When your toddler wakes up at 6AM asking for hashbrowns, I had to make a mad dash to McDonald's as most breakfast places within the area don't even open until 7-7:30AM. The drive thru was dead, and the staff seems to be less enthused. Got my food without any issues and my custom items were correct. Bad service!! I just went their and their was this young lady that had her eyeliner in black and was skinny that took out order and I asked for a caramel macchiato cold and she gave me a hot one when I tried to return it she gave me a disgusted face and said I never asked for a cold one. One star. Not only was the girl on her phone when I was supposed to be paying, but she was on her phone the whole 5 minutes that I was at the window. Every time i go to this Mcdonald's there is always something weird going on. On todays trip to Mcdonald's, I watched the manager Kayla disrespect a much younger employee. it's clear that this mcdonalds runs their chain like a chop shop. I think that McDonalds is doing a good job. I see someone commenting by the name of @Gary P. and I would just like to correct him. They call it fast food because it is made fast and normally done ahead of time. But when they don't have that food ready, they have to make it new. They have to wait for it to be done, as do you. As for your comment about the person in front of you, that is not McDonalds fault. If someone is taking 15 minutes to order, that is their fault, not the corporations. Every time I come through the drive-thru I have to pull over and wait 5 minutes. What is the point of having fast food drive-thru if people have to sit and wait because you don't have food prepared? I hope that this store can improve on kitchen readiness and have better customer service because both are terrible. Ple This place continues to get worse. Walked in at 10:30 on a Sunday morning, ordered an Egg McMuffin and waited over 20 minutes for it to arrive. Worth mentioning is that there were only 2 other people in the whole place. Now, when you look at the name McDonald's on Yelp you see two things in addition to the name, "fast food" & "burgers". In the morning there are no burgers but there are Egg McMuffins. Matter of fact, I would go so far as to say that the proverbial Egg McMuffin is, popularity wise in the morning, what the hamburger is the rest of the day. So why the 20 minute plus wait? I have no frigging idea. It certainly wasn't fast and, some might argue that it's not food but I love them. However, I love them when I don't have to wait 20 minutes to get my mouth around one. I went to my local McDonald's to get my four children food. So I walked in, ordered, and got my food. I walked back to my car and drove home. We waited until we arrived home to eat. When we got home I unloaded the bag and my order was severely messed up. I order 4 small fries and 3 four piece McNuggets. I ended up with 4 small fries, 1 four piece McNugget, and a random sausage McGriddle. So now my children get to eat one nugget each. Great. I also bet that some other frustrated customer is missing their McGriddle. McDonald's employees want a higher pay? Well they should probably start by doing their jobs right. We went to McDonald's this morning for breakfast we ordered A sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle, 1 order of hot cakes, 1 hash brown, and a burrito. Currently in the drive through. It is without fail that I wait at LEAST 10-15 minutes. Some times I am the only person in the line, and most days all I get is a coffee or a special drink. I have eaten here several times in the last week and each visit has been absolutely terrible. The night-time drive-thru employee cannot understand orders and can barely read, making ordering at the drive up incredibly frustrating and difficult. When I expressed my frustration to the manager after having my order placed wrong, she was giving me attitude & causing a scene about fixing the order. I had asked if it where possible to substitute the Big Macs in the Family Deal Box for another sandwich, they said no and it wasn't a problem, I ordered the regular dinner box and said I wanted 2 McDoubles on the side. It caused a problem, the drive-up employee pitched a fit, saying they just told me I couldn't substitute the sandwiches & that I was being difficult. I proceeded to explain that I didn't want the McDoubles substituted in the box, I just wanted them on the side. When I received my order, I had gotten the regular Family deal Box like i ordered, but was missing my 2 McDoubles, they weren't even placed on my receipt because the illiterate & very rude cashier couldn't understand or read the register. A few days later I go back because I wanted some breakfast McMuffins after work so I stop. It was the same two people at the window, so ordering was once again a huge hassle. They where taking 1 car at a time, not taking my order until the car in front of me had ordered, payed, and received their food. All of my eggs where green and the burritos where made at 11AM. Unacceptable. I am very dissatisfied, I work hard to afford this food and I don't appreciate this. All of the fast food places in Manahawkin are like this, it's ridiculous. I have received no compensation from the managers or cooperate, if I could rate 0 stars I would. Hands down the worst McDonald's I've ever ordered from, it's a miracle if you can eat the food you pay for from here, EVERY TIME I get my food home it's either wrong or old/rotten. I've visited this restaurant several times in the past 8 years. It's never good. My household refers to thus as the "nasty" McDonalds. I'm writing this review now because I just visited this restaurant after leaving the movie theater next to it. I ordered a quarter pounder only to get home and find that it was raw in the middle. Today I ordered a ten piece nugget meal with Buffalo sauce for my son. They gave us the wrong sauce. I ordered a quarter ponder meal without onions. I had onions. I called to let them know. They asked if I could come back. I was not able to. I offered to send a photo of the onions on my burger. She said just bring the burger back. On the rare occasion something like this happens, they normally put your name in a book. I said you should bring me the food. I have to store a burger until said time I'm able to go back? They're nuts. I will not be back because she said it was a policy. I will go to Burger King. FYI your fries are always cold and nasty. read more

This McDonald's is by far one of the smallest that I have been in so you might want to avoid bringing a group here. The restaurant was dirty and the food was about the average food you expect from McDonald's. If you go just a bit further down the road you can find much better options and I would definitely recommend that you drive on by and skip this particular McDonald's. read more
