Typical McDonald's. Came here to use the restroom while driving 2 hours back home from visiting family. The restrooms were okay, not too dirty. The place itself was recently renovated so it did look nice inside. We ended up using the kiosk to order snack wraps. They came out quick and hot. Gone down hill lately. Moved here back in March of 2025 and so far it's the same mistakes as usual. 1. Never trust your sauce is in the bag, they never put them in the bag unless I ask or remind them 2. The drive thru just turns into park at that spot and wait. My goal was to go through the drive through, not wait at the mobile order pickup spot every time This is worsened when they get your order wrong cause they drop it off and walk away. So you find out after they walked back in so what, you'll just wait until they come back out again? 3. Far too often I get to the window just for them to ask me what my order was despite it being a mobile order. Even had one day the guy ask me 4 times back to back. Even took a pic of my phone and the order and still had to remind him I had a happy meal they didn't bring Lastly, what an utter waste of manpower to just have the first window be a person handing you a damn receipt. I suppose they take the orders too but wow what a waste of an additional person. They just sit and wait to hand you a receipt, they really can't be doing something else to help with the demand? I ain't one who likes to bash a fast food spot but it's just far too often the same exact mistakes every visit. It's always the same issues over and over again. Clearly it's not just a mistake. Today I went through, did 2 mobile orders. They handed me a bag with a lot of food. Turns out the 1 item from the other mobile order was not given despite me telling them it was for both. McDonald's - Big Mac® - Burgers Near Me - Groveland, Florida

OR no star. Sunday morning, drive up line. waited at least ten minutes. placed the order, repeated it 3 times, corrected the order. Got our food and it was missing #7 which was a 2 burrito meal. Our Order was not large either. So, we drove away from the window, probably 20 minutes by now. Order not right. One of the runners said he would help me, then turned around to the register and took a very complicated order. Another ten minutes. I asked another person to help me, she said/he is training me. then walked away. More waiting, I got another counter person. Turns out it the manager. I explained we were missing food. She wanted my receipt. I didn't get one. Then she had to go and find the order in the system. Pulled it and said, you didn't pay for it. By then, I was so frustrated, I gave her my bag of what little food was in it and made her refund everything. 46 minutes, left without food. I don't need free food, but you would think the manager would have taken better care of the situation. Man in line watching the chaos, said this location sucks It's always bad. read more

This is literally the least inviting restaurant. Food taste OK but employees could care less. No napkins, no sauces no straws - nothing inside the restaurant. All they care about is uber eats and drive through. Basically just eat and get the hell out. What a disgrace. read more

Once upon a time, there was the worst McDonalds location ever. Man, you go to the speaker at this location you'll be lucky they even notice you're there. Then, if you ARE lucky enough to get past the speaker, your food is wrong 96% of the time. Gave this location the benefit of the doubt waaaay too many times, now I drive to one that's further just because I know i'm getting everything I paid for. First it was some sauce, then a whole box of nuggets. I have even found a whole hair wrapped around my chicken nugget. DO NOT go to this location, you have been warned. read more

Free Fries day fail! The app was crashing and refusing to work. I could not access my points. Nearly 5 bucks for fries is outrageous and I was forced to pay for it. They didn't care I showed them the app failed. I work my ass off and don't eat out often, when I do I use points because otherwise I can't afford the food. Really pissed at how little the workers care and they demand more pay! It's absurd. Want more pay? Freaking earn it! read more

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION A friend goes to the Groveland, FL McDonald's almost daily out of necessity. They purchase a bundle meal that now is almost $10. The sandwich and fries nine times out of 10 are "inedible". The Coke is usually good, but not always. If my friend had other options they'd certainly not go to this location. Just because McDonald's is a fast food restaurant does not give them an excuse to serve bad food. McDonald's has a duty to serve the quality of food they advertise, yet they do not. When you have senior citizens on fixed incomes going to a fast food restaurant to get their only meal of the day, and they are served such food, the public deserves to know. read more

I understand that it's only McDonald's so there's not much to be expected but this place just gets worse every time. The drive thru is so slow that I could go to a dine in restaurant and be served/finish my meal in the time it takes to get my food at this McDonald's. Their fries are always burnt and my order is never correct. If you plan on ordering a large fry, don't; they'll only fill it half way. The workers also don't wear gloves when handling the food. When I last visited I pointed out to the manager that one of her employees was putting burgers together and wrapping them up without gloves on for all of us customers to see. She told him to put gloves on but did not have him remake any of the food he had already wrapped up with his bare hands... Needless to say everybody in the restaurant demanded to have their food redone, she refused. We all left with refunds. read more

Adequate McDonald's. Service and food typical. We visited during a busy lunch time and service was correct and fast. Tried theGrand Mac Not a fault of the restaurant but it was not great. Burgers and bun s had trouble aligning so you end up with leftover bun. Wasn't as tasty as original Big Macs. Do love the mocha frappes! read more

this location literally can't get any order right. i've made the mistake of coming to this location multiple times just because of the convenience and they continue to let me down. i've had food items missing, received wrong items, and even had missing meat on my sandwiches. the district manager was in contact with me for a very short period then suddenly stopped responding. this location needs some serious work. read more

This place is so slow. They have two drive thru speakers but you still sit and wait forever just for someone to get on the mic and take your order. It shouldn't take 30-45 minutes to get through the drive thru during a slow time. It took me 40 minutes from start to getting my food and there were 3 cars in front of me. Unbelievably incompetent staff. The wait is ridiculous, and not because it's busy. I've been sent to waiting spot 1 with no other cars in front or behind me and it was still 15mins before I got my food. Mainly because they brought me the wrong order twice!! The manager I spoke with, Sandy, was rude and argumentative. Terrible customer service. She made no attempt to make things right. This place just gets worse. Had not stopped here for a long time, but decided to try it again. My mistake. The service is just as slow, and the food is terrible. I ordered a filet o fish, and didn't mind waiting for a freshly fried piece of fish. This would have been great, except the bun must have been a week old. The sweet tea was on the verge of souring, and fries over salted. I've reviewed this location in the past, and thought they might improve if enough people gave bad marks. I've lived in groveland for six years now, and a couple of years ago I would have given this particular establishment one star for slow service, cold/old food, being dirty, and slow. Since about the time they added the second lane most of that had improved, other than being slow. It seems that, no matter what you order or something when, they hurriedly rush you to park to wait Like for a small fry and a drink, I waited six minutes parked, even though there was only other two people in line behind me (they also got moved to parking too). The heck is up with that? It also makes getting the wrong or having things missing (human error, I understand that) particularly aggravating, since I then have to unbuckle toddlers and haul us all back inside, or else wait an additional 4-10 minutes in line (depending on the length of drive-thru line). read more

I have repeatedly tried to give this Mcdonald's a chance. But, everytime I am still proven that I made a wrong choice. The food is always room temperature if not cold. The service from the employees is terrible. The employees are rude and cuss right in front of you or they will start flirting with each other instead of taking your order or making the food. I can't ever ask for anything extra because I never receive what I am charged for. I wouldn't have such a big issue if I wasn't charged for extra onions, pickles or etc., I am still truly surprised that this resturant has lasted as long as it has. My expectations are never set high for a McDonalds, but while in the drive thru around 11:30pm on 10/31/16 the women whom took my order and accepted my payment was yelling at the top of her lungs and laughing while the window of the drive thru was open. This was not only irritating, rude, and childish it was flat out unprofessional. The inconveniences that this McDonalds provides never ceases to amaze me. The ice cream machine almost never works. I ask for lemon in my tea and they almost never have it in stock.
