Worst ever! Food was cold, soda flat, no ketchup or lids and dirty! Will not return to this location. Ever!

It's McDonalds so I guess you get what you get, and the food is about on or with others, though I think they let stuff sit around too long. What I can't stand is when they screw up an order CONSTANTLY. Prime example, we ordered McDoubles and got just a plain old sad single burger THREE TIMES! I mean, c'mon! read more

This was a horrible experience! I commute from Cedar Park to Dripping Springs regularly and had my toddler and older daughters on this trip. My toddler had to go to the restroom so we stopped at McDonald's to get a snack and use the restroom, after we ordered a large sprite, 3 small fries, a chocolate milk and sliced apples TO GO...it took us 20 minutes to get our order and our sprite was not included on the ticket...we didn't want to wait any longer so we left without a drink. There was only one customer ahead of us in the restaurant, and by time we left there were at least 6 other people waiting for their orders. However, this was not the worst of it! While waiting for our order at the registers I watched one of the employees working the drive through eat a french fry from one of the small french fry bags and then proceeded to place it in happy meal box and hand it to the customer at the drive through window...really? A young gentleman (who looked all of 16 years old) and whom I presume was a shift leader came out several times asking if the orders backed up on the counter were complete, when the drive through cashier stated no, he disappeared and didn't offer to help, this happened not once but 3 times. This all took place at 7 p.m. when most people are having dinner so you would assume that McDonald's of all places would be prepared to serve customers in a prompt, hygienic manner. read more

One star, only because there is no "no star" option. I visited this location at about 5:30 pm, on 9/23/15. There was only one person, who appeared to be the manager, taking orders, and packing orders. They were out of the fresh ketchup, upon asking them for more, the manager pointed to a box of the packets( which I don't like). The floor and drink area were covered with spills, and the floor sticky. My Big Mac was cold, as if sitting around for awhile, and the apple pie I ordered was cold, and hard, as if just pulled from a fridge. I'm done with this horribly run place. Sandwiches slapped together like a monkey did it. Attitudes and lazy sloppy employee behavior. After a rush its left unattended for quite a while. Disgusting food and service. I've had it. I sucked it up for my kids because there is a play place., but, Im never going back. They need to shut it down and put up a Chic fil A. I'm writing a 5 star review to counteract all the negative marks it got. I moved here after those comments. So maybe I'm wrong, but I've gotten very fast and friendly service and have been quite pleased with this McDonald's and it's location. It's also extremely nice on the inside and worth a sit down. Or an escape with some kids. Yeah it's McDonald's. And it's not going to be a 5 star when it's busy. Stop back again and see if it really is as bad as you think. This is my first bad review on yelp. This place is always understaffed, the lines are incredibly long, they mess up your orders and the place is dirty. It's a brand new McDonalds! How is it that the old DQ down the street is cleaner? New management, more staff...please. read more

I've had food cooked in old oil in the past, but this place took the prize. The fries were so horrible that extra salt didn't even help. My fish sandwich had a nasty taste as well. My coffee was only lukewarm. I wld have had them warm it up, but we had gone thru the drive-thru. We had to go get ice cream in the next town to get the lingering old oil flavor from our mouth! read more

If you want fast food don't go to McDonald's in Dripping Springs. Took about 30 mins for a breakfast burrito in Drive Thru and there were only a few cars ahead of me. They need to hire more employees. Increase pay if needed. They have no problem increasing prices. read more

Honestly, better burger than I had down the road at burgergrille. At least these were cheaper and less greasy.

This McDonalds lacks consistency with the food and they've messed up my order more than a few times but they have a really cool indoor playground for the kiddos so we'll be back on rainy days. There is also a drive-thru. read more

I wonder who is minding the store here. I went in today (Sunday) at 9am. 4 people in line, no one was at the register. Drive thru had a dozen cars lined up. And the kiosk was not working. I only saw 3 employees, one at the drive thru window, one in the kitchen and one at the food discharge are looking at 3 paper receipts. Who ever had the franchise for this store is certainly not interested in how it is run. I walked out, could not wait. read more

Ridiculous. I have heard of the theory of doing more with less, but this takes the cake. The slowest service in town. $10.50 per hour gets you higher paid people but less of them to do the job and get it done quickly. 14 minutes from speaker to food. Franchise owners should be ashamed. read more

What is up with customer service these days? I would love to give a negative rating but yelp will not let me. Let's start at the speaker at the drive through. The lady takes my order, the order is not on the screen and I get no total, the lady just says ok and drive up. I get to the first window, the lady takes my credit card and says thanks. I pull to the second window, and yes, I was timing it. 4 minutes and 52 seconds before a different lady hands me a bag of food with a look on her face as if I was interrupting her time. I look at her and she looks back like I did something wrong and I ask about my drink. She rudely hands me my drink and I say thank you , what did she do? Gives me a dirty look again and closes the window. One more fast, or I should say slow food restaurant I will never go to again. read more

Not super impressed. I'm not looking for anything too fancy here--just a convenient, fast, friendly fast food experience. If you manage this location, I hope you're listening because they could use some help over there. The girl who took my order was like not awake. Doesn't even confirm the order or order total at the window and did in fact input my order wrong. All I wanted was the nuggets--not the meal. Which usually if I want the meal, I'll say the #such and such meal or at least hope they ask to clarify. I you might think getting extra food is a nice thing--but not when you didn't intend to order it. I had to pay more than I wanted to and it tempts me to eat extra junk that I never wanted to begin with. I'm already feeling guilty for eating Mcdonalds period. She takes my money seeming like she's in outer space and doesn't even offer a receipt. Then I waited like 10 mins between windows 1 and 2. I was there on a Tues between 11 and 2--qualifying me for my order to be free (whatever happened to "fast and fresh or it's free?"). Does anyone make good on that offer? No. because they're too busy correcting the order they got wrong for the truck in front of me. Man at second window is equally strange and seemingly irritated by my existence. I definitely have been here multiple times to order their slushee thangs. Those, pretty good. BUT BOY the last two times I've been there, there is a nice juicy aroma of straight poop. Is there a dirty diaper hiding under the counter? I don't know. Is there a gross employee? Don't know. I also ordered a super duper simple cheeseburger without pickles and ya girl got a super simple cheeseburger with 3 whole pickle slices. Super yummy. If I could I would give this location 5 Negative stars for their drive through. I have to wait around 10 minutes for a happy meal everytime I have gone. What's worse is they quickly get your money to then make you stuck waiting. One of the worst McDonald's in the country. Consistently slower, and delivering an expired, soiled and rancid meal compared to local Chick Fil A, Whataburger and Dairy Queen. Mixed review today. They seemed to be short staffed- only one person working the drive thru, and it took them forever to get my food. The upside- Best burger I ever had here! This place was FILTHY! Only 2 customers sitting eating and we had to sit in the only sorta clean table with sun hitting us... I went to wash my hands and had to leave and use Hand sanitizer. Dirty toilet paper all over and plugged dirty toilets... no ketchup or napkins. I asked for manager and told him his place was so dirty and could we have someone clean tables so we could get out of sun, he said they are so busy (only 2 more customers were there) and they "will get to it when they can" mean while the girl with the pink hair behind counter sitting on prep table area laughing chatting with manager. We stood at counter waiting to place order while she laughed it up. My hubby finally asked her if we could order.... she rolled her eyes and just stood in front of register and said nothing. Just the worst experience imaginable - it takes supreme effort to double and triple check every order from here. A complete mystery whether you get hot tasteless fries, cold salty fries, or completely wrong food - at random times various equipment breaks that oh, say, might be important like the espresso drinks machine, or the soda machine. Some of the staff try hard and are good - but they don't stick around long. Combine all of this with the wifi leeches that frankly, creep everyone out with the mystery food, the limited menu, and you have a bad experience overall. read more

Went twice this week for lunch, it was not busy and there was nobody in the drive thru; my strawberry pie was burned, dry and old, I got a crispy chicken salad and the chicken was soggy and cold, but the worst part was I ordered fries and they were completely raw, I had to throw them away. I guess it's my fault. Why would I expect my order to be correct. Or for my food to be hot. Or for there to be a clean eatin area and play area.... Why would I expect that the service I receive would be courteous rather than straight up rude and obnoxious. I've just returne from Afghanistan on my 6th combat operations deployment in this war, but I don't expect a "thank you" from anyone. But I surely did not expect an "I don't know why you guys are wasting your time amd our money there". At first I thought it was a joke, but the follow up "you should find another job cause there's so much more problems here that you could take care of instead of messing around out there" comment almost oushed me over the board. I had to revert myself back to the reason I go overseas every time, I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend til the death your right to say it. This location has drastically dropped in service an quality since the first few times I visited here. Maybe it's a new franchise owner, new management or lord knows what. But I pray that rude comments like the ones I've received about military personnel and MY FALLEN BUDDIES don't fall on the ears of service men and women other than myself. They may not be as lenient as I. I think that I unfortunately will not be patroning this location anymore. Probably will give up McDonald's as a whole. Was in a hurry to get to work and was ordering a bunch of food for co-workers. First off, the girl at the counter could barely speak English. Second, I ordered a sausage, egg, cheese bagel(which I have ordered in the past, with no issues) and she told me they only had bacon or steak and it was probably steak they gave me. I didn't have time to argue so I said ok. Got it to work and no sausage is not the same as steak. Third, the hot chocolate machine took forever to make 1 medium drink. I had my food and stood there for another 10min waiting while 3 people tried to get the machine to work. And did I say in the beginning I was in a hurry. I was so long waiting, that I missed my daughter before she went to school and couldn't give her the food I ordered for her. So needless to say, this visit was a fail read more

I gotta admit, if McDonalds had to depend on my business, they could close their doors coast to coast today. But on occasion, I have to eat at one. Last week I went in, restaurant was dirty and uncrowded. Even though it was empty, I had to wait for a couple of minutes to give order. Ice Tea container at drink area had no cover on it! Just a Tea reservoir open to insects, sneezes, coughs, boogers or whatever Bevis and Butthead want to throw into our drinks. I told the manager who went and looked for herself. Then she went to the back and started asking employees if they had seen the lid..REALLY? You have to chase down minimum wage people to find the lid to the Tea bucket in the public area??? What goes on where we can't see, where customers can't supervise the management? Called the owner's office in Oak Hill. Told the Payroll Admin person Jamie. She acted equally disgusted. Sent her a photo of the uncovered tank. Requested and promised a call back from Mr. Benson or Benton the owner....still waiting. His concern for customer's health is underwhelming. Reminded me why I AVOID going to McDonalds. Believe the other reviews-it's that bad. Whataburger is just up the street. Real hamburgers. The drive through guy was really strange. He kept trying to yell through the speaker while I wasn't close enough to order. Then they didn't have any ice cream. When I got up to the window, the guy took my credit card and loudly said "Yay yay!" Then he took about 2 minutes just to run the card. It was becoming obvious why the line was long. When I finally got my food, my double cheeseburger had one full patty and one patty that was mangled and about 1/3 the size it should have been. The fries weren't salted. My wife's fish sandwich had a really small piece of cheese as well, strangely enough. Were they trying to save money by using smaller versions of what we ordered?
