Wish I could leave a 0 star review on this shthole place. Let me start off by saying if you're wanting fast food go somewhere else because there ain't nothing fast about this place. Waited 45 minutes for my food today and 30 minutes of that time was waiting for the 2 large fries that they just forgot. The time before that I ordered the $5 meal deal and instead of getting chicken nuggets I opened the nugget box to see it just full of ketchup.... That's right KETCHUP, obviously that is not a mistake that's intentional. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we go they mess up our order and it takes 30 Minutes or more! The inside is gross and not clean at all. The workers can be seen waddling around in the back or just standing talking or on their phones. If you've ever wondered why this location is horrible at giving you all of the items you paid for, this is why. They're way too obsessed with getting the fastest drive thru time on the screen in competition with other locations. They have you pull forward and clear off your order that states what you got so that it appears that they're faster than they actually are. Sandy Smallwood is the worst about this. She doesn't actually care about good customer service, she just wants to appear as good. Sure the food is good but what does that matter when it comes to you with items missing. read more

UPDATE as of 9/14/2022. The $8.00 transaction I referred to below has been credited to my account. It took over a month but it has been made right now. I think this is something that people should be made aware of. On August 7th I went to the MCDONALD'S restaurant in Jerseyville and attempted to placed an order through one of their self order kiosks. I placed my order using their selection screen and then paid for it with my debit card. The total amount came to $8 dollars. So here's where it gets interesting. It never gave me a order number or any type of receipt for the transaction. It didn't appear to me that it went through so I told one of the employees working behind the counter what happened. She went to the back to see if there was an order showing on their screen that had the items I ordered. She came back and informed me that they did not have any order showing those items on their screen so it didn't go through. She asked me if I wanted to just give her the order at the cash register. At this point I specifically asked her if that order at the kiosk gets charged to my account will they reimburse me for it. She said yes they would. So with that I placed the order at the cash register. I made some changes with the order at the cash register which caused the total amount to be $5.74 for that order. I then got my order and took it home. The next morning I pulled up my checking account via my online banking and to my dismay there was the $8.00 transaction charged to my account. I printed off the page with the charge to my checking and took it to the restaurant to get reimbursed for the charge. I spoke with the manager about it and she said that I would have to file a dispute for the charges with my bank which in this case is Credit Union 1. So that's what I did. After waiting a couple of weeks to hear from them I finally wrote them back to see where things are with this. They said that in order for them to dispute this transaction they need to have a receipt. And therein lies the rub. I don't have a receipt for that transaction. So it's kind of looking like I will not be getting my eight dollars back. It's not like eight dollars is going to break me. You can't hardly buy two gallons of gas with eight dollars but I really don't care to donate it to MCDONALD'S. So I am writing this just to let others know that I believe there are some issues with those self order kiosks. I have ordered through them before and didn't have a problem but this time it ripped me off. I will not ever be using them again. It's also going to be quite a while before I will be ordering anything from a MCDONALD,S. read more

We stop by here quite a bit. My daughter loves the chicken nugget happy meal. Inside is clean. They always ha e a ton of staff working. Don't go through the drive through if your in a hurry though. I've waited in that line over 30 minutes before. To give this place some credit they are the only McDonald's in this town and are always busy. Maybe the town needs to add another location? Food is good, but I recommend checking your order before you leave if you get it to go. One of my pet peeves is when you order a large fry and the box is only half full.
