Drive through is so slow. I go home if I drive by and there's more then 6 cars. 5 minutes a car at least every time you go

This place took like frickin forever to come to us at the counter and all of the employees were on the phones. This experience was not great

We just went through the McDonald's here in Hastings and had a disturbing experience. We watched the car in front of us be handed the wrong drink....MY drink....take a drink and hand it back. The kid in the window took it back, gave him the correct drink, guy drove off, fine. We got to the window and the kid handed us THE DRINK SOME STRANGER JUST DRANK and handed back!!!! Called over a mgr (rest of the order which was only 3 drinks total, were all wrong) to explain what happened and nothing. He more seemed to brush it off, "fixed" the drinks and still messed them up. At the very least my 1 drink should have been refunded but he just wanted us out of his drive-thru, or at least that's how he made us feel. Wow this place is dirty. Pop and ketchup area were all sticky, dirty and a complete mess. The tables were almost all dirty. The floor was sticky, the bathroom was filthy. We entered and the young man at the counter was talking to three friends. We said good afternoon how are you today in a very friendly manner. He didn't even look at us. He put his head down and said what can I get you. He took my wife's order and because he hadn't looked up he didn't see me standing there so he said ok that will be...I said hey I have to order yet, he looked at me like he was pissed off and said what do you want. The order took forever but was hot. The place was empty except for the guy that took our orders buddy's and several thugs yelling and screaming to each other across the place. When they yelled your number they would yell it and the thugs would yell it out in a drunken slurred way. What a dump. I have seen this McDonald go from a nice place to have fast food to becoming a place you see on old Charles Bronson or Clint Eastwood movies. Where the thugs run the place and seems almost unsafe for woman and children. Won't ever eat inside this location ever again... read more

McDonald's is McDonald's, right? Wellll... I don't thunk so! A goid McDonald's is fresh fries, getting your order right, moving quickly and still being pleasant. I like my burgers with no cheese and force one reason, some people find thus a complicated concept. Not so here! The staff us pleasant, my order us (almost) always right and you get your food fast and hot. What more could you ask for ftom a McDonald's? Oh! And the staff doesn't bat an eye when you order a kids you from a happy meal with out ordering a happy meal. I try not to eat McDonald's often but whdn I do, this us the McDonald's I go to. I have avoided "bad" McDonald's even when I lived closer to them so this is a compliment. read more

What a terrible experience. We showed up at 10:45 with closing time at 11pm and we saw seven staff members at the window and the manager told us to our face that they were shortstaffed and closing early ha ha ha ha they were just trying to get out of there and we will never go back. Thank God Taco Bell was still open. If we could choose zero stars we absolutely would. We will never go to any McDonald's ever again after the negligent of paying customers. August 12, 2018. About 9:10-9:25 pm We stopped here after a movie. We went thru the drive-thru. There were just 2 cars ahead of us. Not sure what the problem was, but we sat there for at least 15 minutes. If we hadn't already paid, we would have just left. The car behind us did. When we FINALLY got our food, it wasn't piping hot. We seldom stop at any McDonald's, but this SLOW service is just a reminder of why. They do have a "help wanted" sign up, but still. read more

It's McDonalds folks! Everyone in the free ( and not so free ) world knows what to expect so don't criticise it if you were looking for a gourmet meal. You are going to get one here. But if your yardstick is in the range of a $5 to $10 meal served within 5 mins. This is the place. We had a quarter pound burger, sirloin third pound and a grilled chicken club house with drinks and fries. All three sandwiches were hot and fresh. The chicken was a little sloppy because the sauce was a bit excessive but the rest were good. I think the tables were a bit messy when we first walked in but it was after the regular lunch crowd so I expected/saw the tables were cleaned within 5 minutes. Great servers. Good attitude. Thwy could have opened a second cash register but they tend to do that only during sustained peak hours. Like always- we left filled and pleased. Great job. That's what you should expect from McDonalds, consistency. read more

Terrible service. After waiting 20 minutes for our "fast food" I asked staff 1 if our order was coming up or bring prepared (our order as #254), she abruptly cut me off and said "we prepare in order of numbers." Which didn't make sense since they were calling #259. I rebuted and said "we're order 254" but was ignored. A different staff member whispered to staff 1 and asked "whatre they waiting for?" Loud enough for me to hear. I said again "we're #254 and I heard you call #259." I handed staff 2 our receipt to which she showed staff 1. Staff 1 apologized realizing she had missed our order but offered no compensation for wasting our time and being rude to us. Wendy's is better. read more

This is a McDonald's, no better not worse than any other. I will say they are quicker going through the drive through than most.

Sucked. Don't order a McChicken....was so dry and was like chewing on a belt...VERY, VERY,VERY, OVER COOKED!

I am not sure how they can miss items every single time. They screw up and forget to bag items so much it's the norm. The best part is when you call to tell them that they forgot something they act like you are frauding them. Then when you go back to get your items they forgot they have to scan through the book if screw up to find your name and the items they forgot. read more

At 930 at night this place was not that busy, llabout 20 people, but somehow very slow, waited over 15 minutes for my food. Writing this review as I wait for my food. Looks like only one person in the back making food and running drive thru. The guy behind the counter said its gonna ba a 12 minute wait because they're really understaffed. I am never coming back here, I'll drive the the slightly less crappy Cottage Grove store if i need to. The interior is nicer than the CG store, but screw this place. I applaud the one guy on back working, but the fries were cold, and the burger, well that was good and hot. read more

Came in for a quick bite before a movie. Ice cream machine down. A young employees mother came into the store and walked directly over to a customer and started screaming, vulgarly swearing and yelling at a man who was drinking a beverage while working on his laptop and calling him a pedophile because he told her daughter she was cute and had a nice smile. This was completely taken out of context and the man was just being nice. He wasn't trying to hit on her or it wasn't perverted in any way. The manager and employees didn't lift their heads from what they were doing while this was happening. One employee was actually playing his cell phone and the others were moving so slow it was ridiculous. Tables were dirty and trash was full and ready to fall pout. 5 or 6 people were working. This is by far the most unmanaged and mismanaged store I have ever been to. People have zero pride in their work and no work ethic. I will drive to Cottage Grove or Rosemount before I ever go in that store again. Lazy and sloppy describes the Hastings McDonalds. read more
