I got my daughter a happy meal and got myself a crispy chicken sandwich to tie me off just as a snack. I saw 540 calories and figured okay. I was disgusted to bite into a frozen chicken patty and then open the sandwich and see barely any chicken and just a sloppy sauce mess with 1 pickle..... literally traumatizing

The service is good I been coming here for years I have never seen this ? But why is the water so dirty ? I let them know they just gave me new water :/ Didn't bother to say sorry or anything Manager didn't care didn't say anything

Wendy's wins overall, for the bigger, better sandwich but best value goes to McD's on Filet-O-Fish Friday.

I am amazed that so many people bag on fast food joints like McDonald's. First off, any place that has a dollar menu needs to give you pause in regard to how much actual beef is in that thawed out, frozen, particle board of a patty?... Any way, griping about FRESHNESS should not be apart of the conversation. - HA! 'And don't get me started on the meat quality of Taco Bell. One grade above, not suitable for human consumption... 'But that's why they have their hot sauce to help it along. - "Needs more ketchup." In general, most fast food joints are going to be: 1. Cheap 2. Quick & convenient 3. Mass produced with just enough "quality" to sell off to the masses However, most people will usually go for the first two, cheap & easy. If quality was a big concern, they'd be heading to The Habit, The Schwack, A's Burgers, Burger Lounge, Bad to the Bone, or Surf Riders Cafe. Although, the prices at MCD's are more than they used to be; you still can get a good deal on specials like the Filet-O-Fish Friday. ($2.50 - Reg: $4.79) Which brings me to my recent side-by-side comparison: Wendy's Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich vs McDonald's Filet-O-Fish Sandwich "Ding! Ding! Let's get this show started!" McDonald's Filet-O-Fish: $4.79 (Special offer: $2.50 on Friday's @ most locations.) Wendy's Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich: $4.29 *Offered for a limited time only; some locations may offer it all year around. Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=IHAv4c5x47jhhVtvyQ6VZA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ Texture & Taste: McD's Filet-O-Fish is not very crispy at all; moist. Wendy's Panko Crispy Sandwich is quite crispy which gives it a nice textural crunch. Wendy's fish filet is coated in a crispy panko breading; served with lettuce, a slice of American cheese, pickles and a creamy dill tartar sauce, served on a premium bun. (Photo note: The bun does not look as nice as McD's but I suspect there are less preservatives in it as well.) I did notice that there was a stronger fish flavor in the Panko Crispy Sandwich which was less prominent in the Filet-O-Fish. The Wendy's fish sandwich was also saltier in flavor which could have been toned down a bit. If I do return & order the Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich, I may try and request "very light" or "no salt"; if that's even an option. Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fsxOC92OC9zEY_6Ey2YjdQ&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ Cheese and...: Both sandwiches come with a slice of American Cheese BUT it is notable that McD's uses only a HALF-SLICE while Wendy's gives you an entire slice. Both come with tartar sauce; Wendy's actually adds pickles and lettuce to the sandwich in addition to sauce. Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=538Zjs1zIXFkU6kivVcCCw&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ Size: McDonald's fish sandwich offers about 50% less Wendy's portion of fish. Mcdonald's Fish Patty: 2.5" square Wendy's Fish Patty: 3.75" square Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=L_f61XQpm55BakloW8O1NA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ Fish: McDonald's uses pollock for their Filet-O-Fish. Wendy's previously used cod for their sandwiches but has switched to Wild Alaskan Pollock. The Wild Alaskan Pollock comes from the world's largest certified sustainable fishery. McDonald's Filet-O-Fish comparison rating: 3 Stars The Filet-O-Fish: https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ZbeVCVcTz7ak5EpITc1v0g&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ Overall restaurant rating: 3 Stars Conclusion: For about the same $$, Wendy's offers a bigger, better, fish sandwich. However, McDonald's offers Filet-O-Fish Friday which is the best value to get an inexpensive, fish sammie fix. - Big Aloha! Food: 3 (Overall) Ambiance: n/a Service: 3+ Value: 3

Stopped by for a breakfast meal and coffee. After i went up to the register for my coffee since they were super busy, I asked for creamers and Splenda. Well to my surprise I had to go back and ask for 4 more creamers and Splenda. The coffee was awful and it was either burn or someone is not cleaning the coffee machine daily and as they should. I took it back to the register and explained to her what had happened. She offered to make me another one, but unless she can brew I'm a second I'm not gonna fit around for her to rebaje it when it was an awful batch of coffee. I told her I did not want it to just make sure she gets that looked into bc another customer might not be as pleasant as I am.

He's very interactive with a lot of people and I appreciate that he brought us some scratch and sniff stickers and an In-N-Out sticker for myself. I've never received an In-N-Out sticker, and I thought that was the coolest thing he talked to us for a little bit and then he went on about his day grabbing a water bowl for a dog on a hot day picking up peoples trash left on the table, greeting people talking to them seeing if they need any napkins actually, he just brought napkins to everybody without even asking that's super cool Although our meal took a little too long to get people that ordered after you got there before mine, it was definitely worth the weight since we got to interact with Bill. Bill is definitely an In-N-Out treasure in San Juan Capistrano. He definitely made that location feel alive. He made people feel seen and made the ambience. Just great. You should go by and say hi to Bill. Honestly, he deserves some recognition cause he's a really cool guy who just loves on people

The location contains two enclosed areas and an outdoor area for eating. In the middle is the kitchen and fountain drink self serve area. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered a chicken sandwich with two fountain drinks. Cost was $16.00. We shared one sandwich. The sandwich consisted of four pieces of chicken, a slice of lettuce and a sliced soft bun. Not really enough for two for a full lunch, but sufficient for a snack. The inside of the bun was slathered with a tepid tasting sort of mayonnaise dressing which didn't add to the overall taste. My overall impression was of blandness. The coating on the chicken pieces was thick, crunchy and bland. We had French fries with this sandwich, also not overly salty (nor particularly tasty). Overall, the meal taste quality was somewhat below Chick Fill Ay. The drinks seemed watered down as well, from the self serve fountain.
