I'll spare you the details, but it really didn't inspire me. On our last night at 1:13am in Paris, the Golden Arches were there like a lighthouse in a storm. We walked in with a bottle of red wine, ordered a small feast on the little touch screen, and walked upstairs to take a seat. We got a 20 piece nuggets (obviously), a couple hamburgers, large fries, a McCrispy for the plot, and 2 Mcflurrys. I ask one question to you, my dear reader, is anything in life as consistent as a McDonalds 20 piece nuggets? They just don't miss. Between crisp bites of these golden nuggets dunked in a black pepper sauce that we don't have in the states, I got a little sentimental. Nothing has seen me in every stage of my life like a 20 piece nug has. They've been there for me between games of middle school basketball tournaments, they were there at my absolute lowest when my first girlfriend shattered my heart into a million pieces, and they were there in the bed of a truck in Palos Verdes when me and my homies were enjoying our last days in our hometown before heading off to our respective colleges. They've seen my professional career go from production to accounting to real estate brokerage to tech sales. They've seen me pick up and put down countless hobbies: basketball, guitar, writing, a kombucha company, drums, video production, a podcast, voice lessons, making food videos, etc. If everything else in life is changing, the 20 piece nuggets are always the same. I got the chipotle chicken avocado warm sandwich and it wasn't totally bad. Only negatives were that the avocado was not fully ripe at all to the point where when I would bite it, it was hard. And the bacon was not crisped to my liking. Other than that the chipotle sauce and the chicken on the sandwich were pretty good. My family had a decent sized order (4 sandwiches) and it took only about 10-15 minutes to be ready which I don't think is bad. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

We had to stand in line again to get a receipt which was annoying. The workers were actually very nice considering how crazy that location is. We did have to wait awhile to get the fries but they were hot and delicious. The restaurant was pretty much a wreck but the amount of volume they do is mind blowing. The burger patty was moist and a little pink in the middle. The other burger we got was the onion burger. While the grilled onions were delicious, the onion ring inside was a disappointment. It was soggy, not crispy at all and really just added a mushy texture to the whole burger. The bun was just a dry bread but at least the patty was well cooked. They both came with fries that were also better compared to the ones inside the park. They didn't have sauces like ranch so we had to eat the fries with ketchup and mustard. There was a special where you can get a burger and a brownie for a set price so we did that. The brownie was a nice slice with a large scoop of ice cream. It was nothing extraordinary but a nice dessert after a huge meal. Service was fine. Nothing amazing but nothing to complain about either. They had an English menu and spoke both English and French. I would definitely recommend eating here over someone in the park.
