I stopped in at Pilot, because I wanted a cup of the Intense Energy coffee. My husband was in the car, and he wanted a cup of coffee as well. I went in thinking I could get a cup holder, because I walk with a can. They were out of them. You know how you ask a person about an item or something, and they kind of blow you off, well Natalia went and searched for some for me. When she returned, she told me they didn't have anymore. I was like don't worry about it. As I was gathering my things, I saw a look if concern in her face. She asked if she could help me out the door. I told her no thank you, my husband was outside. Little does she know that it meant the world to me. She was so nice, and to find customer service of that source is a rarity. Stopped by here to use the restroom. The parking lot looked a bit sketchy, but the store inside was fine. They had lots of fresh Cinnabons for sale. I also saw pizza and other hot foods for sale. There is also a Subway attached if you want other food options. The bathroom was fairly nice and clean. read more

Dump...no way to say it nicely. Pulled up and inserted credit card and everything went to slo-mo. Finally went in and stood behind 8 others needing help. The manager was floating around and didn't know where to help. When I get to the front of the line they tell me to try a different pump. This place has a bunch of broken pumps so unless you are here for cigarettes, do yourself a favor and go across the street to the BP. read more

The smell of Cinnabon slapped me when I opened the door, and a nice woman was welcoming us. Can you imagine a truck stop that smells like Cinnabon ? awwww you get a fresh cinnabon, fresh made gourmet coffee bar at cheap prices. They direct you to the clean bathrooms and lawd jesus the women runnin the place are bosses. Parking is limited, not bad but not good either. Kind of a hassle to get in and out during the day. Bathrooms weren't as clean.

Considering the entire country is in a state of crisis, truckers have no become targets and with rest areas being closed, truckers being forced to sleep wherever they can find space even in dangerous areas there's is a lady running ariund banging on trucks and still forcing them to pay to park when most truck stops have lifted their restrictions to accommodate the fact that they would have nothiNg not even a clipboard to wave at people if it weren't for truckers. I've never been one to try to skate on a service provide but as dangerous and important as our job is it would be nice if the places truckers spend so much money at were given a bit of a break in the current state of emergency instead of someone rolling around with a severe attitude as though we are inconveniencing her somehow. This review will be shared on other platforms as well‍ Ps. They have 17 unpaid parking spot available online I just checked which means I'm not actually inconveniencing a paying customer this person at this establishment simply want the profit. You will have a hard time finding me at a gas station that is not a Speedway. My loyalty to that company is second to none. We stopped here out of convienience and there was no Speedway in sight. I don't expect much from a gas station especially if it off a highway somewhere especially if it is Gary, IN. We stopped here late on New Year's Day to top off the tank and stretch our legs and get something to drink. The place was well lit and did not seem shady at all. The store inside was clean and the clerk was friendly. The one thing that struck me as odd was the little spread they had laid out. 99 out of 100 times I would never buy food from a gas station. It is usually not all that good and has been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. This place had pizzas, chicken wings, fries and all kinds of other stuff prepared for purchase. The food actually looked appetizing! If I was not so full from the dinner that I just ate, I would have been more than willing to sample their fare! read more

The truck Stop itself is descent. The customer service at the Cinnabon station was puss poor.. The lady made me want to be rude right back, but the rest of the staff was great.. I stay here from time to time cause of the JJ's Fish restaurant next door.. Great food.. read more

Cat ( Clerk 2071) is such an awesome employee. Very friendly. I wanted to purchase a tie dye hoodie and noticed that there were several threads unraveled and asked Cat if there was anyway I could have a small discount on it. She took the time to ask instead of just saying no, and I got $5 off. She was also very pleasant and not annoyed by my request whatsoever. She price checked an item for me also. I also got two pieces of pizza. When I went to pay, my debit card wasn't going through for some reason. I walked outside to call my bank and the issue was fixed. Cat told me she had put my pizza under the warmer for me so it wouldn't get cold. Excellent customer service and such a nice person!! I only go out of my way to write reviews for a specific person/employee when they are genuinely nice, have a great attitude, and care. Especially when they go out of their way to help me.
