We have been coming off and on to this McDonald's location for the past 3 months and every time we have driven through the drive-thru it has been a great experience. Our wait has been minimal and the food has been on point. The staff member at the drive up window is always friendly, courteous and professional. She offers to help when needed with my app and assures our order is correct. We realize the location is ideal and therefore understand a wait may be in order but the wait time is no more than any other fast food restaurant around. The Manager With purple hair was very rude to me and my kids. I has politely told her that my order was wrong and handed my receipt to her she SNATCHED it from my hand very rudely and told me i was wrong. I do not think my order was very complicated either! 2 kids meals( both the same) and i received a big mac meal instead. Then she proceeded to tell me i was trying to scam them into giving me free food. She then referred to my kids as "living failed abortions" I was absolutely shocked and disgusted by her remarks. My girlfriend and I were looking to get a simple Happy Meal while on our road trip. We had about 130 miles in which various other McDonald's were on the radar. We chose this one assuming it would be the best due to it being in close proximity to a large city such as Olympia. We order two happy meals with sauces, nuggets, sprite, fries and a toy. We come to find out when we open the boxes that almost every item in the meal had an issue. First the sauces were missing. The chicken nuggets were not cooked all the way. The sprite was warm, even with the few ice cubes they added. The fries were without ketchup. Worst of all, the best part of the happy meal experience, the toy, was broken and both meals came with the exact same one. I assumed this would be a fine establishment due to its well kept interior but painfully shattered my high expectations on entering. read more

They state they are open 24 hours. However, their evening hours are not consistent. It seems the evening hours depend on the mood of the employees. Sometimes they only serve deliveries through the drive thru, sometimes you are lucky if you can get them to speak to you when they take your money, if you are lucky enough to place an order. Went to pick up a door dash order, stood there for about 5 minutes as I saw they were still packing orders(wasn't too busy but I've seen workers snap at customers before so I just didn't feel like dealing with any of it). I could tell the young lady at the cash register was standing there acting like she was busy because I heard her tell a customer they were doing NO ice cream orders, a couple minutes later I see another worker walk up to the machine and use it for a drive through order, another dasher had walked in and went up to her to tell her the ID for the order and the worker said nothing and walked away to the side computer where I watched her stand and act like she was busy for the next 5 minutes. Another worker asked her to help pack the bags which she did VERY slowly(I watched her walk back and forth throughout the front area looking lost for a couple minutes not getting anything done). After about 10 minutes of packing the orders she finished and she had known there was two of us waiting for door dash orders and I could see my order was just sitting there but I assumed maybe they were waiting on an item. The girl had her phone in her hand and I guess she was about to go on break. As she walked past me to the lobby I asked her if any of the door dash orders were ready and then she asked me what my ID for the order was. She goes and grabs it for me as it was just sitting there for a couple minutes but didn't bother to just hand it to us. I asked the girl why she didn't just hand it to us because we have been waiting for about 15 minutes at this point and she said nothing and just walked away too busy. I don't care if you're having a bad day just do your job! The McDonald's Managers need to start making sure the workers are actually working! Terrible service! read more

I'm not a McDonald's fan in general, but I ended up eating here a lot while taking classes at the SPSCC campus. It's very clean, fast, and I feel like I've always had good service here. Also like that the dining room is open 24-7, I've stopped in a few times after a crazy long day when I really just needed to eat something and chill, and that has always been a good experience. I would say this McDonald's is a typical McDonald's. The service is ok, not super fast, but not too slow. They will often make order mistakes, but most McDonald's restaurants also make order mistakes so this is not uncommon. The drive through is not as bad when the computer system is working because you can see exactly what the person taking your order put into the computer system and correct problems on the spot, but there is still opportunity for errors when the staff assembles your order. On our last visit, they initially forgot to include fries. The kids play land is nice to have and the happy meals now have healthier options so you can bring your kids here occasionally and not feel to bad about it. The restaurant is about as clean as any other McDonald's so no surprises there. On our last visit in the restaurant we did not see the location for condiments like ketchup and salt packets. I could have just missed it, but I presume they want you to specifically ask for these condiments to help control costs (people taking more than they need). The problem for me is that I'm not yet in the habit of asking for these things when I order, and I don't want to wait in another long line just to get some ketchup. It would be good if they could find a way to meter these items without forcing customers to specifically ask for them. read more

This location is badly in need of NEW management. This place is rediculously SLOW! I waited last week for 30 min in the drive thru. I pull up ask to speak with the manager. He comes to the window. I was at home, the boyfriend was waiting in the parking lot at McDonald's worth no app downloaded on his phone. The app wouldn't let me check in. This manager or employee in charge was not helpful. McDonald's food is McDonald's food wherever you go. Sometimes it's really hot and good tasting and sometimes it's cold or bland. I'm not sure what causes either situation. Despite the fact that the food is full of chemical ingredients and cancer causing agents, I still am drawn to eat here on occasion. McDonald's food fits best with little children and senior citizens because those are usually the demographic that eat bland foods and love them. McDonald's recent attempts to change their menu to suit the grown up tastes as well as making their food to seem more healthy have done nothing for them but chase away customers. People go to McDonald's because it's unhealthy and they know it. We go back for the old standards. The cheeseburger, the Big Mac, the Quarter pounder etc... Their new sandwiches neither taste good nor are they worth the price. Another reason people go to McDonald's is for their kids and because it can be nostalgic but it has changed so much since I was young that there is no nostalgia here for me anymore. What happened to the characters? Where is Grimmace, the Fry Guys, Mayor McCheese, Birdie, Hamburgalur, or the Nuggets? What happened to the character theme McDonald's Playland? McDonaldland cookies? Custom happy meal boxes? Even the toys are garbage now. McDonald's has come a long way from where they were when I was young and in my opinion, they've gone the wrong direction. This particular location was not very busy when I arrived. Only 3 people in front of me and it still took 8 minutes for me to get to the counter to order. Horribly SLOW Drive-Through!!! My wife and I went through the Drive-Through on 10/7/17 and ordered ONLY a coffee. Despite the fact that there were only 3 cars ahead of us, it took 18 minutes (I timed it via my phone's Stopwatch app) to get the coffee. This is the last time I'll attempt to go to this location; I often see people just getting out of the drive-thru lane and leaving due to the long wait.
