Ooof, this is hard to write...but dang. Noah and I have been here before without issue, but on the night of 13 August, they must've had only 3 dudes on the cook side...all we ordered were some nuggets. I think maybe 20min into the wait, Noah surmised it was because nuggets were super popular that night. The staff came out to ask if anybody was in a hurry. That was nice of them, but really? Another indicator that it was a busy was nobody came to bus the tables or empty out the trash. Also, the dining area kept filling with people, but no food came out. It was as if they were only focused on the drive thru. It was 8:15 pm, maybe they were changing shifts? We finally got our food and the server was kind. The interaction was simple, she brought our food, check to see if it was correct and then exit stage left. Not long after there was a group of guys that came in, and a team member familiar to them came out and tried to shoo them away. It was all in good fun until the McD team member said get the eff out of here and eff this...she was just having fun, but at the expense of my 12yo son's virgin ears (lol)...but less than professional. Would be a negative 5 star if available but have to settle with a 1 star because that's the lowest I can go. Waited about an hour for our lobby order. Staff was no help. Only 2 other guests waiting in the lobby for food. 3 door dash runners waiting for food. Same scenario for all of us. One lady waited more than 30 minutes for 2 ice cream cones. JUST ICE CREAM! Drive thru orders kept coming and no slowdown there. I would not recommend coming to this location or any other. McDonald's prioritizes the drive thru and you can even see the timer they have on the orders at the drive thru at some locations. They use this data to say they serve their customers in a short amount of time. That's also why they have you pull to the side to serve others customers quickly. I would not recommend. Oh and yes we all know, the food sucks here. It was cold and they got most of it wrong. 2 happy meals and 4 adult meals. One of our 4 piece McNugget kids meals only had 2 nuggets and no other sides (fries, apple slices, etc ) every other meal was messed up too. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

My mother, a senior citizen, stopped by to grab something to eat after spending the night with my father at the hospital next door. She waited at the drive-thru for 15 minutes -- with no cars ahead of her -- and received no response. When no one acknowledged her, she parked and went inside, only to wait another 15 minutes before anyone addressed her. That's 30 minutes of waiting just to place an order. She finally ordered a hot coffee and breakfast, but due to time constraints and needing to get back to the hospital, she didn't check her items. When she arrived -- just a minute away -- she discovered that the coffee was cold. This is completely unacceptable. I ordered from here using their app, and yes although it's pretty cool to be able to do that, they have forever lost points in my heart. So I ordered two happy meals one for my kid and one for my boyfriends daughter, they are both in the fearsome Five stage, you know the stage where you love then but you also don't like them cause their little s*%ts, and they fight over everything ! So, I'm here not to talk about the food or McD's itself so much (I mean, any fast food joint you go to is literally the same, food wise), but to instead discuss the newest feature this chain has introduced which will revolutionize attaining obesity status in America and the world over: mobile ordering. I have to admit...the McD's app is pretty frickin' amazing. Matter of fact, my only complaint is that it unfortunately means making the battle against teen obesity an uphill one. Both ways. While walking barefoot in the snow. Actually, this app is kind of a terrible idea, now that I think about it. Are we sure we wanna release this thing to the public, America?? But seriously, folks...if you absolutely HAVE to have fast food in your life, then please...for the love of Gawd and all that is holy...use this app instead of the anemically slow drive thru. Honestly, I feel with mobile ordering in general, this concept will soon replace the archaic ritual that is known as drive thru service. Because let's be honest here: drive thru service is absolutely abysmal as of late. Starbucks can't get it right. Whataburger sure as hell can't get it right (they currently have the slowest drive thru service in all of El Paso and STILL don't have mobile ordering via their app). And McD's doesn't fair much better in that regard. Since the introduction of this app, I have never (and will never) set wheel into their drive thru service. Sooo, yeah...I'm pushing the idea of taking advantage of this technology because...well...because it's 20 frickin 18, people! If you're still using the old school services of drive thru which now seem to operate at a snail's pace, when much faster and more accurate ordering services exist, then you are absolutely insane! Very disappointed that I ordered an unsweet tea and it was a sweet tea. My receipt had it correct so the order was not entered wrong. On the last three occasions of me going to this establishment, it seems to me that I have been waiting exponentially longer. You have the problem of the self-serve kiosks that have been installed. Nobody uses them, occasionally there is the one person that does and that is it. You have employees that go and help customers that don't want to use them. This is fine however, they leave and go back to their original post in the kitchen. Another problem is the cashier, they serve one or two people, then leave their post to go to meal prep. This is one I do not understand, especially when there is two or three people already handling this task. The third time going to this location, I arrived at around 11:50am-12pm or so and did not receive my order until around 12:30pm. Fast food should never take this long, especially since I order small things on the "dollar menu." They really need to fix these specific problems that way food can move quicker. read more

Whenever I come visit El Paso for my drill weekends, this is the closest McDonalds that I frequent relative to when I stay. I have never received bad customer service here when I have used the drive thru. Maybe I've gotten lucky. I alway order the same thing. Either Egg White Delight meal or Southwest Salad with half cut tea. Today in particular the drive thru worker who took my order was very kind, respectful and had a smiling happy face when I paid. As usual this location is ignorant to the restaurant promotions and plain old quality policies. After having gone there a few times and never getting my order right I have to wonder who is the regional manager that makes sure franchise quality is up to par. I personally would not want people like this representing my business. The latest promotion as advertised on current Google websites states that the promotion going this week only is $.50 double cheeseburgers. Simple enough, but if you ask them they've never heard of it and if it is true according to them it would be on the app. They don't honor anything unless it's on the app and they don't have to deal with it. 12:47AM Saturday morning, I had to wait on line at the drive through. Waiting more than 10-15 minutes in the middle of the night when you know that there is a such thing as the weekend rush is just poor business. I understand that there is a pandemic going on but they should be grounds for improved customer service through the drive thru. Not recognizing such situations that is Common practice is a failure to prepare and understand your customer base. Waiting in line at the 35 - 40 minute mark requires explanation of failed service and optional refund and or store credit. McDonald's is a multi million dollar organization that should be running like a million dollar Rolex.. Smooth and effortless. The example displayed by this particular franchise was clearly a poor example of preparation staffing and customer consideration. Well where do I begin I have gone to this location multiple times and I feel like it has gone the shit hole. There are some good workers there but the majority of them aren't friendly and it seems like they hate their lives. I get it it's McDonald's but still they could smile at least.
