This small family owned restaurant in Lehigh Acres gets 5 stars from me. Small on size but big on friendliness and good food. it could stand to be a bit cleaner. The bathroom too. But it's old. Everything in there says "I have been here for awhile". And that's ok. And turn the music down a bit please. I came to eat and relax. I get it. I'm old too. Old with sensitivity to noise. That, my dear will keep me cooking at home. But seriously, if you don't like dinning inside then take some home cooked food home. Support the local, long time, hard working folks at Joes. I'm going there this morning. And while I'm at it, I might buy someone else's breakfast too. To the fine folks at Joe's- I'll see you this morning. I'm so glad you're here. Thank you for years of great service and delicious food. read more

Went there today for a late lunch. Happy to see the high ratings from others so decided to give it a try. The wait staff was busy so the chef came out and asked for our order. We both had the specials. Pulled pork sandwich was good and turkey meal fine. The chef asked if green beans were acceptible and I asked what the options were and he responded green beans! I laughed. He substituted apple sauce. Nice to have a place here that is a mom and pop restaurant and not a chain restaurant. The food was soul food, no frills. A refreshing break from the chain restaurants. read more
