I don't understand how I can go to the drive thur at 11:45am and receive cold food. They just switched over to the lunch menu. I didn't wait in line for a long period of time, so I don't understand how the fries and the burger could be cold....not luke warm, but cold! The burger was squished, I swear it was leftover from the night before. Very disappointing! The ice tea was good and the gal that handed me my food was very pleasant. I'm going to have to give up on fast food. It's crazy expensive, its not fast and barely qualifies as food. Sorry McDonald's, but I've purchased my last meal from you. Sincerely, Debbie read more

The food is good and hot most of the time. Sometimes fries are cold though. Also sometimes they forget some of your stuff.

Food is same as any other which is how it should be Service is almost non-existent. Workers are to busy with the AI components of the process to be bothered by us hungry humans. Sad, what happened to our small town happy McDonald's? A new place to park six extra cars in the drive thru so they can wait even longer for their order, remodeled to one register inside, if you can get a worker to even glance over at it once in awhile and two kiosk so we can just do it our damn selves. Very awful dining experience. The manager could be heard yelling throughout the restaurant at employees in a degrading manner, even cursing at them. Everyone in the dining room would cringe when she would yell because it was so loud and degrading. In a span of 30 minutes of us dining at the location, she yelled at employees at least 10 times and you could hear it throughout the store. The manager came out from the back once, as well, to count cups. She then started yelling at customers who were filling their cups and was degrading to them. I have never in my life witnessed such a disastrous display of treatment unto employees and I am ashamed to have watched it. Additionally, after seeing her pick on random customers and do it to them, as well, I could not wait for my kids to finish their meal and get out of the restaurant. It should also be noted that the restrooms had no toilet paper and one toilet was covered in feces. I seriously hope no one else has to experience this mess. read more

Dear Culver's hamburger lords....this is an open plea for you to rescue us here in Hillsdale. We are saddled with McDonald's, Burger King, and the ever unsanitary Wendy's as our choices for drive thru burgers. I beg you to please come open a new location maybe down the street in the new business venture on the border of Hillsdale and Jonesville. There is a new Meijer going in and it would be most helpful if you would come to the rescue of the fair citizens of Hillsdale who will be forever in your debt. Thank you. read more

I love this McDonald's, and that's after 3 years using the McDonald's on the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, the most intensely focused McDs I've ever experienced. This Hillsdale McDonald's is obviously well managed, but really my favorite part is that the staff smile, and are often personal and chatty. McDonald's in big cities are rarely this way. And yet, the food here is ready super fast. McDonald's saves my life as a mom, and when I need a big iced tea for the road, it's the only place to go for the price. Keep up the good work. read more

I'm not usually one to complain, however it seems like everytime i go to this location something is wrong. Usually when i buy large meals, the fries are filled 3/4 of the way up, so I'm used to that. Tonight I went through the drive-thru and waited almost 20 minutes, which is not unusual at this location. After getting my food, I get home and discover that not only are the frys short but not even half full. The cokes and sprites were terrible tasting and food was room temp. I called to let them know and I was very polite. After answering 10 questions and 5 minutes later I am told that they will replace the frys and drinks when i come again. Wow how nice. I eat McDonalds all the time and usually dont have these issues at any other location. read more

My wife and I have been going to this McDonald's for breakfast with our friends for a few years now and they always make us feel welcome. Food is always fresh and hot as is the coffee. They even did a remodel not too long ago and gave it a nice face lift. Nice job Hillsdale McDonald's, we look forward to coming back once we can get back out. read more

Absolutely worst service I've ever had there. I waited in the drive through for 30 mins before having to call the manager and let him know that 10+ cars in lane 2 were placing orders and we all say there. And believe it or not it wasn't notifying them there were cars in lane 1, then after we finally placed our order it magically started working perfectly! 0 stars is not an option or it would be my rating for this fast food debacle. 2 fish sandwich "value meals" and a cheeseburger for $15.03. Not seeing much value in the pricing. With that said, you think it would be relatively easy to put the sandwiches together with decent presentation. Not the case. Both fish sandwiches were half off the bun and tarter sauce globed in 1 corner and onto the box. Ketchup on cheeseburger was all over the wrapper and on top of the bun. French fries were cold. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere. Not all McDonald's are alike. read more

This McDonald's is hands-down the best restaurant in Hillsdale. The workers are really nice and friendly, even when you're rolling in at 3 AM, and it being open 24 hours is absolute salvation whether you're drunk at 2 AM or finished a paper in time for breakfast. Okay I have to give a review. I've been a customer at this McDonald's for over 10 years and it has really gone down hill. From the 20 minute wait that is almost a given anytime I go to the fries beinga little over half full. This seems to be the only mcdonalds restaurant in the area that is like this all the time. Aside from being slow a few times they have always been clean and quick. Couple of the workers are notably nice when communicating at the windows. Always gives lots of ketchup. read more
