You should never expect much except the bare minimum, which this location struggles with everyday. I come here more than I should, so I'm familiar with the routine. I should expect to wait quite a while, as it gets very busy. A tip, you should just go in and pick up your food as it is faster than the drive thru. It seems as if they are prioritizing pickup orders from the inside as cars are always waiting in the drive thru for a long time. Now onto the service towards me. Every time I come in and have a meal with a drink, they never give me the cup. So I have to wait until the cashier is done helping people for someone to notice me. All the employees there, yes all of them, look me right in the eye and don't care to say "I think that guy needs help." Or "do you need anything else". If they aren't pouring the drinks for me, they need to read the receipt that they put on there that says I need a drink. I shouldn't have to stand there for 5 minutes or longer waiting on a single cup. Most of the time, they get done with my food way before my coffee or lemonade and I don't understand that either. Why is my food getting done faster than a lemonade? This location is quite cleaner than the one in Columbus, so I will say kudos to whoever is cleaning up. The bathrooms are never disgusting. To sum it up, this is one of those locations that irritate you, but you still go because it's so close to you. If only this location had the service that the Columbus location has. read more

Gee, I don't understand why this McDonalds only has 1 star! I don't usually review fast food, but I gotta put my two cents in here. My review is based on walk in experience, not drive thru. First, this McDonalds is located outside a busy mall that has weekend and holiday traffic. In addition, they get interstate traffic. The entrance in and out is confounded by mall traffic flow. During off peak hours, there is easy in and out. The building and facilities have been clean on my visits. The interior is McDonalds upscale. There have been staff out tidying and having jovial banter with customers. The staff is efficient and friendly. The food is standard McDonald's fare so that's what to expect. Except this location runs daily specials. Today, was four fresh baked cookies for $1 so we picked up four for our granddaughter - yum! The senior coffees are priced special for senior budget. We enjoy having a quick morning coffee (and occasional cookie) and planning our day. All in all, I'm loving it! read more

My better half and I were in the area antique shopping- and God love him, I know I have this "hangry look". He quickly pulled in this McDonald's (drive thru was jammed as was lunch time). So you found this McDonald's on yelp. Well find a different one. This McDonald's will make you pull forward from the service window and wait to get your food in front of the store. Even when they aren't busy. Then when you go to check on where your food is you are cutoff from talking by the cashier. Worst McDonald's location ever! This past week it took 15 minutes of waiting in the drive through to get my food. When I received it, the food was not fresh. Staff was seen dancing in the drive through window and had absolutely no awareness of the need to serve customers expeditiously (or just plain didn't care). No apology for the long wait. If you are on 65, my advice is to do one of the following: 1. Get food at the Arby's next door. (Taco Bell also tends to be slow.) 2. Totally unprofessional staff. A person that appeared to be cleaning the FILTHY lobby was more cornered with another employees comment about them. They had their shirt sleeves rolled up like they were wearing a sleeveless shirt and their pants were sagging. The drink area was dirty, the Trash was overflowing, tables were dirty and people were waiting 25-30 minutes for an order. When I finally did get my order the fries were room temperature and the burgers were sloppy. I love Edinburgh outlets, and I love that McD's has free wi-fi. Unfortunately, I stopped in here for a breakfast meeting (via computer) and breakfast. The wi-fi was so unbelievably slow that I had to use my phone as a hot spot. It sort of defeated the purpose. The food was hot, and the restaurant was clean. The service was super slow, and the drink area needed some pretty major cleaning and stocking. The bathrooms were average for a McD's. Every time I leave this location, I come away saying "never again", but I find myself time and time again, getting suckered into returning because of the convenience of the location. This time, I really am done. The issue I usually have with this location is the profoundly long wait in the drive thru, which I typically don't hold against them because of their proximity to the mall. But this morning, there was little to no wait, so decided to give it a shot. Was charged an upcharge for a larger drink that I didn't ask for. Wouldn't have made anything of it, but then wasn't given the large drink size I was charged for. Coffee was remade.
