The chicken sandwhiches are usually juicy so no need to worry about that. We were regular customers at the Hwy 42 store, and were happy to find one just over yonder when we moved to our new home in Goldsboro last week. Hot, tired, cranky and hungry, it was great to get the next best thing to home cookin'! Smithfield's serves up fresh, crispy fried chicken, hush puppies, pulled pork, Brunswick Stew, potato salad, baked beans - all the best southern homestyle for a reasonable price. There's a plate or a family sized-box sure to cure your hungries, and it tastes like your mama's or grandma's best Sunday dinner. Customer service is outstanding, and they'll make you feel like family at every visit. I've never had a bad experience anytime, anywhere - they'll meet your standards no matter which store you walk into. If you're having a party, unexpected company, having a bad day and need comfort food, or are just too tired to cook, Smithfield's Chicken and 'cue can take care of you. I highly recommend the Tailgate Special with Bar-B-Q; it feeds the four of us with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. Their pulled pork is Carolina classic, and so is the Brunswick Stew. Enjoy, and bring your appetite.

Pee soaked TP on the floor. One stall with no light. Baby change table dirty / broken. While we were in there, grandpa was trying to order from the kiosk- but couldn't because it stopped him at the drinks that were all grayed out. So he stood on line to order at the counter. Turns out, they were completely out of soft drinks - really!!? No one said a word as people were trying to order on kiosks. Just let them stand there and get frustrated. If he hadn't already ordered by the time we came from restroom- we would've left! I sit at a table with the kids and use a Clorox wipe from my pocketbook to clean the table - which looked like it hadn't been wiped down all day. He gets the food... my fish was WAY overcooked- pretty much burned. And it was cold, as were the fries. My husband's Qtr Dlx was ice cold too. He took his back as it was inedible. They apologized and gave him another, but it was barely lukewarm. He ate it anyway. I had a bite or two of the fish, but threw most of it - and the fries away... in the overflowing garbage. One kid's nuggets were burned and ice cold, the other's cheeseburger was lukewarm. This is 100% the worst McDonalds I have ever been in. If this is the best you can do - shut the doors and stop ripping people off. $28.12 for pure garbage. Ridiculous. Disgusting. I'm honestly disappointed in myself that I didn't march up and demand a full refund! No way we should've even tried to eat that crap - or feed it to our grandkids. The only reason we stopped in the first place was because the kids wanted McDonalds.
