Did a mobile order May 2nd for a Fish sandwich with lite tarter sauce. It was about inch thick with sauce. Fries were to be no salt. Had salt. Called and said next time Fish is free. Went in on May 3rd and got sandwich and ordered no salt fries and a soda. You could here them stating they wished people would quit special orders. Drink sat for over 10 minutes letting ice melt. I wish I could leave negative stars . This place is a FNG joke . Been in galion 3 years and try my hardest to avoid this place . Where do I begin . First off if I place an order and say no ketchup I don't want to get half way down the road and ketchup is on everything . Now the drive thru . I have sat in the drive thru for 40 minutes or longer over nothing than asked to pull up and wait another -5 minutes or longer. Place has the worst food and always sloppy and cold fries or way over salted . Can't count how many times Coca Cola was just soda and no flavor . Milk shakes are like water . And just rude to me when they cause an issue . Had an employee take me to the side and tell me I just need a job and just work here and said I don't even eat here and said trust me do t eat the food here as you do t want to k ow why just stay away and apologized . What happened to McDonald's I loved . It's now the worst rest ever and getting worse every day . They blame it on bad employees and pay . Then pay them more and hire good people . FOOD and SERVICE I called to ask if they serve cold food since our food was cold when we got home, which is less then 6 minutes away. I was told our food comes out fresh so I can't understand how your food would be cold. When I again asked and stated my food was cold I was basically again told the same. He did ask if I had my receipt and h told him no because I was not asked if I wanted my receipt when I was in line. Again he says well we have been running great tonight and our food is fresh! I asked to speak to this persons manager( person I was speaking to was the manger on the floor as he stated) I then asked I want a phone number that I can call tomorrow to call your manager and then I was hung up on by a manager of McDonalds!! Really spend over $30.00 and get cold food, no sauce and that type of service from a manger!! I will drive a half hour and go somewhere else before I go back to Galion McDonalds! This McDonald's used to have great food and great workers, but their overall quality has declined significantly over the past few years. They can't get an order correct to save their lives and the food is always cold, hard, and just atrociously thrown together with no care in the world. I understand that when you get busy and in a rush stuff happens, but come on. Tonight I waited 15 minutes, even though there was no one behind me nor in front of me, and the food was still cold. Anytime I've ever spoken to an employee/manager they've been nice, but that's the only thing they've got going for them since brain cells seem to be lacking. Thought I'd give them another try. Should have went somewhere else. First, drive-thru was slow. I expected this since it always is. Second, an employee was messing around and threw something at coworker that flew out and hit my vehicle. Third, food was horrible like always. This McDonald's is probably the worst I have ever experienced. Like, it's McDonald's, I get it. One of the experiences that I had, was pretty bad. Ever since they started the app, I always place my order via app and drive to see the line situation . I used car side pick-up because as usual the line was crazy long. I'm not one for sitting in line for 20 minutes burning fuel waiting for McDonald's employees to get their act together. So, my order comes out and I didn't realize that the employee didn't bring out my drinks. We ordered food, drinks and cookies. Food and cookies came out, the employee only has two hands, so I totally understand why he would have forgotten the drinks and myself as well. However, after trying to call the restaurant periodically over hours of time the line was always busy and I could not reach a soul. I finally gave up and left a review from the receipt. They responded and I got a coupon for 1 "free drink" though I paid for 2 that were never received. Almost laughable. read more

If you like getting all of the food you ordered then this probably isn't the place for you to go. Never make it out of the parking lot without having to go inside. Once again for the umpteenth time, my order is screwed up. You would think that when you order one thing, there might be a pretty good chance that your order might be correct. I guess it must be really tough to distinguish between a sweet tea & an unsweet tea, but they constantly screw it up. Drinks, toppings for sandwiches, ice cream machine is down are three of the most common problems. I laughed at one of the other reviewers when they mentioned one of my favorite pet peeves. I'll say I just need a sweet tea,followed by a lengthy pause on the other end, & then the voice at the other end says, "Will there be anthing else?" What part of "just need" do you not understand? Also, why are the nationally advertised specials not honored at the local McDonalds? Typical lame-a_ _ McDonalds. Employees are more concerned about getting caught up with what happened at a party the night before, or who is dating whom, instead of doing their job. They wait until you pay for your food then tell you that they don't have any and you're going to have to 'pull over and wait'. I'd rather just order something else (or nothing at all for that matter) than wait 5 minutes for them to bring fries out, but that's not an option- you've already paid at that point, so your only choices are wait and hope they get it to you in a timely manner or lose the money and leave. read more
