I've heard that…read morethey have really good wings, but I've only tried sandwiches, some apps, and a piece of pizza there. I feel like the food in general is ok. I went pretty regularly to pick up their fish sandwich. I feel like they've changed it a bit as I liked it quite a bit. It is a decent size as they serve it on a standard sized bun, but give you plenty of overhang on both sides. Their French fries are also ok. I tend to like hand it fries with the skin still on, but the fries aren't very thick and if they're over cooked at all, the skins can get tough and sort of overpower the flavor of the fries. I will say that they do offer a nice portion size on this too, and when I ordered a side of gravy, it was pretty tasty. The apps as well are ok. I've tried the provolone, potato skins, cod pieces, fried ravioli and none of them stood out as being terrible or great. The biggest thing for me is that every time I've gone, the bartenders have always been friendly and the orders have always been correct, even if I've asked for substitutions, extra tartar, etc. it's not a large place and there hasn't ever been a lot of staff any time I've gone, so I do really appreciate the effort they put in to make sure your order is right. That alone is worth an extra star to me.

I'll start off by saying that the place is very unassuming outside and we almost didn't see it. However, it's such a vibe when you walk in! The drinks are great and they have a full bar that is pretty stocked. I had their seasonal old fashioned and was pleasantly surprised by the price. My friend got a rose and was happy with her choice. They had a lot of good options on the menu and they also have their own Rye. Service was also great. We went at an off time - 230 on a Saturday, so there was plenty of space to sit. As far as the food goes, we both got the cacio e pepe because I mean, they have a huge cheese wheel there, so how can you pass that up?? We were also starving bc the cafe on the trail was randomly closed that day. She got the shrimp and I got the salmon. The proteins were cooked well and the noodles were perfectly al dente. It tasted good, however, they use cream in it and I couldn't taste any pepper. It was good, but I'd probably try something else next time. All of the food coming out looked great. I'll be back for sure!

It's probably not something that people from outside of town are going to want to go to though. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. It just means that you need to know what you're going to expect. Imagine going to a greasy spoon. Because that's exactly what this is, a greasy spoon in every way. The place is situated in an old building that probably housed 15 different businesses since it was built 100 years ago and Mass Arts is the last one that's been built there recently. They obviously have updated some of the old knob and tube with some on-wall electrical and that explains everything you need to know about the ambiance.
