the drink cups to separate them was very disgusting! Food was very sub-par, board of health should definitely pay a visit! Stay away in Montrose, PA! read more

At 2:30 PM on a Tuesday afternoon I waited 15 minutes in the drive through line to place and receive an order. The staff member that served the order had LONG artificial fingernails which is a violation of one of the basic food safety rules particularly important in this time of COVID. After driving away I realized the order received was missing the beverage and the main food item was missing. When I tried to return the order I was expected to go back and sit in the drive through line. When I finally received my order the food was flattened in the bottom of the bag. read more

Sitting in the drive thru watching one guy handle the front counter and the drive thru. Cars backed up to the street. Getting close to 40 minutes waiting. People are abandoning the line. It's apocalypse now. read more

Soso experience. Fries were mediocre, soda was all carbonation, the two employees I interacted with were miserable, but the nuggets saved the show. The nuggets were the best nuggets I've ever had, I've never had a nugget that fresh. Props to the nugget, it single-handedly earned the four-star the. #nuggettotherescue read more

Zero stars. Unfortunately this is the only close to go place for my kids when running around. Each time I bring them they are out of certain food. Don't bother asking for a salad. You HAVE to use the kiosk, they won't take your order. My Oder is never filled properly. The food is usually stale or cold. And let's not talk about the odor if you go in. Smells of sewage strong in the restroom and instead of fixing it, the one stall (likely the issue) is locked. So then that also leaves you with 1 stall. Forget the drive through. Usually a wait time of 20 minutes or more. No joke. Skip this place. read more

Agree with all the 1 star reviews. Sat in drive thru for far too long. Finally placed order and when ask "what would you like to drink", she then stated the soda machine was down. Well that was fine, I wanted a milk shake anyway. Then I was told they weren't doing milk shakes either. I just said "never mind" and pulled out. Just tried again this morning. Guess what. This has got to be the slowest McDonald's ever! You can try going inside to order but be prepared to wait for 20-25 minutes for your order to be up. Are you thinking drive through has got to be faster? Not a chance! The normal wait there is 20 minutes. The concept of "fast food" is lost in this establishment. When you do finally receive your order expect it to be cold. If I'm going to be served cold food why does it take so long? I could understand if the place was packed with people, but this is the norm for McDonalds in Montrose. I have been there several times (it's convenient & I keep hoping it will get better) but not once has my order been 1. fresh 2. fast 3. warm 4. complete. read more

Never seen a McDonalds like this. Cool architecture and very friendly (and fast) staff. Every town needs a McDonalds and when I'm visiting Montrose, this is always a treat to visit. read more

Terribly slow considering the amount of staff they have compared to the amount of customers they have especially around lunch time. Takes AT LEAST a half hour to get your food. I complain as a person who has worked in this industry before in a busier restaurant with almost half the staff and we got product out in 5 min from time of order. I visit my parents who live up here, and since this McDonald's is the only place in town, I frequent it. I usually eat breakfast there. The breakfast crew is very friendly. I usually wait at most 2 minutes, for my hot delicious Steak Bagel (breakfast sandwich of the gods) value meal, usually with a second hashbrown and another sandwich so I don't have to eat again until dinner. This is the only gig in town, folks, aside from a Subway. But it's also quite good. Their coffee is great too! read more

Normally this is a terrific Mc D's & as a local I come here often. This review just refers about two 'managers' who shouldn't have the status. The one was in early Feb near 8PM when she showed ill regards to customers eating their meals. She joyfully carried on a conversation holding the door wide open and feeling every bit 'empowered' with her position and 'uniform' while the customers were feeling the bitter cold wind blowing on them. Their dirty looks had no effect. Today, after a little annoyance with a woman who parked across 4 near the entrance parking spaces while her kids skateboarded, I entered my order at the kiosk as I BELIEVED they now require us to do. I approached the cashier when another customer just stepped in front of me and said "I can order a coffee here right?" The blond manager seeing my ticket in hand but not in his said yes. Now instead of excusing him and saying "Yes you may, just let me complete the gentleman's order behind you. He's already ordered" , this guy starts his 'coffee' order with a list of other dollar menu items and his preferences of them. After the parking lot fiasco I was now pissed at her for allowing others to jump the line for service. Do not expect me to make my orders anymore from the kiosk. And I suggest everyone else who wants their rightful place in line to do the same. read more

I just read the review above, from 10/30/2011. Well I was there yesterday, exactly 3 years later (10/30/2014) and it is still the slowest, most disorganized McDonalds. I did not buy anything, I grew tired of waiting and walked out. I only wanted a gift card, but after waiting in the lobby nearly 15 minutes, watching people come to the door, look in and walk away, and the line seem to go nowhere while the people behind the counter seemed to be the clueless about organization or how to be efficient, I just left empty handed, and many others did the same....this restaurant is a disgrace even to McDonalds standards! read more

Expect extremely long waits, unfriendly employees, and incorrect orders. One of the worst McDonald's I've encountered anywhere.
