Thankfully I'm not from around Cleveland as this McDonalds was at best subpar. Friend and I went here around midnight after a concert, and we went in the drive-thru. There was only one car directly in front of us, and we still had to wait a good ten minutes before we ever got a chance to place our order. When we pulled forward, there was another long wait at each window, and none of the workers seemed to enjoy us being there. The only reason I give two stars is because the food itself actually wasn't awful. It was pretty standard as far as McDonalds goes -- but still not worth the wait in my opinion. read more

Went to McDonalds drive thru on West 117th. Lakewood, Ohio I ordered the $5.00 lunch meal. When it came to the beverage, I explained that I can't drink pop, would like a glass of water instead. They then charged me for a bottled water, I told her that I was not going to pay for water. She called a manager, the manager told me that I could have another beverage. She suggested orange juice, I said Ok. When I got to the window to pay I was charged for the orange juice. I left without the order. Whenever I go inside, when I order a glass of water they give it to me without an argument. What is the problem???? I'm typically not one to frequent McDonald's however one day we had a bad experience at Dunkin' (unfavorable breakfast sandwiches for outrageous price-almost turning into Starbucks prices) so we drove through McDonald's and ordered the 2 sausage McGriddles for $3 and a coke, I think it was total $4 and change, compared to $14 for two breakfast sandwiches and a cappuccino at Dunkin. It just seemed crazy, and low and behold those Mccgriddles were more tasty and satisfying. Service was fast and friendly and actually accurate. Way to go McDonald's! read more

If any management or higher up is reading this; train your overnight staff better. The entire staff was not working together. My order was not correct. Two hands of people were required to make my order. 90 percent full-filled. I was missing the cheese from my sausage burritos. The overnight staff was unprofessional. Pretty much everyone knows what to expect when you come to a McDonald's, it's inexpensive and not the best quality, but serves the purpose. Now when it comes to the ice cream, that's a different story...I crave that stuff! Naturally it seems that whenever I'm craving a delicious caramel sundae from McDonald's the darn machine seems to be down. This is such an issue that there is an app to show consumers when the machines are down at each location! Newer locations, or newly remodeled locations now offer a double drive through. AMAZING STAFF. Never had an unpleasant experience. I love being greeted by kind, down to earth faces. One time my order had a thumb print on it, and they remade it for me. Very kind of them. And another time, they gave my dog whipped cream. I got a lot of compliments about being super sweet to them because I naturally am sweet, but if your customer service is subpar then I'll use Yelp lmao. Simple. But the staff here are great!! UPDATE: Just read other reviews omgg guess I got lucky lol. I can confirm, however, that the lines are long and it does take forever for someone to greet you. I'm in Cleveland for a month and this location is the closest. It's McDonald's so my expectations are as low as they can get. On 3 separate occasions I stopped by this location on the way to work. I kept my order as simple as possible. How can anyone mess up a large hot coffee 3 creams? Driving away I take a sip and it's lukewarm at best. I proceed to stop at this location again and again thinking this has to be a fluke. How do you fuck up coffee, the machine brews it you pour it. The last time I ask the chubby guy (rude AF by the way) at the drive thru if the coffee is fresh, which he apparently finds funny. Get to the window and learning my lesson I open it up and you guessed it cold! That was the breaking point and I asked for my money back. Ordered quarter pounder with cheese,from the drive through at 2:53pm on a Sunday. Waiting, waiting, I pay, I'm asked to move to the next window for my food, two cars in line in front of me waiting. At 2:13, I'm still waiting. I park and go inside. No customers inside, no one at counter, no one at tables. No employees at counter. A young man wearing a headset mumbles as he walks past me. I look his way , I think is he talking to me? He says to me, "you waiting on a quarter" I say yes, he walks behind the counter places fries and a quarter pounder box in a bag and hands to me as he says I apologize. I get in my car and drive away. Fries are not hot. I open the box marked quarter pounder with cheese. A burned bun with a cold burger, bacon that is cardboard like in flavor and texture and I think what are potatoes. read more
