Something in the bag literally smelled sickening like an infection or dirty diaper. For a fish sandwich meal and chicken nugget meal it was $18.00. Ridiculous. The treatment I received from the "manager" today was appalling. I waited 5 minutes to pay for my order from the kiosk. During this time, the "manager" saw us several times but did not acknowledge us. When she finally came over, she grabbed the kiosk ticket without a word. I mentioned that it would have been polite to acknowledge us and say she'd be with us soon. Her response was, "you're entitled to your opinion." After 10 minutes, I asked for my money back. She handed the money back and said, "have a blessed day." As I was leaving, she told the next customer, "he just wasted his 10 minutes." Appalled, I came back and said I didn't appreciate her comment. She simply responded, "have a blessed day." No acknowledgment or professionalism was conveyed by this "manager." I just went to the McDonald's on Harrodsburg Road, order number 1498. Simple order big Mac meal with sweet tea. The order taker did it OK job, but when I got to the window, the young man window didn't say hi didn't greet me in anyway, and when he handed my food, didn't speak him say thank you come back nothing. I worked for Donald for three years when I was in college at the Versailles Road McDonald's and we were a model store. I don't understand how people could expect an increasing salary when they don't even do what they're supposed to do at the rate they're paid now. When I worked drive-through, I had to take the order take the money and run and get my food most of the time and my times were still under 30 seconds per car. And back then we still had to cook our food and there weren't steamer drawers to pull meat out of. Everything was made fresh. read more

My boyfriend went to get us some dinner. He ordered 20 nuggets and 2 fries. The guy working took his card without telling him how much he owed along with no receipt. We were given two mcchickens and that was it. The line was backed up around the building and the lobby was closed. There was no way to get any sort of correction or apology. I thought I had already rated this McDonalds but I usually eat at the one near where I live. We did not go inside but went through the drive through which was very efficient. Both my husband and myself ordered with our app because we usually get a deal by doing this even when going through the drive through to order. We had double cheeseburgers and fries and a drink. Everything was really good and the fries were really hot and delicious. I was very pleased with this McDonald's and the staff was very friendly. I've been to some bad McDonald's in my life but this one takes it a whole other level with the speed of a turtle and not double checking a customers food before it's served. Drive through is a nightmare after 12am. Expect to wait 20-30 for your food. This is unacceptable for a restaurant like this. It's called fast for a reason. Drive-Thru speed: VERY SLOW Care factor from employees: Poor Food: The sandwiches are poorly constructed and inconsistent. Fries are almost never fresh. This is a brand-spanking-new McDonald's opened in November 2014 and it appears they've still got some kinks to work out. When I first visited in mid-January 2015, the entire crew ranged from indifferent to surly with one manager loudly complaining about staffing issues on the telephone. Despite the fact a large sign on the road proclaims "open 24 hours," there's no indication anywhere that only the drive-thru is open all night and there are no hours posted on either the doors or the restaurant's website. I found out the lobby closes at 11 by asking a manager, but the doors were locked around 10 p.m. because they were "short-staffed" (although this didn't prevent someone from being let in later to deliver take-out from another restaurant). But they didn't screw up my order, it was fulfilled way before I died and they scored a perfect 100 on their very first health department inspection. Lots of room for improvement, but if they manage to get their personnel issues under control this could be a really good McDonald's in a great area. read more

Stopped in on this day for a delivery order for a friend. I did get myself an unsweet tea. The staff was friendly and nice. The facility was clean and busy. The drive thru was backed up to the main road. I opted to go inside. I was greeted by a friendly worker that took my order and payment quickly. As I filled my 2 drinks, my order was quickly prepared. I waited in line for 15 minutes and the workers decided on their own they wanted to close even though they don't close at 11:00. I am an Uber driver and I stopped by and got 2 filet of fish for $5 and a small fry and the fish was not very tasty I found lettuce and a pickle on one sandwich the only thing that was moderately warm was the small fry and for that I will give them only 3 stars and that is being extremely nice. read more

Took my daughter to McDonald's and ordered the same thing she always gets- 6 piece chicken nugget Happy meal. The woman in the drive thru told me they don't sell that anymore. I was so confused because we go probably once a week to one of the many in Lexington. She had no good reason whatsoever and was irritated with me for even questioning (repeatedly) when that changed. She finally said it was since yesterday. So, we left and went to another McDonald's (by the mall) and sure enough, they sell them still. However, this one messed up a simple order and I realized when we were almost home that they didn't give us the chickens tenders I also ordered and paid for. It's a McDonald's and I'm a fan of McDonald's. For those of you who think I'm a slob, let me say this... you may be right. But beside that point, I want to also say that I've lost over 70 pounds in the last eight months. Obviously, I've made some important changes in the way I eat, but it wasn't necessary to completely eschew patronizing McDonald's in order to do so. I still eat at McDonald's a few times a week. I offer this to point out that you can eat irresponsibly at McDonald's if you want to, but you can also eat reasonably healthily there, too. This store is about what you should expect. Needless to get your hopes up for fine dining, but this location does the job adequately. One thing I wish they could do is to make the beverage dispensers so that they don't spray all over your hand and wrist. read more

These were the most rude workers I've ever encountered. We were in the drive thru driving to figure out our order and asked a simple question and we're significant attitude. We then waited quite a long time for our food at the third window and we're practically thrown our food to us, with zero interaction. This is easily one of the worst McDonald I've ever been to. This store at only 2am when they are open 24/7 could not serve 7 cars in the drive through faster than 40 minutes. This includes the fact that 4 cars ign front of us left the line after ordering because they had waited so long. I doubt the food would have even been hot given the fact that we ordered it 40 minutes before we got to the window. Also the woman in the drive through once we got to the window was incredibly rude and caused us to leave without paying or getting our food after we got waited 40 minutes. I can personally say as a supervisor in a fast food restaurant not only is this not a difficult task but even when incredibly understaffed, if you're even close to mediocre at your job you will get things done in a semi reasonable amount of time. I have no idea what the night supervisors name was but this was an absolute embarrassment to working class of America, I will no longer go to mcdonalds, including other locations after this disappointing service and absolutely horrible customer service, whoever is in charge of this store, night shift or general manager does not deserve to have a job in food this is blatantly sad. read more

It has been probably 10 years since I've had a Chicken McNugget. I went to this McDonald's after I got off work. I was extremely hungry. I ordered a 20 piece nugget and a small fry. We sat in the car, waiting in line for about 5 minutes. There were maybe 3-4 cars ahead of us. When we finally got to the window, two employees were chatting inside. Finally, one of them opened the window and told us to move up. We waited 20 minutes as car after car pulled away. When the employee finally came out with my food, we asked what had taken so long. She said that the nuggets were cooking and they had a long line. We pulled away and I opened the first package of 10. They were VERY fresh and tasted excellent. Then I got to the second container. I did get 12 and 1/2 nuggets in this one, which was a plus, but they were stale tasting and lukewarm. I still ate them, but I won't be going to this McDonald's again anytime soon. read more
