I am posting to this to let everyone know DO NOT go to the McDonald's on second street in Manchester, New Hampshire. My son was playing with a few friends on the indoor playground and when he went down the slide he came out covered in human feces. My first instinct as a mother was to of course get this off of my sons skin immediately. I sat there in the bathroom rinsing my son off with only water because the soap dispenser was empty. (My friends daughter had already kindly let the staff know that there was no soap in the restroom.) Now as a manager you would think they would offer some kind of assistance (paper towels or soap) but instead I got ignored. I then saw the parents of the little boy carrying their child that was covered in Sh*t out of McDonald's and I confronted them about just leaving human SHIT behind and not even acknowledging what just occurred. The dad stated that he can't take responsibility for it. Mind you this same little boy was not supervised while we were eating because my friend had to go get the parents in the play area because the child walked out of the playground and into the lobby going out the back door barefoot. While I was confronting the parents my friend was told by the "manager" "oh if she's yelling at us she can get out of here." I was finally given some napkins but was still only using water to basically bathe my son in the sink in the restroom at this point.. I then went and asked for the manager and stated how pathetic it was that there was no soap offered and that it had already been reported prior to this that there was NO SOAP available for customers to wash their hands with. While I was at the counter all of the employees were laughing and arguing about who should clean up the play area. I went back to the bathroom to change my sons clothes and was finally given some soap by one of the girls who worked there (10 minutes later) ... after he was all cleaned up I went and asked for the names of the people working because I was going to call corporate. The manager laughed and said "call them this is McDonald's they aren't going to do anything" I said really you're a great manager what's your name again. I then proceeded to leave and carry my son to the car because he was barefoot and soaking wet when all of a sudden the young girl who handed me the soap was sent out by the manager to tell me to "pick up my tray" I then went back in McDonald's and said so you can send someone out to my car to tell me to pick up a tray but couldn't bring me soap? The girl standing to the left of the manager said you're a mother pick up the shit yourself and I was a called a fu*king b*tch and told to pick up my tray and set a good example for my kid. I would like to spread attention and awareness about this because if there is no soap how do employees wash their hands? No one went to clean or close the playground area or closed off the bathroom I used which is now contaminated. This has been reported to the proper authorities. My son has open cuts/scrapes from playing outside obviously seeing as it is summer that is pretty common in my opinion. My child complained that one or some of his cuts on his leg were burning after the HUMAN FECES was all over him and I am now sitting in an ER to have him checked for any illness he may have caught from this disgusting incident. I'm genuinely surprised that this place hasn't been shut down yet, either by the health department or just due to their atrociously slow service. Make this place your absolute last resort if you need a fast food fix. read more

So there's a snowstorm today and I am hungry from sitting in traffic, so I pull in to this McDonalds like I have done so many times before because its hit and miss with the slow service. (Have ordered and driven off many times, Its not lunch time and nobody is in the dining room so why does it take so friggin long) Today though I ordered a Filet-o- Fish and Fry's. The bag of food was waiting for me before I could even pay, there was a hand sticking out at the second window. I drive up and this creepy little thing with fangs and metal studs sticking out of her nose and head hands me my food while giving me this death stare as I drove off. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY HIRE SHITBAGS LIKE THIS. But these days you have to hire these freaks of nature because of discrimination laws. So I'm driving down the road and grab for my sandwich, pull it out and the bun is cold and near hard. I took a bite and said nope and threw out the window. I called the store and talked to the manager, he was obviously going to be nice and said come back we will cook you up a new sandwich. I said no. I was at the BROWN AVE store getting another one that was perfectly made. I'm done with the POORLY RUN 2nd street McDonalds. read more

Reliable service, good food and hardworking staff. Compared to other chains this place is great. It's truly horrifying how bad some other places can be, which goes to show this is well run. read more

I came into the lobby to order and I was appalled at what I witnessed inside. All trash was overflowing, the drink station an absolute mess, the counter top at fc was messy and the floors and lobby were riddled with trash. If I could attach a picture I would. I would be absolutely embarrassed if this was my store. I will say though a gentleman named Andrew was very nice and quickly cleaned up the fc where I was leaning because it was gross and he was the only one that made my experience end on a good note. On a side note I did come though drive thru Monday night around 9pm and witnessed a young girl sitting Indian style on the front counter right in the view of the dt window which I found to be very unsanitary. Usually I don't complain but after seeing the disaster I did this morning I thought it would be best to mention something. read more

What a dump. Came in for dinner around 9pm last night. Every single table was dirty. Not a single person in the dining room. Went to the bathroom and almost puked. Urine smell was so strong it made my eyes water. Floor was wet, soap dispenser was empty , toilet paper and rubbish all over the floor. Several employees sitting at a table talking loudly and cursing. Went to the counter and was waited on by what looked to be the manager who had a serious attitude and was rude. Food was fresh but the soda and condiment area was disgusting. Ketchup was empty, soda splashed all over the place, wet napkins on the counter and floors and rubbish all over the place. Ended up cleaning off a table myself while the manager glared at me from behind the counter, I think she wanted me up leave. Eating and listening to the staff tell jokes and curse and carry on was actually entertaining though. I cannot believe a McDonalds could be run so poorly. This was by far the filthiest McDonalds I've ever been too. I usually go to the one on brown ave. but it's been closed for construction this week. Avoid this armpit at all costs. read more

It seems that this franchise does not care about what is on the menu. For several weeks we have gone in for food and tried to order a shake only to be told that the machine is down. That excuse may work for some who do not patronize this location however that is in my opinion just that, an excuse. Spend the money and get a new machine. It baffles me that McDonald's corporate does not force this franchise to meet standards. What has happened to duplication. read more

I used to go here occasionally when I lived on the south end of Elm St. This place was always a disappointment. I used to eat McD's all the time, at least a couple times a week. I haven't eaten at McD's in at least 3 years. I remember one of my last times eating McD's was at this place. I got the worst fries ever; I'm not someone who brings stuff back, but I lived so close and was really looking forward to the fries, so I drove back and went through the drive though and told them. Instantly someone stuck their hands out holding some fries, so I drove by and took them and went on my way. I get home and these things were even worse than the previous ones, by far the worst fries I have ever had. They were even more petrified than the ones sitting under my car seat, completely inedible. I've joked with friends when I tell this story and say those must have been fries that were kept around to give to a complaining customer. I started to notice a decline at all McD's with both their food and service and decided I'm through with their overpriced, low quality food. read more
