Being that this is the only McDonalds in the immediate Lehigh area, this location is just an absolute mess. The parking lot is an absolute disaster. No matter how you order, you'll be waiting a long time for sure. We usually opt for curbside pickup, but even then sometimes the employees get confused between their drive thru parking spots and curbside parking spots. If you work for UberEats or DD, don't accept orders from here because I always hear them inside complaining that they've been waiting for 30+ minutes for one order, and I've seen the employees not give the drivers the order they are waiting for, for whatever reason. God forbid you had to pick up two orders and the employees lose their minds. The whole place inside and out is always packed. Lots of unhoused people in the area walking around and bothering others. I am giving 5 stars based mainly on the excellent service of a young man named Liam. My boyfriend and I went through the driveway a couple weeks ago later at night and it was busy as always, but the wait wasn't too bad. (The lady that took our money at the first window was nice as well) when we received our food, I asked for a couple packets of BBQ because my boyfriend is a weirdo and loves it on his fries (I think it's weird anyway ..) normally, in the past, the employee just turns around, gets the sauce and then hands it to me, which is fine - but Liam was above and beyond nice and smiled and said "oh absolutely! Give me just one moment" - and wished us a good evening. I want to add that at the time, I could see an older heavy set lady with short hair in a pink shirt kicking a box from behind the counter to the back area. I'm not sure if she was the manager or shift manager , the pink shirt made me think that she might be a supervisor. She wasn't yelling or anything but you could see by the look on her face she was upset and it just seemed really unprofessional to kick a box where drive through customers and inside customers could see. I thought to myself it must be pretty crappy to have a boss like that, and here was this nice gentleman saying a simple "absolutely give me a moment " kept the experience a positive one because if he had not of done that - I would only remember the lady kicking the box. I've never been to a McDonalds that employs a crew of animals who have no common sense or courtesy. This place was over staffed but yet the lines were long and the food came out cold and slow. The orders were getting mixed up, an employee was fanning herself and her hair flying all over the food area, another employee was yelling at a fellow employee and didn't care that the lobby had at least 25 people waiting to order and waiting on food. This place is a zoo and doesn't deserve 1 star. Whoever is the DM or Mgr is doing a terrible job training the staff. Half of them were walking around in circles. Your touch screens are ridiculous especially when your own staff doesn't use them while on break but instead stand in the lines shouting for someone to come take their orders.
