The bakery had five or six different kinds of cookies packaged to go, and they were all large, thick and soft. I got a pack of chocolate chip cookies and they were quite the bomb! I also got a loaf of bread, and it was truly excellent. There were scones and other goodies you could get, too. The little store had a lot of interesting items, jams, pickles and a lot of unusual and unique goodies. Their Facebook page shows that they have sandwiches and specials like cinnamon rolls at times. They also have a drive-through. Nice place to stop. The sign says Deutches Heim, and not Busy Bean Café, but you'll be in the right place, as the deli is within this specialty market.

Both were fantastic, but the gooey butter cake completely stole the show. Hands-down, it was the absolute best gooey butter cake I have ever had--and I've tried many from plenty of bakers over the years. This single slice may have changed my outlook on life. They've set the bar so high that I honestly don't know how anyone else could top it. Warmed up just as the owner suggested, it was melt-in-your-mouth perfection with a tender, flaky crust and incredible flavor. Absolutely phenomenal.
