My receipt from McDonald's in Latham NY
Scotty K.

If I could give this location less than 1 star I would. The service sucks. This morning I ordered 2 egg McMuffins and two hash browns. When I pulled up to the window to receive my food there was only 1 sandwich not two. Told the guy at the window. He asked what did I order and I told him. He gave me a sandwich and ai pulled away. I get to a light and opened it up and it was a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle. I wasn't going back to sit in the long line for another screw up so I opened the other sandwich and the same thing. Is it really that difficult? It's on the receipt and on the screen that they study to get you your order. Just a poor location. Poor ownership. They should ashamed to call themselves a McDonald's.

This is the worst McDonald's in the Capital Region! The buns are dry and they're always out of soda flavors!

They have 2 drive-thru "order heres," but in the same lane, which I think is confusing and retarded. Drive-thru lane moved fast.

A regular fries and a drink brought the total to around $27 (!). Food was ready in about 5 minutes (they give you a light-up device so you don't have to wait in line) and we took it to our table. I have eaten at another location and knew what to expect. The burger was very good, though also greasy. I like thin, crispy burgers and they do it well though despite the handy paper handle to hold it with your fingers will get very messy. My son absolutely loved his burger too. The fries were much better than what I had experienced at their other location. These seemed pre-cut, perhaps pre-frozen, and coated in cornstarch. The top of the container were nice and crispy though they got soggy as you went down. I wish they arranged them flat on a plate, which might keep their texture better (though result in them getting colder faster). All in all, I like this place. Their prices are very steep for the small burgers you get, but they are high quality. So, I dunno. I can't come here more than for special occasions but when I do I think I will just stick with the burgers and skip the fries.

BEST.DIVE.IN.AREA!…read more Local resident here. I remember when it was under it's former name, "Everydays". Please do not let the internal appearance fool you. The customers and staff are welcoming. There is outdoor seating for warmer months. Lets talk about burgers. To.die.for. Burgers are huge, the bun is monogrammed. They can customize any way you wish. And tasty!!! Splurge on the fries with (beef) gravy and plentiful. We have also ordered wings as an appetizer - crispy, tasty with just enough sauce. Mild is VERY mild ( not complaining! ) Your feet will stick to the floor and the food will stick to your ribs. Local or Visitor - please patron and enjoy great food at reasonable price.

We had the cheese Quesadilla and Mexican fries. Both were excellent. I really want to try the build a burger but unfortunately today is our last day in town . I would highly recommend a visit because of the warmth and food. Don't let the outside scare you.

For context, I rate products and experiences on a simple scale: 5 = love it, 4 = like it, 3 = okay,…read more2 = didn't like it, 1 = hated or unsafe. Another great visit to Innovo Kitchen I've been to Innovo Kitchen several times over the years and have reviewed them before, and today's visit didn't disappoint either. One thing I really like about Innovo is that they frequently change the menu, so there's always something new to try, and I've never had trouble finding something that sounds good. Tonight I went with the Rigatoni Riggies with tomato vodka sauce and chicken, and it was delicious. The warm bread that came with it was also really tasty. We also tried the Dorito Cool Ranch tater tots, which were delightful. But the real showstopper was the peanut butter mud pie. Soooooo good. Definitely one of those desserts that makes you wish you had ordered two. What really made tonight's visit memorable, though, was our waiter, Matthew. He noticed the funny design on my T-shirt and struck up a conversation about it. We laughed and chatted for a bit, and eventually he mentioned that he's been a waiter for 27 years. It showed. Matthew was high-energy, funny, personable, and attentive without being overbearing. He checked on us several times and seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing. Watching him work was like watching someone who has truly mastered his craft. It was a master class in waitership, and it made an already great meal even better. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and an excellent server. Another very enjoyable visit to Innovo Kitchen.

They are always pleasant and attentive. However, the food is not as good as a story. Your "experience" starts by reading the menu and being greeted by relatively high prices - which isn't an issue if the food is stellar (spoiler alert, it's not). I have had multiple dishes here from a roast beef sandwich, burger, chicken Caesar salad, an onion pasta dish, and even a lobster Cobb salad. Every single dish lacks seasoning, culinary character, and is just bland. I want to like it, but they make it very hard. If you go here, maybe just have a drink at the bar and go eat some place else.

Fallside Brewing - Coffee Porter

I absolutely think this place is great!…read more I was introduced to Fallside through a Yelp Event earlier this year. I talked about it so much at work my friends begged to go. We met up for 50 cent wings on Sunday. Yeah, that's right, what is this 2006? 50 cent wings, and they are no joke! Big plump and juicy wings cooked perfectly crispy and generously tossed in sauce with was was described as house-made ranch or blue cheese dressing? My friends really enjoyed them. I had the fried vegetable gyoza and I can't say I've ever had them deep fried before, more like steamed or pan-fried, but this was a game changer! I was really looking forward to the Imposter cheezy jalapeno bites but our server informed us they were out. I love that they have several vegan options on the menu. At the Yelp Event we were fortunate enough to try the vegan pizza and it was honestly one of the best vegan pizzas around the Capital Region. They use Imposter plant-based cheese which is a local product made by a small business in Troy. I love that small businesses are supporting each other like this. The beer is excellent too, we were looking forward to having the red ale since I spoke so fondly of it but it was tapped out. I had a really good mango IPA which hazy doesn't even begin to describe! It's really nice inside and on Sunday it had just become warm enough by mid afternoon, they opened the big garage door and let some fresh air in which was no nice after such a long winter. I think I can speak for my coworkers and I that we will be coming back again soon so please keep those vegan options stocked up!

I was disappointed that I could not attend Yelp Albany's recent event at Bye-I-now-Fallside Brewery…read morea few weeks ago. So the next time I scheduled a brewery crawl in the area, I made sure to come here. I submitted a business page update regarding the rebranding, but at this point, I don't know whether Yelp will simply rename the existing page or create a new one for Fallside. For the time being, my update goes under Bye-I. The new space is great. I had no idea how much bigger it was until I walked a ways inside, and I was equally impressed by the cool artwork. The beer is, of course, as tasty as before. We seated ourselves in the back to enjoy our pours, and within a couple of minutes, a server dropped off food menus and attended to us the rest of the evening. Had I read my recently obtained copy of the March-April copy of local "True Brew," I would have known that several of their dishes were featured in it, specifically their beef stew and mac & cheese. But I had the Chicken Caprese sandwich, which came with steak fries perfectly cooked and obviously cut in their own kitchen. We were checked on frequently, and as we were finishing up, their Friday evening music session was starting. Food and drink here are reasonably priced, and I feel the quality of both were just as good, or perhaps better, than what you get at "those larger breweries" along Broadway. Of course I'll still patronize them all, but for me, Fallside has the edge in this part of town right now.
