I was passing through the area and wanted to stop off here to grab something to eat at around lunchtime. I usually get hamburgers whenever I visit a McDonald's restaurant but this time I was in the mood for chicken so I decided to go with their McChicken sandwich and I got an order of fries and a soda to go with it. It was during the busy lunchtime hour so there was a pretty good sized line I waited in to place my order. The line moved at a fairly decent pace and once I placed my order my food came out pretty fast. The dining area had plenty of seating and was pretty clean considering how busy the restaurant was. The food was hot and tasted like it was freshly cooked including the fries. I was pleased with the experience I had here and would eat here again the next time I am out this way. read more

My daughter & I had the quarter pounder with onions on Tuesday night 12/3/24 and both git sick with extreme nausea and diarrhea all day Wednesday. I just called and talked to lady manager for to ask her name, and she should have identified herself, barely spoke English and didn't even understand that I had a complaint and said you should remove onions from your quarter pounder for a little while. I thought this was only happening in mid west and south area, but to have a manager on who never asked my name or # and did nothing but say okay thank you, means nothing will happen, so everyone out there do not get the onions! I am addicted to Shamrock shakes and get so excited when the calendar flips to Feb. I start calling around to find out when I can get my paws on one. Only for a limited time can I get these minty treats. Like a dog I begin drooling. I like these shakes and always have but because of the limited time they are out my like turns to love which turns me into a CRAZY woman. Forget the baby cub ! Don't let this momma bear come between me and my shake. So from Feb - Mar my WW way of life goes to h in a hand basket. 1 shake is 18 points oh my! With St. Pat's Day now over I have been calling and rushing around to get the last bit of minty mess into my mouth. 1 doesn't equal 2. This McDonalds is right on Rt.9 so it's convenient, but that's where the positives end. I stopped here on Mother's Day to pick up some breakfast sandwiches. I had two kids in the car so I used the drive-thru. I couldn't get breakfast sandwiches at DDs because they don't do sandwiches at the drive-thru, or I wouldn't have even been at McDonalds. But that's another review to come. My order was about as simple as it could be: 2 Egg McMuffins. TWO of your signature breakfast item. They handed me the bag and I left, assuming that counting to 2 would not be a problem. I WAS WRONG. They charged me for 2, but I only received 1. Of course I discovered this after I was all the way home. In the hopes that other's don't experience this extreme disappointment, I am now requesting that McDonald's implement the following training program for drive-thru employees: "To ensure that our employees can at least count to 2, we provide these helpful reminders of the differences between 1 and 2: 1 is the first number. 1 is the number of arms the drummer from Def Leppard has. When someone orders 1 of something, pick up the item and then stop. Don't pick up another because that's all that they want. 2 is the next (or second) number. 2 is the number of arms you have (probably). When someone orders 2 of something, pick up the item and put in the bag. Don't stop yet, though. You're not quite done. Pick up another of the same item and put that in the bag too. Their menu has everything scattered all over the place. The dollar menu items weren't all together. The place was dirty - I found a postage stamp there. They messed up my order - I asked for the 20 piece McNuggets, and they gave me a box with 15. I asked for 1 of each sauce.. They gave me 2 Creamy Ranch instead. They used the wrong size bag for my nuggets. My friend and I almost got run over by someone at the Drive-Thru exit. Okay first off, the only up side to this establishment is the fact that it's right next to my house and extremely easy to get to, AT TIMES. Before remodeling, the staff was quite large, and mostly consisted of 15-20 year olds. Everything seemed to run decently at the best, and I don't remember having many complaints. When they re-did the entire place, that's when all hell broke loose. For some reason, they restaffed the entire building. All new people, and under some genius planning, none of them had any experience working in fast food. The first few months were horrific. Every drive-thru order had some kind of mistake, and literally every time I got up to the second window they would ask me what my order was AGAIN. After time, they got a little better at doing orders and getting stuff done, but then they got lazy. Given that there's a max of 5 workers there at a time, even the smallest of orders, like my usual large ice coffee, nothing else, would take a minimum of 5 minutes in the drive-thru, with NO OTHER CARS. This place feels like a fast food joint run by a bunch of mental patients, with one middle aged man yelling at all of them for either no reason, or to just place himself higher in the feudal system that is McDonalds. Every single night, they shut off their 'M' sign out front about 3 hours before they close, in hopes that people will think they're closed for some god damn reason. I mean like, are you that lazy? They even lock their doors WAY before they close, just to keep people out and business slow. I recently went to the drive thru a little after they opened for the day, all the lights were on, two cars in the usual employee spots, and there was no answer at the speaker. They were clearly open and there were clearly people working, but they either pretended not to hear us or just hid behind the ovens or something. This establishment is a prime example of a teenager not wanting to get out of bed, locking their door, and pretending to be asleep to avoid responsibility. This place is hopeless, they've got a borderline brain dead guy working the cash register who asked me if I wanted a bottle of water with my McNuggets, then said that they DON'T come with a drink. I politely said no, and after about 10 seconds of silence and him peering at me through half inch thick glasses, he lets out one last thing to me: ".... Do you want a bottle of water?" Over the course of ordering just one thing of McNuggets, he asked me if I wanted a water bottle about 3 or 4 times. After my order was done, I decided to pay him with the change in my pocket, and purposely left out 10 cents. He didn't even notice, didn't even count the change correctly. He then proceeded to get yelled at by the big manager guy, the one that yells your order number like he's working in the deli on Thanksgiving. From drive-thru workers telling me the cost of my order and to move up to the next window after only ordering one item, to the elementary school tri-fold project for hiring jobs on one of the tables, to the mayo on my PLAIN McChickens, this place has proven to be a shitshow. This is by far the worst service I've ever had at a McDonald's, and I get it every single time I come. But for some reason, I always find myself coming back, either to just watch funny shit happen behind the counter, purposely try to get bad service just for a laugh, or just for the sheer convenience. It's sort of like middle school. You hated it so much, but some of the most stupid things make for the best memories. read more

In this technological, fast-paced era of poverty, capitalism and lack of better options, this McDonalds often becomes a place that I visit merely out of convenience. Expectations are routinely lowered, however I continue to find myself here, mostly because I need a quick, (somewhat) inexpensive meal. An establishment such as this one cannot be expected to always live up to expectations, however, the fact of the matter is that they have repeatedly made my expectations worse and worse. The employees here are mediocre at best, and I believe that the mediocrity starts at the top. Oftentimes, I have visited this McDonalds and observed the managers doing grunt-work that a dopey 15-year old would be capable of. The main reason for this seems to be that the actual employees are incapable of getting anything done, causing the managers to attempt to save the ship by taking over the mundane tasks of an average McDonalds worker. One time, after having my order taken by the manager for nothing but an order of french fries, I took a peek into the back of the kitchen. Rather than cooking my order, I witnessed a lone employee pick up a large bag of what can be presumed to be french fries, and proceed to throw it against the wall. This gesture was met with a hostile "Tyrone, get to work!!!" from the manager. However, Tyrone did not get to work. For the next 25 minutes, I watched as the manager argued with Tyrone until she finally looked up at the order screen and realized that my fries still weren't done. It would seem that her and Tyrone were the only 2 workers that night, because nobody else was able to fulfill my simple request during their argument. Finally, after approximately 30 minutes, the fries were dumped onto a tray and slid across the counter to me. No explanation for the long cooking time was given. Overall, I would have to say that the main problem here is that the workers really just don't care. My friend and I once went through the drive thru and ordered a few McChickens, and when we got to the window to pay, the worker just gave us the food and didn't even make us pay for it. The McChickens turned out to be extremely hard and almost black on the inside, so I'm glad we got them for free, but it still goes to show that the employees could give less of a shit about anything. These low standards are likely established by the managers, who are often fairly incapable themselves. The only reason this place stays in business is that there isn't really anywhere else to grab a cheap meal on this section of Rt 9. Regardless of the negativity I've been projecting throughout this review, I do have to concur with Cormac that this place is great for a laugh, and it the food is generally edible. If I wasn't the type of person that laughs when things go wrong, however, this place would probably cause me to run into the oncoming traffic of Rt 9 while ripping my hair out. read more

I'm 44 in this is the worst fast food restaurant I've ever been to In My Life. I strictly ate out of McDonald's while I was in college. This store owner is such a fool he's outside blowing the parking lot with a Backpack Blower while both of his kids run with bare feet around the inside of the store screaming running out into the road and then coming and standing in front of his dirty touch screen computer which you are forced to order through. The owner told the employees that they could not take anyone's order verbally they have to put it through this touchscreen system. This system " which is broken on one side" and doesn't have any of the (place markers) when going through this computer system it tells you to take a V shaped plastic identify after you've done your order. There are no V shaped plastic marking devices in the entire restaurant . I felt really bad for the the front counter worker man. he kept saying that he was told that everyone has to do this computer touch screen . He was directed to never take a verbal order and after you're done with the touchscreen you go back with your paper receipt and then he has to review your order and then you have to pay him now at the corner where the register is . you can't pay at the kiosk. The owner of this franchise is extremely greedy and seems like a bad parent . It's very obvious that he's trying to cut out a job from this franchise. I think everyone should boycott any store that mandatorily asks you to touch that screen and not talk to the human. I always thought A McDonald's was a McDonald's. I've been to McDonald's in Bermuda I've been to McDonald's in Times Square. all over the country I've never had such a terrible situation happening, definitely would never go back there again definitely! would not recommend it to a friend. beware! I used to love coming to this establishment but times have changed. I came to mcdonalds earlier to buy a triple cheese burger meal with a medium strawberry fanta. I walked to the register and the young lady with an excessive amount of make up for fast food gave me attitude that was completely unnecessary. I just asked for my cup and walked to the soda machine and noticed that there was a ton of fruit flies. I then walked over to the counter and politely waited for my food. A young man called my number and I noticed at the corner of my eye there was a black rodent that scattered across. I lost my appetite and asked the young lady for my money back. I've been here numerous times and each time have experienced either an incorrect order, stale or cold product, or failure to provide me with all components of an order (i.e a drink). Most recently, they assured me that I had paid for my order which I had not. After several minutes of waiting while they diagnosed what happened, I was given my order for free (hooray!) - it was still consistent with the ineptitude I have come to expect from this location. Why do I continue to go back? Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment but actually, it's a half mile from home. That being said, I will now be taking the opportunity to drive well beyond my radius to enjoy the food I expected at alternative locations east and west and encourage you to do the same. I know it's just cheap fast food but that makes it all the more frustrating. I don't complain about single orders - mistakes happen - but I have to believe there is a larger component driving the lack of quality and consistency here. read more

This review is only from my experiences as a drive thru customer. Several times over the past year I have visited the drive thru for a quick McCafe or breakfast meal order. The site is convenient to my commute and each successive visit I hold out a ray of hope for a positive outcome... The drive thru is not a quick operation. Service is slow, often times orders are jumbled at the window - and you can sit for several minutes in the drive thru line. The same person making your coffee or checking your order is often the person taking your payment at the same window. The machine involved in making a specialty hot coffee drink is often not working - the staff are wasting their time trying to get it operate. Often I am asked at the window "What is in your order?". I am now only ordering hot black coffee as anything else is a roulette game. But again today the wait time was several minutes. Management should review the rush hour morning work flow at the drive thru and also address equipment issues. If a patron is waiting at the window for a large or complex order have them park to the side and run their order to them, for example. i'll visit again in a couple of months, I hope for a quick cup of coffee, not an 8 minute wait to receive a cup of coffee. read more

Not sure if they had to go out and catch the fish, or what, but it took forever. Meanwhile, the rest of our food was getting cold since they had already put it on the tray. This place is terrible. Should have know because I went there once before and it was terrible then too. Sloppy, dripping, disgusting BIG MAC, cold unsalted French fries and a filet of fish that was cold despite the fact that it tasted like it had been microwaved 5 minutes too long. Service was terrible with drive thru. Attendant seemed to hate his job (big surprise there), and he could /would not speak the queens English. I made an effort to fill out the online survey questionnaire off the receipt asking the store manager to call me (7 days ago and have not heard from him) and also filled out a complaint form on line with corporate again asking for contact.
