Our order was ready promptly and looked delicious. I had the number 4, which was a chicken slider and my side was crispy fries. They offered 5 heat levels, I had the number 2. They have the reaper which you have to sign a waiver. Let me just say the chicken slider and fries were delicious. Daves uses high quality chicken and you can tell by the taste. This place has me excited when it comes to the "Dave's Not Chicken" menu. I ordered Cauli Dave's #3, which is 1 Cauli Tender & 1 Cauli Slider W/ Fries. This is so delicious! Everything has that perfect crispy and a taste that melts in your mouth. The sauce and honey make it just that much better. An amazing combination. My husband ordered the Saucy Bites W/Fries. He stated the meal was crispy and fulfilling. We also ordered the Small Cauliflower Top Loaded Fries. This was another hit for me! It comes with a cheese sauce, pickles and kale slaw topped with cauli bites and a drizzle of Dave's sauce. It tastes so good! If you have never eaten here or tried the cauli menu, please try it. I highly recommend it. As always great service and clean restaurant.

The only item on the menu I could eat was a salad containing fried chicken, fried onions and croutons (I am gluten free). I had resigned myself to a pitiful protein less salad when the employee informed me that they had grilled chicken and yes, they could leave off the other items. My salad had fresh (real) lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, grilled chicken, cheese and a pepper. It was very good for a salad at a fast food restaurant. My family said the chicken tenders were better than Zaxby's and that he'll go back to Slim Chickens!

Either way, I was hoping for a better turn out, so maybe this is my cue to try another location on the next go-round:)  Besides that the location was clean, and the customer service was okay.

Don't get me wrong, the food at Cook Out is mediocre at best, but it's still one of the only fast food restaurants where you can get a large amount of food for a non-outrageous price. In terms of this particular location, the fries and nuggets weren't undercooked, which you can't say about every Cook Out in the area. Additionally, I love their Reese's Cup milkshake, and consider it one of my favorite desserts out of any fast food restaurant I've been to! As such, would recommend!

Once he got back, he was so ready to dive into it until he saw the cucumbers. The cucumbers were really soft, they looked as if they were starting to go bad. So, instead of having to drive back up there, I told hubby to let's just toss the cucumbers and replace them with new ones, a very easy fix. Other than the cucumbers, the salad was pretty good. Nothing to flip and do jumping jacks over, but they tasted good. After fixing the issue, I was content with the salad. No big complaints over here!
