Paired with their salsa, it's seriously amazing. I also ordered a three-item combo plate and wow -- the chimichangas were so good. I went with ground beef and shredded beef with green sauce, and added an enchilada with red sauce. Everything was super flavorful and tasted fresh. We also got the queso, which I highly recommend. I love dipping my chips into both the queso and the salsa -- so yummy. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. They finish meals with watermelon shots, which are the best. I've heard there are like seven different liquors in that shot, and it's definitely memorable. I come here every time I'm in town, and it never lets me down. Great food, great flavors, and always a solid experience. Highly recommend!

We ordered one cinnamon roll to share, not realizing it was approximately the size of four normal cinnamon rolls! We both laughed, cut ourselves a slice, and immediately asked for a box. It was warm, ooey-gooey perfection, loaded with cinnamon and butter and covered in cream cheese frosting. Honestly, it may have been the best cinnamon roll I have ever eaten. As though that were not enough, we had also ordered a side of bacon--four generous slices--and full breakfasts. We both chose the prime rib Benedict, and it was incredible. The eggs were large and beautifully colored, the English muffin was tender, the sauce was just right, and the hash browns had that perfect crispy crunch. Needless to say, we did not finish everything at either meal. Darbi's definitely believes in leftovers! The prices were very reasonable, and the waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming during both visits. Between the huge portions, creative dishes, fun atmosphere, and outstanding food, Darbi's is a must for breakfast or lunch in Pinetop. Go hungry, arrive early, and save room in the car for your leftover boxes!
