If you make a complaint, do not expect a fast response. I have been waiting 10 days. The district manager is on vacation. So, who was supposed to be covering her restaurants? I wish I had read the reviews for this store before visiting. I placed my order pull to the window to pay. The cashier was pleasant enough but seemed distracted. I pulled to the next window. I was given the one shake I ordered and was asked to pull to the next window. A young man brought us our order. I checked and the order was not right gave the bag back the cheeseburgers were supposed to be plain. He said to me your order is right. The argument ensued. I leave. Go home called the 1-800-244-6227 to complain. I assured that there would be review video and they would get back to me. I'm still waiting. I even called the district office to explain what happened. Again, still waiting. I called the district office again this morning. That is when I learned that she was on vacation. (So again, who was supposed to be covering for her.) I would give this place negative stars if I could. Just went through the drive-through gave them a simple order for two people and the order was completely wrong. Had to go inside and ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes for them to correct it all the wild the own shift manager was screaming and yelling at people to the point that a Karen, sitting in the restaurant, went up and threatened to call the police if the manager didn't stop screaming and yelling. We waited 45 minutes for a simple order, the employees were on their phones and had a terrible attitude when you talk to them, kitchen looked extremely disorganized, people from the drive thru were all walking in with problems with their orders. This location is by far the best of all of them in the area. Aside from and above usual wait time in the drive-through we have always had a decent experience. My kids always enjoyed playing in the play house. Everybody that works here is really nice even though the majority of them are young kids. I just wish their parking lot were a little bit more accessible from both sides of the road. read more

Stopped into this mcdonald's as we were heading back to Cincinnati from seeing friends in TN. I was going to drive the first leg and thought I needed to some caffeine because I was tired. I generally make my coffee 50% coffee and 50% half and half. After explaining that I needed coffee for the caffeine, but not liking coffee straight, I asked which of their coffee drinks had the most amount of milk/cream in proportion to their coffee. The girl at the register, Sara, said it was a good question and asked a co-worker. I appreciate when an employee asks someone else for the right answer instead of trying to bluff you. They both said that they liked having lots of cream in the coffee, too. My dad used to say that I really liked a coffee milkshake and I don't disagree. Sara said that she would fix my drink exactly how I wanted and after sipping it first, she would adjust it to my tastes if needed. Wow! Talk about great customer service. I even asked for the manager and gave her my glowing feedback. Got my coffee and it was perfect! What a wonderful surprise! read more

Stopped in the Kingston McDonalds and it was by far the worst experience of my life as far as eating out at fast food. Ordered our lunch through the drive thru, 2 fish sandwiches plain (fish and bun only), double quarter pounder meal, large French fries, and a 4 piece happy meal. The order had to be repeated 3 times because the person taking the order was complaining the her head set wasn't working right. The total cam up as $20.00 even to our surprise. We drove to the cashier window and paid and got our receipt. Then we pulled up to the pick up window, we were told to pull forward to wait for our food then told to never mind and handed a bag with food items in it. We pulled forward and I told my wife to check the order to see if the fish sandwiches were right. Fish with cheese on it is what was in the 2 boxes. Easy fix we thought. WRONG! My wife went in to have it corrected and came out with 2 new fish sandwiches this time with cheese and tarter sauce on them. Even further away from what was ordered. It was at this point that my wife noticed that the happy meal was also missing. I went in this time to address the issues. I asked for a manager and a bleached out haired older lady came up and asked what the problem was. I explained the issue that my wife had already been in twice to get it corrected to no avail and that we were also missing a happy meal. Instantly the so-called manager started getting smart with me and trying to argue with me. I told her at that point that I wanted my money refunded. Her response was "fine" in a hateful tone. She took my receipt and told me that we didn't even order a happy meal. I told her that her drive up worker was complaining about her headset wasn't working and that as the manager she needed to address that issue too. At this point I had another customer to my right wanting to know where their order was that they have been waiting a long time and yet another customer on the other side asking for a tomato for his sandwich as it didn't come with the one it was suppose to. The so called manager then proceeded to ring up the order in the register and turned to the people in the back and tell them they didn't need to make it that it was for a refund. I said to myself that they probably couldn't get that right either at this point. The so called manager then proceeds to give me $18.26 as a refund telling me that was all I get back as to that was all I paid for and I was given change back when my wife paid. The receipt clearly shows that $18.26 was the "sub total" before tax of $1.74 was added for a total of $20.00 dollars. Now after a minute of this going on and my refusal to except the sub total as my change I called my wife to come back into the restaurant to try and resolve this. The so called manager then proceeded to argue with my wife and call her a liar about paying $20.00 and not receiving any change back. At this point I became furious as the so called manager now attacked my wife that I informed her I would be contacting the district manager to correct this or the police. The so called manager the threw the money on the counter and said she would have to pull the drive up person's register to see how much we paid and "what our change was given". I told her fine to do it and pull the security tape to watch it for herself too. She got mad and walked off towards the back in the direction of the drive up window persons position. She returned a minute later that the cashier would throw the other $2.00 and some change into it even if her register came up short. So now again we are dealing with the so called manager getting smarter with her attitude and getting further away from the proper amount of change required to make things right. She the threw $20.00 on the counter down on the counter and walked away mumbling smart comments towards myself and my wife. At this point I was beyond livid and called the local police and left the money laying on the counter. We informed the officer that money was laying on the counter and what the situation was. He then proceeded to talk to her afterwards where we heard her say that now I was suppose to be yelling at her employees now in the back of the store of which I talked to no one except her as the security video will prove and denied calling my wife a liar. We stepped outside the McDonalds where the police officer showed us the money and the receipt before putting them into his pocket. He then proceeded to tell us that we were going to get $20.00 and to leave. I asked the officer if I could show him something on the receipt as he was now under the attitude we were in the wrong about the amount. I showed him the sub total $18.26 with the word directly below sub total being tax in the amount of $1.74 making the TOTAL AMOUNT $20.00 with NO CHANGE GIVEN. McDonalds needs to fix it's equipment and get a manager who can do their job correctly without lying and calling customers liars, and learn how to read their receipts correctly. read more

I usually come here for when I need something to eat asap. Today around 1:45 I went through the drive through to get some chicken nuggets. The lady was extremely rude. She asked me to pull up so I did and 10 minutes later still no food, so I walk in and ask for it because I was waiting a long time for "fast" food. The lady that told me to pull up said " if you would be patient maybe I'd bring it to you" i stood patiently waiting some more and she looks at me with the stink eye and dropped the bag into my hand saying " if I see you again, I promise I'll spit in your food" I complained to the manager about the bad service. this mcdonalds is charging one dollar for a cup of ice!!!! even with purchase of a cup of coffee. when I asked why the person taking money said he was told to lessen carbon footprint, but he thought it was away to make money. well I did not purchase the ice.
