This McDonald's is very disappointing as far and food and service goes. I don't think they know how to cook because the burger I got was still raw in the middle. The service is slow as well. And what is bad is if you want to report them to corporate, you really can't because this McDonald's is a privately owned franchise using the McDonald's name which means there isn't much corporate can do. If you do try to eat here, I suggest cutting your burger open to make sure it is fully cooked. This isn't the first time I got a raw burger either. But this will be the last time I eat their food. read more

Already prepared for the long wait, but when you only receive one, of the two ,Sausage and cheese muffins, and the one you got was missing the sausage!!! It was a muffin with only cheese on it. Their saving grace here, and the only reason they got two stars, is that the employees are nice. They're polite. And that's about the only positive, Christian thing I could say about this place. I usually avoid this place like the plague unless I'm desperate. Today, I'm desperate. Daughter had a stomach bug, so my cooking was almost nil this weekend. So here I am, after dropping her off. I ordered a medium hazelnut iced coffee, McDouble, no seasoning (they use a salt and pepper blend; I only use pepper), only pickle and onions. I eyed a dirty dining room. Sigh. To go. Iced coffee was good. I asked for light ice, and back off the hazelnut and cream to half of their normal serving. This was perfect. The burger? Not so much. Raw. Very pink. I ordered a McDouble, without a side of salmonella. Also, there were no onions. I went back in, asked for a quarter pounder with cheese, plain. "What?" "Cheese and burger, slap it on a bun and call it a day, please. Thanks!" "Ahh...oh. So, just cheese? Got it!" I figured maybe with the Quarter Pounders being advertised as hotter and juicier, that I had a fairly good chance of not having to name my burger which was still grazing in the pasture. Finally, it arrived, exactly as I asked. Unfortunately, this is not the first time my or my daughter's order have been incorrect. They're pretty consistent as far as that goes here. This has got to be the slowest drive thru of all the McDonald's franchises. There has never been a time that I've been here and not waited at least 15 minutes. The place seems to be desperately understaffed and mismanaged. Even when there isn't a line of cars that stretches to Main Street, the service remains incredibly slow. Most times I remove myself from the line and order in the dining room, still slow but seems better than waiting in the car for so long. I wish there were other "fast" food options in Monongahela so I could take my business elsewhere. read more

Tried going through the drive through at 11:42 as they close at midnight and was craving a McChicken, we sat there and waited for 3 minutes and when there was no one taking our order we drove around and the place was empty. I'm unsure why this location has such poor reviews. First of all, when we were there, the drive thru line was wrapped the whole way around the building. This prompted me to go inside. I had a car full of hungry kids. The inside was also jam-packed. I had a list the kids wanted to order. The line moved quickly, my order was taken. I got my food promptly, and everything was correct and hot. It's no five start, upscale restaurant, but the food was good, for what it is. The staff was friendly. The place was even clean as far as I can see for how busy it was. Best mc d's in the MonValley as far as I'm concerned! Keep up the good work! read more

It's McDonald's, and not a very good one at that. For 25 years, I've ordered my burgers the same way. No onions, no pickles. Half the time, the order has been screwed up, resulting in having to go back for the correct item. It's driven me insane over the years. read more

This has to be the most profitable McDonald's in the entire U.S. of A. Let me explain, time and time again I go to this McDonald's, and get let down because I'm always short on my order. Anything from a whole ass burger to the drink and it adds up. 3.00 dollars here 4 dollars there. Now some of you would say "check your bags" but that's not the point. I shouldn't have too. They get paid to put my stuff in there. But whatever if you want to get disappointed after a long day, there is no better place to go than this McDonald's. Also, don't get me started on the fries. They were undercooked probably so they can save oil and cook more faster just farther boosting their already very profitable business. Again, I'm not mad just disappointed. This location is frequently closed for hours at a time during the night on Friday and Saturday when they are supposed to be open. Also; as is typical of McDonald's the orders are almost always incorrect. It's their high volume business model... they can afford to have terrible service and stay in business. This location is no different. Pro-tip: never order anything differently than how it normally comes, you are asking for them to make mistakes, and they will, even on something as easy as omitting lettuce from a sandwich which seems quite simple. read more

I'm very surprised that someone hasn't gotten sick or died from the consistently undercooked meat. The last 3 times I've gotten a double quarter pounder with woefully undercooked burgers. I understand that this is a "busy" location and " that will happen sometimes" but I've been there when I was the only one inside and only a few cars at the drive thru and gotten home to a mouthful of raw burger. And even if you order it straight off the menu they still make mistakes, for example you would expect to have mushrooms on the mushroom Swiss burger you ordered but..... surprise!! If you want McDonalds take the ride to Belle Vernon, I would recommend the Monongahela McDonalds only if you HAVE to. read more

I can not understand why this McDonalds is still in business. The orders are never correct. I go when I am desperate and I instantly regret my decision. 2 days ago, was one of those days. I spent my entire lunch break waiting in line, mind you I work maybe 1/2 a block away. To my surprise(not really) when I arrived back at my office to now eat because I was already running over on time for my break they didn't put the damn ketchup in the bag...again...I'm not sure how this place even qualified for the ridiculous amount of renovation that was done to it. Bonus though.. they added in 2 whole "we take too long to make your food" windows so you aren't backing up the rest of the lines. This is the worse McDonald's in the history of worse fast food restaurants. I legit could of drove all the way to belle Vernon got that same order and would of been on time for work.
