The drive thru was slow just like other businesses so I went indoors. Twenty minutes for an iced coffee and hot coffee. The long wait was for anyone to take my order. They get busy and mostly with delivery orders. The drive thru wasn't too bad. What appears to be happening is that employees do not stress themselves to fulfill orders in a timely manner. You get your items when they feel like getting to you. This is the mood at BK too. If you happen to read this from the interstate, just keep going to the next exit! I not recommend this restaurant,you want waiting for 45 minutos for one order visit this location is amazing ,you waste you money ,you waste you time and your gasoline ,The amount of time it takes to get the food is ridiculous; they took 40 minutes for just three sandwiches. I placed my order ahead of time to avoid a long wait, yet I still waited nearly 40 minutes. What are those employees doing to treat customers this way? I don't understand why the owner doesn't come by one night; it's supposed to be a fast-food restaurant, yet the time it takes to get your food is absurd. This is unacceptable! Linda should be fired, immediately! First of all, once i went into my local McDonalds, Christan wasnt here, but Linda was! I ordered a big mac with two fantas, and a large fry. But, i got NOTHING! Linda starting harassing me and taking photos and videos of me! The food was absolutely disgusting once i actually got something! I left this McDonald's feeling more furious than a drone caught in a windstorm. The service was exact, in that they exacted every ounce of patience from me. Ordering felt like giving birth to a complicated order while the staff looked at me like I'd just won the lottery but didn't share. It was as organized as a Martin Luther King Jr. speech translated by a malfunctioning robot. The food arrived colder than the manager's stare when I dared to ask for ketchup, and the fries were saltier than my mood after leaving. If you enjoy existential crises and questioning your life choices, this place might be for you. This morning around 9am I ordered a Sausage Mc Gill with two Hash Browns and coffee. After paying went to the second window. After handed the wrong order; was told to go park at number three. The window was about 10 feet from the car. My car was in view. I waited over 15 minutes before having call the store. They claimed they did not know I was waiting. I knew this was untrue. So bad.... I'm delivering for door dash so I tried to go inside, there was a sign stating for delivery drivers to ring the bell so I did. A worker come out asked for my pick up number. (The people in the dining room where sitting around but they weren't customers not I'd sure if they were staff but none of them were eating). A couple min later she came back and told me I had to go through the drive thru so I did and after 20 min of waiting in line I got the food and took it to my customer. It was the wrong order. I called dash support and went back in the drive through staff was not helpful at all. They do not care and take forever. read more

After the order was placed I proceeded to pay. After paying $28 for an order of 27.52 the cashier only gave back a receipt with no change . I had to beep the horn twice to get her attention to let her know that the change was missing. After waiting I received the change( still not the correct but I said for get it .) Then I proceeded to get my food . I was given the food and then the apple juices . Then the workers at the window just stood there and just stared at me as if they were ready for me to move and talking amongst each other. After I pulled forward I realized they hadn't given me my frappe so I went in to get and and noticed it was sitting right behind the workers that handed me my food . I told the person in charge that they didn't hand me my drink through the window. He grabbed it and brought it over. I spoke TO MYSELF that had the workers just turned around and stopped staring at me they would have seen the drink sitting right behind them. The person in charge called me rude and when I reached for the drink he pulled back and said I was being disrespectful and that I could get a refund instead . Had the man in charge just Simply asked what happened he would have known that the drink was a free drink from the app. I accepted the free refund and left. Hate is a strong word but I absolutely hate this location. In my four years of living in Gary they have never gotten a single order correct. I had my husband order me a black iced coffee, no cream and no sugar syrup. I was going to add it at home. They still added cream and sugar, and when he complained, they got mad and refunded him the money because they said they had no more iced coffee, forcing him to drive to Dunkin Donuts to get the right thing for me. Wow! Really? The drive thru is slower than molasses in January. The drive thru workers have the worst attitude and have zero customer service skills. They talk to you like you are bothering them, especially if they mess something up and you bring it to their attention. I would rather drive the 15 minutes into the Hobart 24 hour McDonald's to avoid the headache. Avoid this location like the plague! You will not be happy with the results. read more
