I can't say anything but I love this place! Ok, I can say other things, here goes.. I moved away from the area about 20 years ago and when I come visit this is the place I HAVE to go to before leaving again. I always seem to get the same thing and it's never disappointed. The Goodies sub, the poutine, the gyro, the pizza and the french fries. The sub is always fantastic. You can look at the pictures just to see what it's like. Open faced with fresh ingredients and always perfectly done. It's very consistent even through the years. The poutine is good sized, the fries are perfectly cooked (french canadian style) and the sauce is always, again, very consistent. The gyro is massive, you get a lot of filling and it is always well seasoned. Of course, always consistent. The bambino all dressed pizza is always a favourite of mine. The crust has always been cooked perfectly. The order of fries, well, like I said the fries are perfect if you like the typical fries of the area and the portion is very generous. The waitstaff is always very nice, I have never had a bad experience with any of them. The restaurant is always very clean on the inside and out. They pretty much have everything for anyone on their menu. It's an extremely varied menu and you are sure to find what you're in the mood for. BAM! Five stars. read more

Easily 4 stars! The menu has a great selection, and the portions are trucker size. The souvlaki is superb, surprisingly good tsaziki, as are most dishes. Staff are always pleasant and the place is always full for lunch. Been back dozens of times, a gem in an area littered with hotdog joints. read more

For a diner, the food was pretty bland. Everything needed to be seasoned. My son ordered chicken fingers and fries and was happy with his meal. The wife and I ordered chicken pita plates and while it was a nice and huge portion it was bland. The salad dressing tasted like Kraft Italian dressing, the rice had no flavour and the pitas were bland. Service was ok. Plenty of parking. Prices were ok but for a "casse croûte" i think I'll go to the DQ across the street. Disappointing to say the least.... read more

Very disappointed ordered the fish and chips! They are double cooked and what happens is that the oil is absorbed so I returned and ordered club sandwich! Would i recommend or come back? No as the food is not made to order, not fresh! And for the price, not worth it. Hopefully they can turn their restaurant around for freshness! The ladies washroom smells aweful !!! most of the food is good to excellent. Service can be slow if you go during lunch when it is packed. Only once did I have to return my meal...Smoke meat platter...asked for very,very lean and it was anything BUT lean...But most of the time it is as ordered. Just left at lunch time Thursday 23 June 2016. We waited 25 minutes without being served. I used to come her all the time, stopped for a while because if bad service, it's still bad. Food used to be good (if you ever get served). I won't be going back..fool me once fool me twice. With new franchise restaurants being built nearby this local place won't last if they don't up their game. read more

They served a microwaved slab of frozen pie. Give Gordon Ramsay a call to Hell's Kitchen. Do yourself a solid hop over to the grocery store to pick yourself up a rotisserie chicken meal and pick up a pie there. At least you know it wasn't frozen. read more
