Great food stop on the way to Fort Lauderdale and was very impressed with the food and choices

While I love their food. I highly discourage using Door Dash for delivery. It was my first time and it will be my last. I ordered food at 3:30PM to be delivered around 4:50-5:10 PM. Upon checking the location of the driver, she apparently was coming from Tequesta and had to make a detour to go and get her card dasher card, whatever that is. So my food was not delivered until 5:53PM and it was cold. Not warm but COLD. I would recommend just to go pick it up and for CR Chicks to do a better job of keeping food warm until it can be picked up and maybe finding another delivery service. read more

Really enjoyed the chow here. The chicken was nicely done... flavorful and well cooked. The sides were excellent too. Ashley took my order, and when I mentioned it was my first visit, she walked me through the options in a pleasant, supportive way... great first impression. I ordered the 1/2 Chicken Meal, which comes with two sides. Carrots, Mashed Potatoes, and Cole Slaw were all excellent. Tried a Chocolate Chip Cookie... soft-style and very good. After living in the area for the past year this has become our go to spot to take out. The chicken is cooked perfectly and love the flavor of Chicks! It is far better than your grocery store "chicken in a bag" for take out .... We are gluten free as well and they have great options for us with mashed potatoes and veggies. PHENOMENAL. It was fast, they are a well oiled machine. Current yelp score is 3.7, that is a major misnomer, we give it 10/5. We love this place but the last couple of times we have gone the green beans are like gray what has happened? Soft mushy and gray please bring them back to being green and crispy and more beans in your rice and beans but otherwise the chicken is off the charts. so I would give it a five for the chicken read more

Food was good and everything was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the beans and the chicken was good and cooked well. Service was as fast and the entire ordering process was pretty easy. They always are super prompt and super organized -- I've known their manager Ron for 20 years- from when he first was at their PGA place- then when he went to their Village Blvd place- and now here at the Jupiter place! My fiance and i picked up an online order. when he went inside and was filling his drink, a girl with brown hair made a nasty face while looking at his legs and then a light skin with tattoos and a beard said "i know it's october but like..." and these two laughed with each other right before the comment. His legs are his biggest insecurity. my heart hurts for him. i've been a regular for years and i am beyond disgusted by the bullying my fiance had to endure his first time stepping foot in there. we were excited for him to try the great food. i spoke with the manager, who then essentially called me a liar, saying the employees denied it. of course they would, im the liar and not them? oh and then she claims there was a rush but when my fiance was in there , there was ONE other customer on the other side of the store. she then accused me of calling the wrong store, but she had no problem identifying the person and knowing who i was talking about by asking if he had a lot of tattoos. I will do all it takes to get in contact with the owner because i don't believe there is corporate. and i will tell everyone and their mother about the horrible, gaslighting and horrific staff working at this establishment. beyond disgusted. don't support these horrible people. update: the food is amazing like i said, and i spoke with the boss of all the cr chicks and he said he's going to give us a gift card and take care of us and handle the staffing issue. don't let my review steer you away from eating here. Just know that if you have an experience like this, don't just let it be. people need to be held accountable. i'm very pleased with the way he handled the situation and how apologetic he was. read more

Chicken is gross. It is so dry it's like trying to eat a sponge. All moisture in your mouth just evaporates. Their bread is nasty and old. I've been here a few times, and the first time it was good. I came back and the bread tasted like it was a week old. You better bring a saw because it's like a rock. My go to was the Chicken Breast Sandwich. Should be renamed to Sponge Nugget Sandwich. The amount of chicken is abysmal. They douse the sandwich in mayo and put overly ripe mushy tomatoes on it. Their cookies are 99% butter. I swear they literally are so greasy they reflect light. Way too much butter. The only thing that has been consistently good I've found is the Smokey. The chicken is almost always dry, but the Vodka sauce and the Penne pasta is always good. Worth 16$? I don't think so. The portion has decreased over the years and the price has increased. The service is not good. I have never seen such a disheveled kitchen. They usually have 5-6 people cooking. All of them are college aged or younger. On top of that, they're sloppy and dirty with chicken scraps all over the floor. I have no problem with young people working in restaurants, but really the only thing they should be doing is running food. I don't want some seedy teenager making my food and not caring how it turns out. At least bring in an experienced supervisor who can make take care of quality control and ensuring they're being sanitary. This place is inconsistent and unsanitary. Don't go here. read more

Definitely the best of the CR chicks locations. Very nice staff and management and their chicken is the best quality.

I've eaten here twice - once as delivery, once as takeout. I came here initially because several of my friends told me it was great - not saying it isn't, but it's not all that's it's cracked up to be, at least in my opinion of course. For the positives, the service is excellent, the staff very attentive cand kind. The quality of the food is great, and very fresh. I simply just find there to be a lack of flavor in the two dishes I ordered. They virtually only have chicken here as a protein from what I saw, which is also a downside, but it is called C.R. Chicks...so that's on me. Overall if you love chicken, I'd give this place a shit, even though it wasn't my cup of tea. read more

Feel I was overcharged for what I received, 1/2 chicken no sides and an order of pasta for almost $16.00! Buy a whole roasted chicken at COSTCO for around $5. and a box of pasta at PUBLIX for around $2. and you'll come out a lot better for less than half the cost. Immediately following my "experience " I was a bit ticked off that I had been overcharged and I sent a message saying so. The next day the owner and then the manager reached out offering to refund my order. Ah, CR Chicks: a Palm Beach County classic. This is a welcome addition to the Abacoa Plaza. If you're a fan of their roasted chicken or the smokey pasta, I am pleased to tell you this location is just as high of quality as their other restaurants. This location seems to get really busy but usually the line moves pretty quickly. Everything is excellent. I love this restaurant! It may be my favorite in all of PBC. read more

New, convenient Abacoa location. Same moist, smoky chicken at a good price. My favorite plate is the 5 drumstick meal (comes with 2 sides) for only $5.50! One negative note... on a recent visit they said they didn't have the drumsticks available, but could provide 5 thighs instead. This has never happened before but, I figured it's still dark meat so it'd taste the same. Didn't realize until much later that a 5-thigh meal is almost $10! Not a big deal, but the server made it feel like I was doing them a favor to take thighs instead of drumsticks, and then I was charged more for agreeing. They're a young, enthusiastic but probably inexperienced group and they're still hiring at this location, so perhaps they'll be a bit more thoughtful over time. read more

Food is great! Prices are reasonable! However, they have no pet policy and let animals in the restaurant and allow owners to have their dog under arm while leaning over the counter and ordering food. This is an open food establishment. I messaged corporate only to be told they have no policy, which is a direct contradiction to Florida food and service statutes. Never disappointed at this location. Roberto, one of the managers, goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The staff here is overall very friendly and the food is always fresh. Some of my favs include Smokey alfredo (extra spicy) no chix with drummy on the side, loaded chicken sandwich, pasta salad side, and the caesar salad. Haven't come across anything I don't like here. Fabulous, "fast" food. I'm not a chicken fan, but was hosting a group of college kids, and we decided to try this. Everyone loved it! We ordered the Big Family dinner, an extra side, a pasta dish, and a mac and cheese. It was enough to feed seven people, and cost under $50! It was ready for pickup in 15 minutes, and everything was hot, and fresh tasting. We will definitely be back! read more
