Our family moved to the area and went to Le Vieux Chateau for brunch for the first time. Upon…read morearrival, the parking lot was full, with no available spaces. The rooms were crowded, with only one waitress per room, which made the service very slow. Our order was not served as requested. The coffee was of very poor quality, with too much water, making it taste awful. We ordered a latte, but it was barely lukewarm. As for the breakfast dish, prices seemed excessive given the experience. Overall, this brunch was a disappointment, and we won't be coming back.

I moved away from the area about 20 years ago and when I come visit this is the place I HAVE to go to before leaving again. I always seem to get the same thing and it's never disappointed. The Goodies sub, the poutine, the gyro, the pizza and the french fries. The sub is always fantastic. You can look at the pictures just to see what it's like. Open faced with fresh ingredients and always perfectly done. It's very consistent even through the years. The poutine is good sized, the fries are perfectly cooked (french canadian style) and the sauce is always, again, very consistent. The gyro is massive, you get a lot of filling and it is always well seasoned. Of course, always consistent. The bambino all dressed pizza is always a favourite of mine. The crust has always been cooked perfectly. The order of fries, well, like I said the fries are perfect if you like the typical fries of the area and the portion is very generous. The waitstaff is always very nice, I have never had a bad experience with any of them. The restaurant is always very clean on the inside and out. They pretty much have everything for anyone on their menu. It's an extremely varied menu and you are sure to find what you're in the mood for. BAM! Five stars.
