We showed up to one with a free bounce house, classic cars, fantastic local vendors, and the star of the show was definitely Smooth Bean! The coffee shop itself offered free candy, toys, and crafts for the kids as part of the event. But on a regular basis, they have an amazing IG worthy selfie wall as well as toys for little kids and games for families to use. The menu is family friendly too! My kids can't have caffeine due to health conditions so I love that they have several blended drinks that are caffeine free as well as craft Italian soda type options that they were willing to create from scratch for them! My kids went with the Double Chocolate blended drink and my husband tried the blended Vanilla caffeine free one and they all said they were incredible! I was shocked at how gorgeous and well crafted they were for the price compared to the corporate coffee shops and even told them their prices might be too low! My dad ordered the Classic Combo and added a side of grits. He is pretty particular about his breakfast, particularly the balance of the value vs the taste, quality and quantity (as one should be) and he raved about his meal and whole Jimmy's Egg experience, especially their grits and sausage. The next day, I returned to the store, expecting a straightforward resolution as a long-time customer who consistently orders watermelon tea. When asked for a receipt, which I did not have, the manager, Lorraine Cobos (GM09), informed me it couldn't be their mistake because everything is labeled Copy uested the last four digits of my credit ca. -,. provided them. She then claimed that my last visit was in March, despite my visit the previous day. I showed her my bank statement to prove otherwise. Which she saw and then scoffed at. Despite all of this, she refused to replace my tea and berated me in front of her staff, using me as a learning opportunity by saying it was my responsibility to check if I received the correct tea and that's why they label them like they do. I know what | ordered. I only ever order watermelon tea. You have a great product and concept, and I am confident in your success. However, I strongly recommend reviewing the customer service skills of your general managers. As a GM myself, I was appalled by Ms. Cobos' actions and believe her treatment of guest warrants serious consideration and perhaps additional training.
