Got a doordash this morning and received 2/6 items we ordered. Literal joke. Then we go in to talk to the worker and she proceeds to say "if i bagged it, it was in there." It was a fully taped up bag when we got it. They were extremely rude in there, did not care to help us out or give us the food we PAID for. They literally just scam people. This is now my second review of this shitty shitty establishment. I just got a burger at ONE O CLOCK PM. THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. I walk in to grab my mobile order, and I start waiting for it because lord knows it takes ages (Took 30 mins and all I got was a sweet tea and a mcdouble). I was getting asked for so much money by homeless people the entire 30 minutes that I waited. I genuinely got asked for money like 5 different times in that spam of 30 minutes. Like they would hear me tell someone no, and hear me not listen to them beg me for money after saying no, and other people would STILL come up to me and ask for money. It's not the homeless peoples fault because tbh if I was homeless I would go post up in the nice a/c of mcdonalds; its the employees fault. Like how are you gonna let 15 homeless people take up every seat in the mcdonalda when none of them are paying customers? I had to stand up the entire time to wait for my food because it was either that or sit next to a dude who just begged for me money and is now pisses off at me. It gets to a point McDonalds, like I get allowing some homeless people in especially if they are just sitting in the back and not asking customers for money but what I just witnessed was not okay. Why are there so many homeless people in the store? So many that I couldn't even sit down nor go 5 minutes without having to have a 5 minute conversation with a homeless person where they tell me their whole life story. That's not a good experience in the slightest, like wth? Again, not the homeless peoples fault because McDonalds is just letting them do it, it's the employees fault for letting it get that out of hand. From the rude teenager who took my order to the cold breakfast sandwich to the staff that tried to have my car towed, this was a very negative experience. I went to McDonald's first thing in the morning for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Luckily, there was a store right across the street that I could stop in before grabbing my breakfast and be on my way. I walked across the street for 5 minutes (no, literally, 5 whole minutes) then walked into McDonald's. Walked out WITH my McDonald's order and saw a tow truck. How strange. Oh, that's for ME? Whoever called obviously has nothing better to do than stalk the video cameras and try to ruin people's days, so maybe pay them less. Food is what'd you'd expect for McDonalds. The service is very slow for a "fast food" restaurant. Every time I've visited this McDonalds drive thru, I am asked to pull up to wait for my food. It took 20 minutes to get through 5 cars and we ordered a 6pc chicken nugget happy meal with double fries and we got home to realize they only gave us a single kids fry. Possibly the worst McDonald's for service on the planet. Definitely the worst in Knoxville and there are some pretty awful McDonald's scattered about town. This location THRIVES on the fact that they are in the middle of campus and have a bit of a captive audience. The workers can have crappy attitudes and still the customers will come. The drinks are consistently under-filled. Usually 3/4 full but on a good day a 1/2 full cup is standard. Beyond taking your order, the staff DOES NOT acknowledge their patrons. Robots would be nicer. The workers here don't say "hello," don't even say "your total is ..." they just stick their hand out expecting payment. If your total is $2.18 and you give them $10.18 you have to remind them to give you $8 in change. Their heads will explode if you give them $10.28. When you pick up your meal expect the silent treatment again. Don't you DARE ask for condiments. "Have a nice day" is entirely out of the question. read more

The male with black hair working the drive through was extremely rude, unprofessional, and not wearing a mask. Upon asking if they could do four separate orders he responded with a snarky "we only do one order per car after five, sweetie." Which was fine was fine. Then my roommate with a dairy allergy asked if the smoothies were dairy free. He responded extremely inappropriately with "This is isn't a SmoothieKing. It's literally just ice and flavoring." Completely uncalled for. I pulled around to pay and collect our order. There was a nice lady at the second window who handles the transaction. When we went to check the items in our order before pulling off, he pushed past her to through the window and began screaming "WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE." I said we were checking our order" and he screamed "I BAGGED IT MYSELF ITS ALL THERE, PULL OFF" keep in mind he pulled down his mask to scream at us and we hand only been checking a large order for maybe 30 seconds. *there was no Big Mac or double cheeseburger with bacon, we were missing a basket of fries* I told him and I quote "I did not appreciate your snotty ass attitude in the drive through" he told me "COOL OFF BITCH FUCK YOU" and naturally I responded "FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKER" and just drove off. I didn't get my food and I tossed out my caramel frappe because there's no telling if he spit in it or anything. This is extremely unprofessional.
