Food was good, but this girl that works there was very snarky and was talking loudly about why we were waiting. She didn't bother to ask why, or come up to the register and see what the problem was. I go here typically once every other month. I cannot express how bad this McDonald's is compared to others. They get my order wrong probably 60% of the time. Every time I get two double quarter pounders with extra pickle. Most the times they either have 3 or less pickles or they don't even put pickles on and there have been times where they gave me single quarters. When they do get it right, I have to wait 10 minutes for them to cook my quarter patties, which I would understand if I wasn't going during lunch or dinner hours, which should be expected, but what do I know. I don't like ripping on the service industry, but I feel it needs to be addressed, which is the reason for this review after the continued struggles the past 10 years of living here. Lol. read more

Absolutely sucked worker didn't pay attention at all and had us pay for the wrong order then after that charged us for our order without telling us how long the refund would take til we asked then got confused why the card declined after they just charged us $30 and then charged us again for our order. Then we got our food and they didn't even fill the fries all the way nor did they mix in my McFlurry they also handed us the wrong food and then we had to tell them again that it wasn't our order. Worker acted dumbfounded acting like he didn't do anything wrong and would not take responsibility just laughed at the situation. This doesn't even deserve one star. read more

There are not a lot of places to eat in this town, and McDonald's is a hot spot with how busy they are. The food was consistently good, the employees were polite, and the drive-thru was a good pace. No complaints! read more

i always order only onions with my burgers but this entire month they've under seasoned, over seasoned, gave me one only onions and one only ketchup, put mayonnaise on the spicy crispy chicken, one time i got a under half full McFlurry that cost me the 4.39 that I should 100% of the time be getting full, that's a mistake only somebody with no intention of working could do. the burger that I'm eating right now is about to fall out of the bun with three little flakes of minced onions, these workers need to be delt with. They get my order right but when it's that short plump manager can't think of her name, but she works nights as their manager at night. With the other managers except for Leah, Everything runs smoothly as clockwork. Most of the staff I interact with are super friendly, And I'm kind of a regular there on Thursdays after a long day. When it's the short plump lady that works management at night everything is wrong. She makes everything half ass and she berates her employees, Good meal, when there's one certain manager in there who I can't say her name but I don't know it on top of my Tongue It's pandemonium Central. Poor customer service. Long wait times. Indifference to general hygiene (hands of person taking my money for my last order made me pray he wasn't touching the food). Last two orders were missing an item I had ordered (a cheese burger on the previous, a ten piece mcnugget on this one). Now, when you can actually go to a sit down restaurant and actually spend as much or less on food at McDonalds, is not the time for fast food places to start screwing up. This McDonald's is NOT 24/7! What's the point of putting a sign on I-80 and at the exits there is a McDonald's here if it's not open 24/7? Likewise, if you are ordering food from the drive up, how hard is it to add some napkins with the order, where I come from it's not ok to wipe my face with my hands and then on your blue jeans. Maybe it's ok in Grinnell, but maybe this is partially why this McDonald's location can't rate above two stars on Yelp. read more

It is always a 20-25 minute wait for food even with one person in the drive through and one table waiting in the lobby. At least the order is usually correct. The woman manager is loud and obnoxious to her employees. If there was another fast food burger restaurant in town, we would happily go there. read more

During the Coronavirus why are you not using gloves? I feel like a new set of gloves should be worn with each new customer. I don't think it would hurt to have staff wash their hands after each order as not to spread germs and/or contamination. read more

We got our food, I guess that gets a two star. That said, the food we got was cold, should have been thrown out hours before. We didn't even eat the chicken selects as they had that dried out dark color look to them and were un chewable. Filet o fish was no better. Unfortunately we were home before we inspected the food past just making sure we got the right thing. In short, instead of preparing fresh food, they apparently keep it under the warmer all day until someone orders it. read more

I love it soooooooooo much because the ice cream and sweet tea and they clean about 5 to 6 to limes a day.

Over a 6 month period I've eaten here 3 times and have gotten sick each time. Terrible stomach pains and you can figure out the rest. I will not be eating here again read more

This is the worst McDonald's yet. The old lady at the counter kept getting mad for everything and she had a nasty attitude. The work service was really slow don't waists your time and instead stop at a different McDonald's because this one is awful. read more

If you want good service looks no further, if you step on a recently mopped spot on the floor you will have the absolute privilege of getting to mop the floor. One of the employees had the absolute nerve to had me and my friend the mop and told us to mop up the floor. If that isn't the best customer service ever then I don't know what is. Your typical McDonald's that is all there is to it. They are a bit skimpy on their ice cream options though. I have been disappointed to find my McFlurries and my sundaes only three-quarters way full. They keep it pretty clean and the service is much friendlier than your average McDs. read more

Stoped in during the lunch hour with our granddaughter. The cashier assisted us while taking our order. We were given an number and we went to get our water. When we started looking for a table, there were none available. A couple who were finished and talking saw we were looking so the motioned to us and got up and left. By the time we sat down the food was being brought out to us. Restrooms and lobby was clean, service fast and the food good. read more
