I ordered on the app for drive thru pickup only to wait ten cars to be told their 'system is down'. I said I already paid for my order, and they said they can't do anything and to come back in 10-15 minutes. I drove around again to be told the same amount of time. They lost so much money turning like 20 cars away. I promised my 4 year old a happy meal if she smiled for picture day. So I had to take her to the dollar tree and get her something while we waited, because she couldn't just have her chicken nuggets. These people can't do anything when their system is down? Come on guys, just write it down and make the food. I came back to the drive thru- the order still pending on my phone, and waited again... Then they tried to not hand me the happy meal and only the adult meal I ordered. They didnt give us a straw, and no sauce was in the box for her nuggets when we got home. This all took me an HOUR after teaching all day. I asked for a refund on mcdonalds website and got a no??? Wow. I am telling everyone NEVER to go this location. The worst McDonald's in Fort Wayne. Never open the hours advertised. Went 2 months without any soft drinks without finding alternatives. Employees are often rude. Avoid if possible. I would strongly suggest the location on Stellhorn Road instead, at least they honor their posted hours. They may be open 24hours but any time after 9pm you can expect them to be "doordash only" depending on if the employees want to take orders that evening. Honestly just avoid this place management dosent seem to care, and they almost never answer the phone. We are done giving this location any more chances. read more

Do not go to this location. For starters my order sat on the counter for 10-15 min before they even made me aware of it. Of course they forgot items on the order. The only reason it gets a 1 is because I have to give it something! Today I went to the McDonald's at 9827 Lima Rd. At 5 pm! I ordered a cheeseburger meal for myself and 2 happy meals for my grandkids! The service was subpar! They acted like I was inconvenience them! My bun was sooo hard, it's like it sat out all day! All of our fries were cold, I tried warming them in the microwave, they were warm but still hard! My burger was dry and tasteless!! I am so disappointed in this location! The service is always horrible, the food is mostly horrible!! Today is my very last visit to this location. I will drive farther to get decent service and food the next time!! Listen sweetheart. We went there on a thanksgiving eve for a nice McCafé. They seemed somewhat busy, nothing out of the usual for a McDonald's. I waited for around 40 minutes, because I knew they were busy. And may I remind you AGAIN, I only ordered three coffees. Nothing abnormal for a morning. Pretty easy order. My legs were getting kinda tired cramped up in this car for 40 minutes so I politely called out to the runner. "Sweetheart," she said, "have you seen inside there!?," she said. I was trying to be understanding, fast food is a brutal working conditions especially near a holiday, but I still have a life to live outside of McDonald's coffee. One thing led to another and after enduring being called sweetheart with a thick accent, I left with three fun sized drinks opposed to my original intentions of a full cup each. Nice. read more

This McDonalds has some of the rudest, and most disrespectful workers that I have ever encountered at a fast-food restaurant. In the past I have just ignore what i have seen or heard because it was not directed at me (other customer's) However, after recently asking if I could have two straws for my two shakes (at the drive-thru), a young worker replied to another worker, " Can you get this weirdo a couple of straws?" Rather than have an altercation with a 'child', I pulled into a parking space and with my young grandchild in tote, I went inside to complain about the encounter, to a manager. The manager defended the behavior, saying they are just kids! When I challenged him on the 'kids' being old enough to understand right from wrong and felt this was poor customer service, the manager reprimanded me for complaining. He then threw my money on the counter at me when I stated that in addition to being insulted, my fries were cold and asked for some hot ones. (I guess that was a "nice" way of saying "no" to my request for fresh/hot fries). In that moment, I understood why the teens at the drive-thru were ok behaving the way they were. I said nothing else. From now on I will go a little out of my way to the Mcdonalds on Stellhorn, although this Mcdonalds on State and Coliseum is closer to my home. read more

Would have given 1 star if it werent for the good service at 1st window. But the the mid day manager was HORRIBLE! I ordered a plain hamburger for my dog. I got 3 burgers all dressed before i got a plain one. And the pregnant manager tried to make me leave without fixing it, and even called me 3 curse words. I had to bluff a police call to get my food or money. The worst service out of any macdonalds ever. Her name was Ashley. I hope they promote one of the workers who were of priper training and get her trained properly before she tries that act in someone who would have fought her like she wanted to fight me.
