We were coming from out East back to our dainty town of Beverly Hills when we needed to fuel up the Skipper (Our Honda Odyssey). That's when I heard a familiar growling coming from the region between my pectorals and my waistline. It was none other than my TumTum demanding some pizza pie! Usually, the family and I would go for a Papa John's Double Cheeseburger Pizza, but there wasn't enough time. We were hungry, and we were hungry NOW. Thankfully, Casey, your General Store has some of the BEST pizza I have ever eaten. We went with a classic onion and banana pepper pie, and one sausage and pepperoni for my girls Scarlett and Trina. Everyone was howling with delight. You would have thought there was a full moon! Highly recommend! 5 stars! Wish I could give 6! Happy New Year, Casey and Crew!

We especially liked the rice & beans that accompanied our Pick 2 Combos. The rice was flavorful and moist (not dry, or wet & sticky), and the beans were smooth and tasty. We both sampled cheese enchiladas, a beef taco for me, and a chalupa for her. Her ground beef chalupa was more like a tostada, but was still very good. We both appreciated that the cheese enchiladas were made with jack cheese (and not cheddar), and the red sauce on them was mild,as requested. The sopapillas were perfectly fried to puffy & crispy, sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar, lightly drizzled with chocolate sauce, and whipped cream dollops to accompany them. We are just visiting family for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and plan on coming back before we leave town.

I had to ask a cattle auction cashier where the restaurant was. She just looked at me and pointed. I found a room with some TV screens of live cattle being sold and the sounds of an auctioneer barking away. A girl appeared at the counter and asked if she could help me. I told her I'd heard they had a good burger and she asked what I wanted on it. I ordered a Cheeseburger & French Fries and a Tea. She asked if I wanted it to go... I said no, I'll eat it here. There were only a few tables but I found a spot. While waiting there was a group on local men (ranchers) behind me. They were chatting it up and having a good time and I'm from around here but I couldn't understand a word they were saying. A little fear creeped in as I was clearly out of my element. Just then the girl brought me my plate and I hungrily dug in. The first bite was amazing the beef flavor was the best I've ever had with melted cheese and what appeared to be home grown tomatoes and Ice cold crispy lettuce and great pickles. The French Fries were fresh cut and very hot and I salted them immediately. This turned out to be the best Cheeseburger and French Fries I've ever had and I've had them all over the United States. By half way through I needed more napkins the beef was so juicy that by the end I was looking for a garden hose to clean up with. I felt lucky to have escaped unharmed and I still don't know what those cowboys were saying, I'm sure they were plotting my demise so I just didn't make eye contact. The moral of the story is, when the girl asks you if you want it to go, get it to go!!!
