I ordered a mcchicken sandwich from McDonald's I usually don't go there and I was literally so excited but then I had a feeling there going to ruin the experience and they did they served me the driest and oldest Mcchicken patty on earth it's been sitting probably for hours that was the one and only item I ordered and they decided to serve me an old patty that's been sitting for hours why is it hard for a franchise like McDonald's to get a small thing like that good I don't know many people always told me don't we will never go there I wonder why just the worst experience you could of at least made me wait and just gave me a fresh one instead of an old dry one well definitely will not go to that location anymore read more

Pros:Big parking lot, very clean restaurant. Cons:two kiosks are out of order. Only one cashier was open. Patio was open but no shade. I was looking for dine in because BC government eased restrictions but they said they will start it from tomorrow. So everyone sit outside without shade. It's pity that owner were not prepared for it and missing sales timing. It's warm weekend. People want chilly drinks too. read more

Ordered a bigmac with extra onions. It came with zero onion. Also got a QP with cheese. Got no cheese. Of course I didnt notice this until I got home. Absolute garbage service. I called them 3 times and no one answered. Why am I paying for this when you can't even give me what I paid for? Never go to this location. read more

Came here for late night munchies. Parking is plentiful in this giant lot on the side. The counter area is a bit on the cramped side, but the seating area is fine. With that said, because of the location, there were a LOT of kids running around and screaming. This location has a kids' playground though, which may explain a lot. The funny thing about this location is the "double happiness" wallpaper used in one area - you'd almost be tempted to throw a Chinese wedding here, super-sized fries and all. The other thing good about this location - it's open 24h. Yay! read more

Of all the McDonald's in the lower mainland this one is my favorite in recent years after the renovation making it a mcCafe with a variety of seating groups including booth seating, bistro seating, fireplace setting, high bar and tb seating and kids seating. These is also a nice outdoor seating area with decent furniture. Management wise this McDonald's has always been very strong with efficiency and customer service of the 10years I have frequent this place. Equipped with 4 self-serve stations and 3 cashiers plus 2 seperate drive through ordering stations. There is a separate pick up counter that seperate the cashier crowds from the pick up crowds (where other McDonald's don't and people get confused). Washrooms here are clean and tidy. Garbage and recycling stations are nicely recessed into walls. Ample of parking. Overall one of the best McDonald's. (I have been to all over North America's McDonald's. read more

My father was injured at the McDonald's Restaurant in the Coq. Center Location. He is diabetic and elderly and chunk of finger was cut off and cannot be stitched because he literally lost the skin. It has been a difficult and frustrating experience trying to get compensation. It's been 6 weeks and we feel like we're getting jerked around by the owner. We would NEVER go back obviously. It's a good thing their grandchildren didn't get their finger cut off becuase they go their often with my father. This is the 2nd time an injury has happened at this location because of a defective chair. The owner owns multiple locations and you think he can afford to replace a broken chair. Great mcdonalds location here. The staff are always so fast and friendly. Highly recommend this spot.

Decent sized McDonald's not too hard to find but it's not the easiest to get in if you miss the entrance. It's by the road and there's two entrance/exit. Drive through is quite fast and most staffs have pretty good attitude. A few parking space there in the parking lot but there's some street parking at the back too. Reasonable price and alright quality food. You get what you pay for. read more

I ordered something and I got the wrong thing and was with my kids and I asked for a refund of the wrong thing received in my order. the assistant manager said it was my fault and made a scene in front of everyone. I was so excited for the new all day breakfast menu. Waited all month using a countdown on my phone. showed up first day. Biggest mistake..never eat in Coquitlam everything is of a lower quality made by coquitlamites for coquitlamites. Everythings D grade. First of all the area stinks like dead fish because of the river drying up and all the salmon dying. Coquitlam means foulfishsmell in chipawa. The worker taking my order had serious issues taking my order, barely spoke English. So after a lengthy ordering process involving charades and chicken noises to confirm that i wanted egg. The employee pulled out an electronic Chinese to english translator and we got to the bottom of it. I finally got my mcmuffin and it was soo BURNT and tasted like a knockoff. My hashbrown was undercooked and soft, floppy, wet, unsalted. With a white hair on the tip. The hashbrown was savage but i had to try a bite so i knew for sure what i was dealing with (im a true yelper). The coffee tasted nothing like coffee. Way too much sugar. Everything I've eaten in Coquitlam has been disgusting. Just drive out to burnaby or maple ridge you will get better service (english speaking employees that actually care) read more

I ordered 20 pieces mcnuggets which is 13.99, they took the wrong order and charged me 10 pieces meal which is around 9 something. I figured it out when I left so I went back and told them that they took the wrong order. The lady's attitude is SO BAD and she wouldn't change the order for me, she said the only thing she can do is charge me another 9 bucks for 10more nuggets. Wth thats so freaking dumb that's like 20 bucks in total. read more

Okay food, although they're getting pretty skimpy on the burger sauces and nugget dips. But their coffee is great and their drive-thru lines are well-designed and usually fast-moving. Most of the drive-thru staff are great and very friendly. I've never gone inside but there seems to be ample parking. The only thing I dislike is that trying to pull out of their driveway onto Runnel is often taking your life into your hands. People park too close on the street and you can't see if a car's coming until it's right there. Oh, and I wish they'd fold the top of the bag better. It never stays closed. read more

Everything looks good, until you compare prices to another McDonald's stores. Simple example: exactly the same wrap combo is 7.69 here vs 6.99 in McDonald's at SeaBus terminal in North Van vs 7.39 in McDonald's on St Johns street. I think, other prices are 10% higher :( read more

Friendly staffs; I won't say this restaurant is very clean but compare to others in Coq Centre, North Road, or those in Vancouver, this one is actually quite clean. It can be a bit noisy when it's crammed with people. Parking lot is ok big that normally should not have problem to find a spot. Their coffees are ok to good in most of the time. Drive-thru is easy to access and usually doesn't take long time to get your meal. Overall I prefer this McDonald's than the others. read more
