The food was what you expect from McDonald's and came out quickly. The main issue was cleanliness. With so many people coming in at once, the dining area really needed to be tidied up. Tables and floors could have been cleaner. Overall, it's a convenient place, especially during busy after school hours, but better attention to cleanliness would make the experience much better. read more

The store now has a new front counter that never has anyone manning the registers to take your order. The atmosphere feels like a rest stop concession where the employees can hide off to the side. They prioritize the drive through customers, and don't care about the people who come into the store. What kinda crap is this??? I really like enjoy this McDonalds. It's up to date and always clean. I don't get visit this location as often as I'd like so errtime I do it has a new amenity. As there are no Zero Star options, I am forced to give One Star. The same applies to McDonald's corporate Customer (Dis)service. This is apparently what this location considers a full order of Large Fries to be. Cannot call them to complain because the phone number they list on the web and at McDonald's Corporate is a Fax number. They obviously do not want to speak with anyone. I told McDonald's Corporate I want my entire order refunded ( what is a McDonald's dinner with fries?). They took the information but didn't promise any response nor any refund nor any apology. Okay will admit I haven't stopped in McDonald's in some time, but will have to say they are really upping their game technology wise. My older sister was in desparate need of a Mc Cafe coffee. New mom with a headache of daily struggles of being a new parent and being shut in sorta speak, you get what they want. After church i did as requested and stopped by local Franklin Avenue McD's to satisfy that request. Initially was almost hit on way in as I was going straight with the green light and another car was rushing to make a right turn on red to get into lot. Guessing they wanted better position ahead of me in drive thru. So let's just say I opted to go inside and I was pleasantly surprised. McD's looks nothing like it use to as its decked out Panera style with self service stations. Talk about convenience and knowing your order will be correct. The food is good,l. However the service is ridiculous, especially for pick up. They will yell at you if you're picking up an order. The lady at the drive thru as well has no regards for customer service. The ambiance is crazy here, if you're not placing an order in person, forget about respect and integrity with the staff. My husband and I order many coffees and other drinks every single week. The VERY wide and VERY short spanish girl who works the drive thru is awful. She fills the costly drinks only 7/8 full, FAR from the top and FAR from the line inside the cups. We have repeatedly asked her to fill to top but she won't. Really slow because their staff turnover rate is so high but we come there for the play place so, oh well. Most of the time it's clean and he has a really good time and honestly that's really all I care about. Plenty of parking. Drive through is cool too because you're not stuck in it forever. Easy convenient location in between hempstead Turnpike and the southern state. I like that they have a light at the main entrance/exit. And whoever the idiot that works there (says a lot of where you work) (you're useless) made a strawberry banana smoothie and slapped some disgusting whipped cream and made it pass as a strawberry milkshake. I really love this McDonalds! It looks like it has been recently updated. Tables are clean and service is exemplary. Everyone is on board with smiles and courtesy. There's a play place that's great for smaller kids and a hoops area that older kids seem to like. But my favorite part about this McDonalds? They have table service! It's so luxurious! You still order at the registers, but after you can sit and the food is promptly brought to your table. Kudos to the friendly servers! read more

By far the best McDonalds I've ever been to and I have dine in many across the country! Firstly, they have a play area which now a days is rare. Plus its a clean one at that, it looks like they mop and wipe down at least once a week. Now here is the headliner: they have table service which means once you order, you receive a number and they bring you your meal to your table!!!! And if that wasn't enough for you, they ask if you want free refills of coffee or cold beverages like they would in a dinner or such. My only complaint would have to be the temp in the play area. Most of the time its too cold in there and the day I finally dress the kids for it, it was extremely hot inside there. To whom it may concern: I was raised in Elmont and attended valley stream north high school as a teenager. I've been living here for about 31 years and have been more than a frequent costumer so I I hope my complaint doesn't fall to deaf ears. As of tonight the young lady working in between the hours of 1 :30 am and 3:00 am just lost me and about a family of 10 as costumers. Maybe we repeated our order a little too much for her liking (2 times) or maybe she was having a more than off day, however we've been frequenting this establishment since I was a kid! And NEVER have I've been met with such negative disappointing upsetting stomach curling vomit inducing substandard costumer service. I hope you guys can make up for this. I just want to say kudos to this particular location for having someone in their crew that has a special needs, she smiles, always walking around with her walking aid making sure counters and tables are clean and she seems to know most of the customers. McDonald's should hire more people to build their confidence in life and self-esteem and it is also great for the community. It is actually my first time to this location. Hey. It's a McDonalds. For what it is, I think the food and drinks are ok. I've found there is consistency in the quality of beverages, salads and French fries. You can get breakfast that is hot and cheap for under $3, sometimes under $2 if there's a special. In the morning there's a crowd because of the dollar coffee, so go to the drive through. I avail myself this small act of laziness only because it's usually FASTER and the drive in people generally get your order right. There's adequate seating and the restaurant and rest rooms are clean. The drive through is 24 hours. Check your order before leaving to avoid problems! Buyer beware. Service was crap. I ordered a burger (specifically no pickles) as well as nuggets and a drink. First & foremost I wasn't given a cup for my drink, which isn't a big deal. But when I asked for one, the woman behind the counter started yelling at the young kid who was working the other register (when she was the one who had my order.) Then comes the food.. my burger with 'NO pickles' had JUST pickles... My nuggets were missing sauce, and my fries had no ketchup... I am not one to complain about minor things like this, however the unapproachable, rude workers behind the counter made all the difference and going up to ask for new food did not feel like an option..
