Went through the drive thru at 10:15am this morning. When ordering, after every thing I said the female taking the order kept saying "is that all" with a slight attitude. She said it at least 8 times before I was done ordering. Got to the window... still with the attitude. Why the poor attitude with someone you don't know that hasn't been rude to you? I don't understand. That's probably why she works there I suppose. Customer service is a Zero for today. read more

The store smelled like straight ass. Not a very clean store. Fries were cold. Service was okay. Not that busy for the food to be that bad. Inside the store was very dirty. No one's cleaned any of the tables. I would've liked to eat inside but it smelled really bad inside read more

Restaurant was dirty, the place smelled and the when I got the food (I ordered against my good judgement), it presented terrible. Fries undercooked and stale bread. I didn't eat, wasted $$$. The lady at counter was nice, but that's the only nice thing I can say. read more

Worst McDonald's in the history of Mickey D's. Run by complete morons. Couldn't get an order right if it was to save their life. Horrible customer service! As a shareholder of this restaurant, I believe this one should be torn down! I would say start new but Straw plains isn't worth the investment to build another one. read more

Who orders pancakes and doesn't receive syrup? Who, me. When I go to any place and order pancakes I receive syrup. I am confused as to why I did not today. Now I have to eat my pancakes dry, my mouth NOT watering. So please for the sake of a girl, give us syrup with our HOT CAKES. Thank you. read more

I've stopped going to McDonalds because of this location. They've messed up my order 3 times, and screwed me out of my money once. They can put money into renovations, but not into better management. Disappointing. Chicken usually undercooked too. read more

A quick stop for coffee and we decided to go in. This to be able to add our own ice cubes to the legendary hot coffee. The restaurant was clean and quite empty at 9:30 AM on a Sunday. My wife was very impressed with the kiosks near the registers for ordering your food but we opted to go to the register for our large coffee. Easy to order, easy to pay, easy to add ice cubes and hit the road. [Review 12905 overall, 221 of 2020.] read more

Just left this location. They OWE US 20 dollars. Our bill was 14.70... we handed them 50 dollar bill and 70 cents in change... she handed us back a 10, 5 and a 1. Not only that, I am severely allergic to pork and they put pork on both my sandwiches after we asked three times to ensure the proper order was placed. Ticket number 49 at 6:57 10/16/2022. The manager was unapologetic, DID NOT give us the change back. The manager said that the drawer wasn't wrong but she didn't even attempt to ask the employee about the situation. Do they have cameras on these employees? Refusal to give back change is theft. Cashier KS# 13 and if you need a description of the cashier, I have one. read more

McDonald's - A copy of the receipt - Fast Food Near Me - Knoxville, Tennessee

Makes good food, but does not always follow orders on online orders!! I ordered these in the past and the crew did not listen or pay attention to details! Order 1: 2 triple cheeseburgers with no pickles and extra cheese. Got 0 extra cheese and they only had one burger that had no pickles the other had 20 extra pickles!! Order 2: caramel macchiato with extra caramel syrup and caramel drizzle!! One is a pump of Carmel the other is the drizzle they put on top of whipped cream. Failed to do both but I was charged for these. I paid for something I never got. Happened (3 times in the past 2 weeks)!! Extra Syrup adds ($1) the drizzle adds ($0.30) to the order. A $5 drink becomes $8 after tax!! Now $8x3=$24 I wasted!! Now I can accept that mess ups happen but remember when you sale something that the customer never receives or gets something they did not order is called a scam!! Please McDonald's fix the service not only for me but those that also have this happen to them!! read more

This location is terrible. Messed up on my mobile order and did not answer their phone. Hung up on us. Very frustrating. Do not go here.

Bathrooms were nasty! Insulation everywhere, music blasting, food was barely put together, and the service sucked.

Terrible service! Will not go back. My husband asked a young girl for ketchup & salt after receiving his order in the drive through and she replied, "You don't deserve it"....then said, " I'm sorry, I'm having a bad day." What!?!?!? Is there such a thing as customer service or even proper training??? Wow! (Also, forgot his drink....bottled water, he had to go back for it). Crazy rude. Too many other places to eat. read more

Everybody should know better than to order from McDonald's especially strawberry plains and Millertown Pike they do not hire people that know how to read they do not hire people that know how to do their job. All they know how to do is just order people to fill positions. Every time that I order from either one of those McDonald's I never get what I ordered. They think but a quarter pounder with cheese is a fish sandwich they think a fish sandwich is a quarter powder with cheese. How could they get the stuff wrong and then they give it to delivery drivers such as Uber eats DoorDash and so forth, and expect their customers to be happy. Well they haven't made me happy yet! read more

Me and my daughter got food here I clearly told the young cashier that I wanted a double quarter pounder with cheese after waiting for my order they gave me a quarter pounder with cheese I took it back up and told them this was wrong the manger told another manager to refund it and rering it back up I already wanted for it one time so I took the quarter pounder with cheeseand ate what I didn't order read more

This location was one of the messiest & dirtiest McD's I'd ever been in. I blame management. Floor had trash on it and was dirty. Tables weren't wiped off & smeared. The drink area was disgusting as there was trash all over, trash over flowing out of the receptacle, lids and food in the drain area. Look at the pics. Don't stop here! read more

Just below your standard McDonald's quality location. Some food and other stuff on the floor in front the cashier area. Both double cheeseburgers tasted like they had been sitting for way to long. I think a toddler could've thrown the burgers together better than what they were. The chicken nuggets were fresh and hot and the coffee was okay. The french fries were average. Lots of parking spots and some for trucks with trailers. read more

Food came out fast and the burgers were standard, but the fries were cold and every single one of the tables were disgusting. we came in at 10:30 and left around 11 and no one came out to clean any of the tables. There was no one in the drive thru line and no line inside. Just gross. read more

I had visions of a McFlurry. I just didn't know what kind I wanted. M&M? Butterfinger? Hmm. It all vanished the moment I stepped into the restroom. When I had to roll up my pants, because I was afraid of letting them touch the floor. When I considered taking my toddler to another place. When there were "things better left unsaid" everywhere. Usually we depend on McDonalds for our stops. Not this one. A person even came in to ask about the condition of the restroom. I told her and trusted that she would solve the issue, only to return to see that she just emptied the trash, and left behind everything else. I would like to believe she had intentions to return. Somehow, I just don't know. As there were individuals eating there, and I did not because I had lost my appetite, I can not rate the food. I can say that you may need to consider the food a possibility but look elsewhere to take your child to the restroom. read more

I ordered one thing & this McDonald's got it totally wrong. Some of the employees are a bit rough looking & don't really seem to care one way or another about their job. That's ok - I don't stop at McDonald's much anyway & won't be going back to this one aagain! read more

This McDonald's really is quick and keeps it professional Out of most McDonald's which I refuse to go as knowing them for not getting my order right ever .... this one I never even check before driving off thank god it's by my house ! Keep it up read more

They can't get an order right, they take forever and more times than not you don't get a straw or napkins

Didn't have everything I wanted, but the customer service was excellent for a place that has 6-7 people quit each day. Props to the young manager who was dealing with it all read more

My favorite is the mcmuffins sausage and egg come on now it's on point the mcgriddles omg are so good now I see why my uncle eats there about every morning it's real good and the quarterpounder with cheese is boss and fries are almost never stale it's a family favorite. read more

This was the dirtiest, nastiest, slowest McDonalds ever, yuck! Go somewhere else!!!!

After reading previous reviews, I was actually pretty surprised. Stopped for lazy road trip food, and this McDonald's gave me the best McNuggs I've ever had. The employees working the night shift were quite nice! read more

Every time I visit this location the dining room is dirty and the soda station is a disaster. While using the drive thru I have consistently gotten the wrong thing or things omitted from my order. In the evening hours, the establishment is hit or miss when using the drive thru. It is a poor reflection of the franchise. If you like other fast food places close to them, go there. read more

I think I can sum up my many experiences at this location with this much repeated statement: "Our machines are down right now." Every time. Hot chocolate? Nope, machines are down. McFlurry? Nope, machines are down. Frappe? I'll have that right up! Just kidding. The machines are down. Down the road there is an Arby's with great milkshakes. Down the other way there's a Weigels with fantastic coffee AND hot chocolate. So I'm sorry disgusting Strawberry Plains McDonald's, but I'm going to have to take my business to a place with machines that are not ALWAYS conveniently "down". read more

What can I say? It's a McDonald's. My main gripe is with the order being right. Almost every time I've gone here they will give me the wrong order. It doesn't matter if they're busy and both drive through lanes are packed or if it's dead and you're the only one in line. read more

Been to this McDonald's a few times since moving into the area and the people who work there are so polite and friendly, orders were correct and super fast. I don't tend to use the drive thru since I like to go in and I always check my food but haven't had an issue yet. read more

I took grandchildren to get after school snack. In drive thru lane 1, the employee said she would be with me, then she took 6 other cars, 4 of which drove up after I did. The employee kept saying I'll be right with you and laughing. She thought it was very funny. I took grandchildren inside to place order. the same woman, she had the headset on, waited on us. She was rude. I told her I would not be back. She said well we are very busy and short staffed. There were two other customers inside besides me. She continued to laugh. She has some serious problems. I will NEVER return to this Mc Donald's. I take my grandchildren for snakes after school, and during summer. Guess I'll drive the extra distance and take them to Jefferson City. Both grand kids used the restroom. Both said it was nasty. And there was no toilet tissue in the bathroom. Horrible service. I have already told about 10 people about my experience there. I will continue telling people. Word of mouth moves fast. read more

The place isn't clean and the food takes a bit long for a McDonald's. I ordered food and it was all messy. Just in general not good service

This is a continuing experience with the Ferris owned McDonald's. I live 1 mile from the Strawberry Plains location and very few times you go there can you get what you went for. I just left there wanting a dipped cone. Nope the ice cream machine wasn't working. Night before last it was a orange slushy or freeze whatever it's called. Nope out of mix. Those aren't the only times or Ferris locations that it happens at. It is franchise wide. read more

Worst McDonald's ever. Ordered a Buttermilk Crispy Chicken (to go.) Paid for a Buttermilk Crispy Chicken. Got a box that said Buttermilk Crispy Chicken. Got back to my mom's house - something different was inside the box (an Artisan Grilled Chicken.) Ate it because I was starving but later went back to complain. Manager said that there was nothing she could do since I'd eaten the sandwich. (Like I was going to drive all the way back when I was hungry.) Others in my family say they get orders wrong all the time. Avoid. read more

This is the easiest McDonald's location to stop at on my way to and from work but it seems that most of the time there is something wrong with my order which is at least 8 out 10 times. Tonight all I ordered was a 20 piece nugget and 2 kids meals place my order and pick it up at Drive thru get home and discover that they left out the fries in both kids meals. How does this really happen when after asking what you want in them. This is how they are made every day. Tried to call but they won't answer the phone. I recommend going to another location especially if it is a Cochran family location since the Farris Family locations are just terrible for customer service. read more

This McDonald's was very clean and they had truck and RV parking. However, they did not have any of their buffalo sauce. And strangely enough, they didn't put any salt on their French fries which is very odd for any restaurant in Tennessee. The food was very dry without salt and buffalo sauce. Nevertheless, they had terrific service and they were very accommodating. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a road trip. There were two people in line and an employee directed me to a kiosk. I was skeptical at first but I figured, what could go wrong? I placed my order of a chicken sandwich, fries, and a chocolate shake and it did not spit out a receipt, the employee told me that I would have to place my order again on another kiosk. This seemed strange but I did anyway. At this point I could have already placed my order at the counter so I was a little miffed. A couple minutes after I placed my second order, my first order came up and I explained to the person at the counter what happened, she got a manager for me. At this time she also explained that they were out of chocolate shakes so I would have to get something else, like a mocha frappe. I was really annoyed at this since you can get a chicken sandwich and fries anywhere, but I had to get my chocolate shake. After some confusion with the manager, she refunded my money for the first order but tried to charge me for a chocolate shake. I told her I wasn't going to pay for something I didn't order. She refunded the shake too and explained that it was a bad day for her, the truck came in early or something. Sorry? read more
