I've worked in quick service before, and those last-minute drive-thru guests can really disrupt the closing routine--so I hated being "that guy," but I was absolutely starving. Raising Cane's is one of my favorites back home, and getting it after such a rough travel day felt like a small gift. What made this stop truly stand out, though, was the staff. Even with ten minutes left before closing, they were cheerful, kind, and welcoming. If they were frustrated by my late-night arrival, they never showed it. Instead, I was greeted by a smiling team member who handed me hot, fresh chicken that absolutely hit the spot. Their attitude turned the end of my day around.
