This is the MCD we have on Turney. For all the good and all the bad. We have this McDonald's and they have me. From sea to shining sea, and overseas, you can nuggets and Mac sauce. But this McDonald's has my back, so I've got theirs. I have Big Macs, QPCs, Filets, nuggets. Breakfast. Iced Tea, coffee, happy meals, McRibs. The Regulate what is important. They have a tough job trying to keep everyone happy. Sometimes they don't get around to clean as much as they like. But everyone loves these fries. Ice cream cones.. I know some of the reasons this place struggles to be perfect. Because it's not easy to keep every single man, woman, and child satisfied at our McDonald's. But when it hits the fan, the young MAN in charge today stepped up and protected me from an unruly, foul-mouthed group of our future adults picked the wrong old man to mess with. The Man in charge practically put his arm around me and said "leave this MAN alone!!" To the group of youths. The names they called me were not fit to print in this space. But I gave them some names right back. So I guess I coulda backed down. But I'm a MAN. So I served up some disrespect right back. In the old days, they Mama woulda whooped they asses if they heard what this group of punks did. R'mandre (sorry if that's misspelled) had my back, and he seems to be the manager in charge. He and I both agreed this was a matter for the police to assist us. No cap. We didn't want that, we needed the help of the police to make sure nobody got hurt. The kids hurled disrespect and epithets. They hurled drinks and objects. Then the bounced right out the door by the cops, the manager and me, JZ. I'm happy I stopped in. I know there's McDonald's that don't have to deal with these types of kids. I'm sad it came to this. But in the end, I say, FIVE STARS. The Cops, the manager and myself made sure we could all enjoy a nice sunset. I was assaulted and I'm not even mad. Bro. No. Not today. Not never. read more

JUST LOOK AT THE OTHER REVIEWS. Also -- They WILL NOT give receipts at this location!! Save your time and money!! They simply say "we don't do receipts". They hand you 1/2 of your prepaid order and hope you get back in the 9-car line to get what you paid for. Look at how NANCY HOUSE, OWNER of this location responds to you after you reach out to corporate about her theft and despicable behavior. Any customer complaints? The owner NANCY HOUSE will call, pass you off to another associate on answer, and then call you a liar and laugh in the background of the phone call while asking you to reference the receipt you were never given while continuing to call you a liar over the entire order. This is a despicable location with even more pathetic owners. Should be seriously ashamed of themselves pretending to run a business read more

When I order my fillet fish sandwich,. I thought there was gonna have fish, but when I open the box, there was no fish Just cheese and sauce Obviously I was very disappointed. I couldn't even eat my sandwich. Luckily, I had a piece of frozen fish in my freezer that I put in the air fryer and slapped on my sandwich because I didn't feel like going back to the McDonald's. read more

I never read reviews prior to leaving my own. But I'm always concerned why the business has one star. But when I order my food. I get 5 star service and food. I was greeted professionally via intercom. I was served quickly at both windows. My food tasted great. I had no problems. So why does this place have low stars. This question needs to be answered by the owner. Because I don't see it. read more

This location is the worst one around, I'm so glad I chose not to work here! They always have the worst customer service, management and crew members are always horse playing and talking loud while saying obscenities in front of customers. The dining room is constantly dirty, and bathrooms are apparently not cleaned regularly like they're supposed to be. They need to hire some new employees because they treat this place like a playground and not like a JOB! They seem like they just don't care about the workplace and it's just sad. The food always takes forever especially after 6/7 PM. My nuggets were good but that's only because the person ahead of me ordered two 50 piece nugget boxes so they were made fresh. And the pies were good, but not hard to mess up considering they just have to bake them in the oven. Sorry to hate on this place but I'm just speaking the truth! read more

spent my whole 30 min break waiting on food that never came, ended up just leaving. How does a fast food joint manage to have such slow service. Can't even go get my money back because none of the kiosks have a receipt. No one will serve u at the counter that's for sure. read more

FYI: This review is for anyone considering a job opportunity a McDonald's on Turney Rd. My daughter just left a position there for unfair treatment. If have a social condition or are a teen most likely you going to be mistreated. There is a lot of yelling at the workers by the Supervisor/manager. I spoke to the owner he referred to the employee as "those people ". He is more worried about making money than how the staff is being treated. Be careful before taking a job there. If you do speak up for yourself. If anyone else had a bad experience please post. Endora Potter read more

Owner owns both locations in Garfield height and it's very poor service , old food , incompetent workers maybe they should go up on they pay or come work the restaurant their self instead of hiring lazy women and men who give you old food , nasty attitude.... save your self the trip the owner has a no refund policy even if you don't leave with the food BUT IT DOESNT SAY IT ANYWHERE read more

Such a GREATTTT place, ordered a cheese burger large meal, the service here is outstanding, a nice young man took the time out of his day to make sure everything I got was correct for me. 10/10 would go here again and the managers here are great and the place is great. The ambiance and vibe here is always bright and is totally a safe place to bring your kids! read more

We just went through the McDonald's drive-thru at the Turney Rd location. Not only did we sit and wait for over 10 min, but when I received my order, it was wrong. I ordered a sausage biscuit with cheese, no cheese on the sandwich and I was charged for the extra for the cheese. 2 Sausage, egg & cheese McMuffins, no bread. Again, charged extra for cheese that we did not receive. Not a difficult order. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to that location again. Every time I go, something is either wrong or forgotten. I don't mind paying extra for the extra things I want, but I don't appreciate paying extra and then not receiving what I paid for. read more

horrible customer service will not recommend and i waited literally 20 minutes for nuggets just for them to taste like rubber

Two Fridays in a row and both times received fish sandwiches that were old. like they were sitting around and enough tarter sauce for 6 sandwiches on one. Won't come back 3 times. read more

Literally the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to, and I'm including the Wendy's that gave me food poisoning twice.

This is by far the worst McDonald's I ever attended in my life. I was just there today all I ordered was a coffee and a plain English muffin toasted dark I was behind at least five cars and when I pulled up to the window they wanted to pull me up to wait on some damn toast. And then the manager comes over and she whisper something to the worker at the window and said a cuss word and when I asked her what she said of course she act like she didn't say anything. Needless to say the service there is horrible my fiance went there the other day and order the quarter pounder with cheese when he got home it was Bloody meat red. Then they had to nerve to make him wait over 10 minutes for another sandwich this place needs management to step in and step up and stop hiring a bunch of kids and people that don't take pride in their work. A very unprofessional place and I will never go there again read more

The slowest service and its every time I come. I was waiting at the speaker to order for over 5 min! I watched THREE cars order at the other speaker before I was even placing my order. Wow. F****** ridiculous. It's McDonald's! Not rocket science. read more

I went today to the one on Rockside, ordered the sausage/egg cheese McGriddle, with a black coffee.Menu board said$6.19.Come to the window and the cashier from hell with the bad acne, said $6.48.I said no,it's $6.19!!! in a very rude and condescending tone, she said," that's if you get a pop,you have an upgrade. What!!!! I said instead of holding up this line,go get your manager. He brought his flaming self to the window and said "$6.48!! I said she already said that. It's $6.19 on the board. He had the nerve to say that the coffee is extra."I said then what makes it a meal?" He grunted swirled his head, and gave it to me for the corrected price.Unbeknownst until afterwards, flaming dude took the order, but charged me for a medium coffee,in which I didn't ask for,so the polite young man who handed me my order, said,we already had the medium fixed,so you can have this.Instead of the flaming manager just explaining his own mistake,he wants to get an attitude.I realize that fast food workers are a hot commodity right now,but some of the ones that work at these places have taken rude to a whole new dimension, simply because they know as long as they show up,they won't get fired.I definitely won't visit this place again, read more

Worst experience ever.....went through the drive thru, paid, saw the 2 cars in front of me get told to go to the side, got to the window, she handed me my smoothie, told me to park, and shed bring out the rest...i sat with my son and waited, then we noticed that my smoothie was filled with lemon wedges, so we waited while chick went from car to car asking did u have this or this...opening bags, putting her face in the bags, anyways, she walked past my car, i said, excuse me, theres lemons all in my strawberry banana smoothie...- she was nice- "ill get u a new one"- brings out my food(20 mins later)...and i said u forgot the pop and my smoothie...she said, youre gna have to come in for that....i said i have to come in for a pop, and she screamed at me, its her day off and theyre short staffed....she screamed loud enough, for the other cars that were waiting were shocked..no wonder theres a sign that says no refunds, we'll fix it...they expect u to fix it. read more

This has to be the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. I just got my kids food from here and I wish I could go get ALL my money back. The fries were cold, the large fry wasn't even full, the chicken nuggets were hard, the bacon was burnt and the biscuits were hard. We will NEVER come back. Keep your money and go across the street to Wendys or Mr. Hero. read more

Worst service ever. Sat at the window for almost 15mins. 6 cars in the parking lot. No one asked for our order. We left.

Customer service could be better but good as usual. Always fills ice cream sundae to the top

Personally I dread coming to this location simply because of the staff, absolutely awful in every aspect, how can you want to be paid more than minimum wage and not properly do your job. I don't even attend and won't ever attend this McDonald's, I'll go to independence instead. McDonald's help us out and shut down this location. read more

Not much has changed since my last review. The drive through lady was really nice which was a nice change of events. However, I have one important question : how do you forget the cheese on the cheeseburger? It's not rocket science read more

Who in their right mind rates McDonald's?? And who in their right mind keeps track of how many times/year they go to a McDonald's? Obviously someone who has a lot of time on their hands! All McDonald's are better in the mornings because the veterans work at that time. The evenings are staffed with kids and therefore the work ethic and standards suffer. This is the standard for nearly every single McDonald's in the United States. I suggest venturing off of Turney Rd and reviewing some actual restaurants where they have real plates and perhaps even some servers! read more
