I dont work to far from this location and i come here maybe every other to every 2 days to get either breakfast or dinner and there has been maybe 1 or 2 times that my order came out fine. But most of the time i have to say something about my order may it be cold food or my burger made wrong or whatever but tonight everything was bad. The fries were cold, the burger was 1. Made wrong 2. It was barely luke warm, the drink i got was warm because there were like 6 ice cubes in it. And The outside of the drive thru smelled like a foot from WW2 that had trench foot because of all the food and trash that people dump out... do better McDonald's. This McDonald's location is near my house so I go quite a bit. The absolute worst one I think I've ever been to. Gets worse every time I go. If you go inside it takes 20 mins for someone to finally come to the register. If you go through the drive through I hope you don't have anything else to do for the day. read more

Must be a glutton for punishment. Placed app order for breakfast. Arrived at 1023. Parked in spot 4 and app would allow me to select spot number. Went through drive through and waited 18 minutes to be told that breakfast was over and my order was cancelled. Was also told that since it was canceled, I wouldn't be charged. Guess what - I was charged $26. Now I am dealing with customer service that is sending form letters through email telling me I should receive a refund email if I didn't pick up the order. I'm telling these nuts that I was charged, it's posted to my account and the app appears to show that I received my order. This is pure BS at this point. You order and sit in line for 20 minutes before any car moves then wait another 20 minutes for the next one. The food is never right, they will pull you up because they need to make fries and you watch 5 or 6 orders go out and your still waiting. Ordered a 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal for my son, and they put a bunch of mayonnaise in the container with no chicken nuggets.....Never asked for that, we are super confused. Who just puts a bunch of mayo in a chicken nugget container?? No chicken nuggets in the bag, we didn't even want any sauce in general. I'm going to take you on a journey, bear with me as I paint a beautiful, one star picture for you. Imagine you're laying in bed after a long day, you work, bust your butt for another dime to buy some McDonald's. As you lay in your bed, you begin to think, "man, I could really go for some McDonald's right now." (You're really hungry, obviously since you're craving McDonald's, you have to have a bottomless pic the size of the Grand Canyon in your stomach for it to sound appetizing.) So you get up, strap on your worst pair of shoes to walk through the torrential downpour that just took place, since you're in southern Alabama. Get in the car and turn the key, the starter sends a fantastic electrical surge to your spark plugs to ignite all four cylinders of your Ford Focus. You think to yourself, "man, nothing could go wrong! Everything is going pretty well!" You drive 20 mins to McDonald's, place your order for you and the family, everything is going well thus far. You order a hefty, freshman fifteen sort of meal for the family, and a cheeseburger plain with extra pickles for your picky eating fiancée. After ordering, you pull up to the first window to pay, immediately you know something's wrong because she asked if you were the fellah with the fish filet. You promptly, but politely tell her no, and explain your order. Everything is fixed and you pull to the second window. Now this is where things get messy. They hand you the bag, and your picky eating fiancée recognizes her plain burger isn't in the bag and asks you to step inside and have a word with their manager. So you walk inside, again, politely correct them, and they hand you your burger. You drive all the way home, your picky eating fiancée says it isn't plain. You're upset. You begin to think about the pros and cons of your McDonald's trip, which is heavily outweighed on the cons side. You got dinner for the family, but now you have a fiancée who's hangry, your Grand Canyon of a stomach has passed to a fiery volcanic anal canal due to your Big Mac. I would highly recommend if you're hungry, and in the area, stop at the Walmart across the street and eat some of their dog food before making a quick nascar pit stop at this McDonald's. read more

Seriously, they could care less about you and your meal, they want you to get out of their drive thru, and their shift to end. I'm writing this review in the hope that it will save another customer a similar experience. Do not visit this McDonald's. Do not. The owners apparently do not care enough about this restaurant to invest the smallest amount of customer care into thier employees. McDonald's corporation should pull the franchise license from this owner and refuse to allow them to operate another location. I'm also planning to write the corporate office headquarters. They need to know the experiences people are having here. I waited 17 minutes for 1 hamburger, 2 mc chicken sandwiches, 1 fry, and 1 drink. I sat and sat at the window after I paid and was never given my drink while I waited. They consistently pulled cars up to the front, and alternated employees to tell people to pull up. After 25 minutes of waiting up front, I went inside, asked to speak to a manager, and told them I wanted my $15 back. I gave the receipt, and one lady asked me what it was I was waiting for. I said it is rediculious that someone waits 25 minutes for 3 sandwiches, a fry, and a drink....Im waiting on my $15. There were about 7-8 customers in the building sitting around, I'm not sure anyone had any food. I'm not sure what was going on in there. I worked in the food service industry for 5 years, my father was in the business for 28 years, and I work at a large corporation who deals directly with customer service daily. People need to Quit supporting these owners. The franchise should be transferred to someone who will actually care about the customer and improve the operations for the community. There is a second McDonald's owned by the same people just down the road on Hwy 98 by Godfathers pizzeria near the Waffle House. Do not expect any different results there. This is so rediculious it is sad. Visit the 2 locations in West Mobile instead- they are operated by the Barnes Family and you can tell the difference. I don't know them, I've never met them, but they take pride in operating these locations. They can have all my money, I will gladly go out of my way to support them over the Semmes and Overlook McDonald's. read more

Went through drive through on way through town. While in line our son decides he has to use the restroom. Women's restroom has two stalls one was out of order and the other had no toilet paper. There was also no soap in the one and only soap dispenser in the restroom. How do employees wash their hands if there is no soap...... read more

Worst place I have been In my life. Went the other day and waited for 10 min and no answer for me or any of the cars in front of me ... everyone hopped out of line and went across the street to Burger King. Tried again last night and no answer at the window for 10 min again so I just went home. My wife tried again tonight. Again no answer for a long time, and people again left the line because of the wait. Got to the window and the girl was rude and they completely got our order wrong, and the large fry maybe had a small fries worth in it. I went to this location at 3am. I would not recommend it. I pulled up to the box and sat for what seemed like five minutes. Someone came on the speaker and said, Hello." I replied, "Yes." He then told me to pull around to the window. As I began to drive to the window, he said, "Hello" and told me the same thing again. When I got to the window, I noticed two workers, a man and woman. The man took my order. I ordered two large fries with the burgers and nuggets for my guests. The man went to prepare my order, when I heard the woman yell, "I told you not to make more fries, use those; she will be alright!" I received my order and noticed there were two medium and two small fries in the bag. I got it home and the fries were totally inedible. I tasted one...horrible. My friends tasted some...horrible. They were old, cold, and left a terrible after taste in our mouths. I tried to call to speak with a manager later in the day, but I was hung up on. When I called back the line was busy. My wife, and I ate there this past Friday. We had regular cheeseburgers, and fries. Well needless to say it is Monday, and we are both still sick! We knew the food tasted a little weird, but were in a hurry trying to get ready for our daughters 1st birthday party Saturday. Saturday morning we both woke up extremely sick to our stomach. Drive thru has 2 lines but they do all the cars on the inside then do the ones on the outside, they don't know how to alternate, once I pay then they tell me to pull up , which someone was already there , so they tell me to pull over in the parking lot, which I did, then they started filling the parking lot with drive thru customers because of the slow service.
