Sad to see this. On Friday night I took my niece to McDonald's for a cheeseburger and fries. We sat in line for 10 minutes before we were even able to order. The girl that took the order and our money looked like she was on some serious drugs and had big red scratch marks all over her face. After paying we sat 11 more minutes to get our food. A lady got out of her car and said told us that she ordered her food 30 minutes before and had just gotten it. She said everyone in there is acting like they are on drugs dancing around. Got the food drove away and it was not even the food we ordered. Went pack and sat in line 10 more minutes. This time the girl that looked like she was on drugs taking the money was nearly laying on the register. The person that gave us the food had to make five different trips to get the food. One for the cheeseburger, one for the fries. one for the ranch dressing, one for the drink and then one for the straw. She kept saying hold on a minute. hold on a minute. I was very flustered and upset that my nine year old niece witnessed this but turned it into a lesson on avoiding using drugs. Sad to see this happen in Luray. On top of that they've never made a decent cheeseburger, I went there today at 10:50 and they said they were no longer serving breakfast when the person in front of me got their breakfast @10:49. I was desperate for a quick meal when I stopped in here recently. I did not like that there were many house flies inside the restaurant. Not sanitary. Also, there is limited seating here that works when the sun is setting. The sun was blasting through the windows. I had to sit at a table right near the registers. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I have visited this place more than 50 times and only 2 times was my order right. Those special moments are cherishable and that is seriously sad. We have a new routine where we sit at the window and check our food before driving off. The worst was when we had a wrong order 4 times on a single meal. Took 10 minutes to get a cold order. Burgers were over cooked and dry. They ran out of ketchup for burgers. Huge pieces of onion on the sandwiches. Worse fast food experience in a long time. I have been here many times and if it weren't for my kids and coupons, I wouldn't go here as much. The cashiers are very friendly, well-staffed, and I hardly ever a wait on orders. But I always have trouble when I order through the drive-thru...they ALWAYS screw up my order. My order usually consist of 1 or 2 items with certain preferences (such as no cheese). This seems easy enough to get right especially if it's rung up on the cash register and clearly stated "no cheese". But for whatever reason, the employees always seem to get it wrong. I said something to the lady at the window. I was nice about it and even stated that I'm sure that it wasn't her fault. She shut the window and let me sit there another 2 mins. before getting my $. When she did come back she gave me every excuse under the book. I explained to her that I only have 30 mins. for lunch and I have spent 30 mins. in this line and still haven't received my food.
