I took the little guy for ice cream cones after a hard day at the park. This particular Mickey D's leaves a LOT to be desired. I didn't find it to be the cleanest of dining rooms which isn't surprising as the parking lot wasn't the most intriguing. I placed our order at the machine and was prompted for our table number to deliver the cones yet one of the multiple staff were yelling out my receipt number instead. I have no issue with walking myself up to the counter to retrieve my order, but I'd prefer to be mentally prepared especially when I have a toddler in tote. On a positive note, I do appreciate the convenience factor of the ordering machines as well as the ability to earn rewards in the app. Our cones were delicious and they didn't skimp on the ice cream so it was a decent visit in the end. read more

Calvin was so excellent. Going thru the drive thru at 2 am. And Calvin had so much energy after a night of drinking and partying, i can say best McDonalds experience of my 3 decades of visiting McDonald's. Thanks Calvin, honestly really brightened my day! Ps Fries are hot and salted to perfection Burger dripping with juice and cooked to perfection Crispy chicken sandwich had a flakey buttery crust. I would give it negative stars if I could. I received a burger with human hair and some other sort of fuzz throughout the entire burger. I called to let them know and a women immediately hung up on me, after I mentioned "hair". I called 9 other times before a manager picked up the phone. Only 1 star since I have to. Worst service ever! You place an order pay for it, go to pick it up and they don't give you items. Give 1/2 your order to you and look at you like your crazy when your still there. And when you say your missing something they don't believe you. Gave them my receipt and they stated they don't see it on there and can't read it...it's your printer and paper ( maybe get a new one?) then when you ask for your receipt back to show them they walk away and don't give the receipt back. If I could leave 0 stars I would! I was in the drive thru, took forever to be spoke to thru the drive thru and there was no one in line... weird. Then when I asked for my sauces, I was told okay I'll get them, checked for them in my bag didn't see them so I asked the black guy for them and he said he put them in there and I told him I didn't see them, he gave me so much attitude and acted like it was the biggest inconvienece to him. Nobody goes to McDonalds for the taste, the customer service, order accuracy, or really even the price. They go to McDonalds because it's FAST AND EASY! People want to just swing in, grab their food, and be on their way. That is seemingly impossible at this location! They are constantly overwhelmed with long lines that don't move. This is based off of MULTIPLE VISITS. In comparison, the Northlake location is far more predictable and efficient. Not sure what the issue is. I implore management of the Donald Ross location to visit Northlake, or really any other McDonalds, and ask YOURSELVES why your store seems so incapable. This has to be the absolute worst McDonald's ever. To be in a busy plaza and only offering drive thru ONLY is ridiculous. You can hardly get into the parking lot. The curbside pickup isn't any better. Why is the inside closed? The same lady works the drive thru and she's unable to manage the amount of traffic. 2 drive thru lanes and it doesn't help. This is fast food and the amount of time spent waiting to order in addition to paying is crazy. She's unable to multi task and that causes extreme delays and ridiculous. I guess the owner saw Yelp, because I had none of the problems listed above. There was a girl actually picking up crumbs off the counter because it bothered her so much to see a mess. Also I'm kind of difficult because I'm allergic to gluten, so I was asking for kind of weird things (no bun, no sauce, what's in the sauce? Actually can I have it on side and I'll look it up?) and they were so nice about it. And I saw plenty of smiles.
